Pathological Tires

Pathological Tires

I was able to try this game during Early Access and it is extremely well-made. It remains one of the only examples of a “Racing Puzzle Game” I’ve heard of, and it’s not just a good concept – the level design is stellar, with new challenges and mechanics expanding the design space from area to area, and the game really sticks the landing. If you’re a fan of either puzzle games or racing fandom, this game is for you!

This time, the Salesman is Traveling in style!

Pathological Tires is a great example of simple-yet-challenging. The core gameplay of telling a car what path to take is understood immediately, with clever level design naturally revealing the game’s complexity as you play. Once you start having to think carefully about acceleration and cornering, it gets really interesting.

The game retains some nice racing quirks, too. Setting a new “Personal Best!” time on a puzzle feels really good, even if you’re not quite to the par time yet, and watching your new solution’s car race your previous Best’s ghost is exciting.

I like most DNA games… This one looks great, controls you have to get use to but feel good after.. Lots of promise if it gets updated.

You buy machines, buy raw resources, then sell products.. Simple! But prices need to be better balanced. if you can sell metal plate and metal rod for $150 each and it takes one of each to make a chair that sells for $250, you are loosing money ($50) right off..

The game is fun for the first 10 to 20 minutes. then you sit and wait.. and wait.. and wait… then buy more raw materials and maybe, if the prices are good, sell some products you produced…

EDIT: So my Review has been flagged for a “Pre-Release” yet the Game was released on the 12th, same date this Review was done, and I last played it when it was on the Market to be purchased".

Oh boy, where to start… I like DNA Games, Trader Life by far has the most potential, but even things like Factory Runner, it’s as clunky as a broken cog trying to turn, but still a great concept and neat to play. I’ll always defend Developers where I see fit, and have done so with DNA on many occasions… however, I can’t defend this release…

The game is a line that draws between Jalopy, and My summer car. It isn’t too hardcore and complex as My Summer Car, at the same time, the way it handles its cars is not as simplistic as Jalopy. The game is on this specific sweet spot that makes it enjoyable for newcomers, as well as those who wish to replay the game.

Pros:

  • Customization is the games' strongest point. You can change most elements of your car performance wise, such as swapping engines and adding superchargers and turbos. (assuming you bought the Turbo DLC)

I love this game! Buuuuuut, It’s not without it’s problems.

So here’s a neat little pro and con list for ya!

–PROS–

LOTS of customisation. There’s not a whole lot that can’t be interchanged between the 7 cars in the game.

Degrading car performance. Might seem like a small thing but not many games actually do this. The more you race your car, the more damaged the internal parts get and the performance degrades, then failures are a strong possibility.

Fuel. You need it. It’s not a game to refill it for you either after a race or a drive. Just like real life, YOU need to fill it up when it’s low.

It’s a nice simulator but it’s still feel like an unfinished product. The train worked fine but after unlocking the other ones it gets quite buggy. It can be a chill game while listening to something else and play this but I will only recommend it if it’s working without bugs.

The game has stopped for me, no new objectives come up and there’s nothing to do. Useless waste of time.

Tear of Time: Lost memory

Tear of Time: Lost memory

Tear of Time: Lost memory is an adventure game. You play as a character who, waking up in a house on a remote island, realizes that he has lost his memory. As the game progresses, the player will have to find out the reason for the loss of memory, explore the island, find ancient treasures, explore the ruins with secret locations and solve puzzles.

Peculiarities:

The game does not have any violence and death, the plot is based on a certain artifact “Tear of Time”, which enabled the character to rewind time back in front of any obvious danger. But at what cost, it is narrated according to the plot of the game.

  • Stylized 3D graphics.

  • The main game takes place in third person, but you can switch to first person at will.

  • Several character outfits.

  • It is possible to use a car.

  • The ability to climb rocks in certain places.

  • Moving along the rope-vines.

  • Moving with a grappling hook.

  • Swimming underwater and on the surface.

  • Open world of the island outside of the plot.

  • Constant updates with additional locations and puzzles at no extra charge.

Last Generation: Survival

Last Generation: Survival

Release day for Last Generation Survival and I picked it up without knowing much about it. For early access I’m liking how this game is looking. Couple graphics issues, rocks floating in the air, the dirt road is placed above ground by a couple feet in a few spots, there’s no sound when striking a robot. Needs some work but I like it so far. I did a quick intro video of it here. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fdzn4ejLMtQ

While i am giving this a positive review, the game needs a lot more improvement.

1. The Settings options are buggy, you can check out my video. I DID NOTICE THAT I CHANGED A KEY IN THE GAME AND AFTER THAT I GOT A CRASH.

2. AI needs improving, DEV could go for a different type of enemie (maybe aliens, not zombies)

3. The maps needs a little more work, some of the assets are floating on the map and some of the map relief is wierd.

A Big PRO is that the graphics are not bad, and the mechanics are good. A good start for a game.

Trader Life Simulator

Trader Life Simulator

I like Trader Life Simulator. The game development is in progress and there is a roadmap with further updates. It is a simulation in a tiny world between your nice house and your own supermarket :). Discover the world of business!

The start is not easy and you had to look at your finances, but that´s the fun - capatalism do not sleep !

Some tipps for start:

You have only 600 € at start.

What you have : place a bed in house and the toilet in bath.

What you need : buy a baths tub for 250 € after one day!

And here’s the written version if you prefer reading:

Starting out with just an empty supermarket, a tiny bit of money, a car and a couple of boxes stock that you have to put out yourself, Trader Life Simulator lets you build a shop from the ground up and success involves ordering and placing over 100 products, managing money between different accounts to cover bills and pay your staffs wages, aswell as handling your own basic needs which includes going to the toilet, taking a bath and eating an alarming amount of hot dogs.
