Porsche Hall of Legends VR

Porsche Hall of Legends VR

I play alot of VR apps that are basically just commercials for really rich people who are interested in a fancy car, homes, or air travel. People think because you have VR hat that you are rich. I’m dirt poor. I own several thousand dollars of student loan debt that I refuse to pay off. This, and other life stressers require me to indulge in this cybernetic escapism, even though I still feel jealous and bad when I’m inside something like this. It’s pretty god though There is a talking robot, a big hub environment, and 4-5 various car showrooms with some interesting models and videos and narration.

! It ends at some point too. Can’t wait for the end. https://youtu.be/ynSRHCRGM7E

Eh, it’s cool I guess. I frequently play racing games (Forza Horizon) and it is interesting to see some of the Porsche cars fully modeled right from your room.

The only complaint from me is that you are able to move inside of things, which makes me go a bit bog-eyed.

It is good if you are looking for a short VR experience about cars though.

I’d recommend this.

The Train: Escape to Normandy

The Train: Escape to Normandy

The Train: A daring and deadly escape behind enemy lines!

August, 1944. The German stranglehold on Europe is slipping. The liberation of occupied France looms on the horizon. In an effort to escape the advancing Allied forces, the Germans begin a desperate evacuation of men, machinery and the spoils of war.

On the outskirts of Metz, a heavily armed train of the Third Reich sits sweltering in the dead of night. On board lies a secret cargo. Renoirs, Monets, Picassos – the entire plundered art collection of France – are to be smuggled to Berlin under a cover of darkness. Once in Hitler’s clutches, these priceless masterpieces could be lost to mankind forever.

Only you can stop it!

In The Train, you are a leader in the French Resistance. Your mission: capture the armored “war train” and successfully commandeer it through enemy lines for a rendezvous with the Allies at Riviere, Normandy.

With the help of a brave corps of Resistance fighters, you’ll engineer a WWII locomotive and engage in battle with enemy forces on land, air, and sea. Traps, ambushes and sabotage may await you at any station, any bridge or any crossing. Enemy planes will strafe you in heated pursuit. Gunboats can blast you right off the rails.

Shovel coal or shovel your own grave.

Ragtag Racing

Ragtag Racing

Ragtag Racing is a cheap, small file size, racing game on Steam, it is a super simple 3D Motorsport type game.

You can play in two separate views, in the driver’s seat, or from above/behind. I have never liked playing games from the driver’s perspective, so straight away I chose the above/behind viewpoint.

Race on a track, try to get from the back of the pack to the front and progress to the next track. Sounds simple! Well, it is and it isn’t. The most important part of the game is your fuel level. Run out of fuel and you are done.

The Ghost Train | 幽霊列車

The Ghost Train | 幽霊列車

Visually, this game is appealing. I feel like that’s the only pro I can mention. If you’re wanting a plot in this game then you will get a plot, just expect it to be a plot hole. Basically, all you do is go to the restroom in the train station, go to the smoking area, then ride the train until you reach the very end of the game. The puzzles were okay, but the last puzzle with the items you pick up was very confusing to figure out. If anyone is stuck on that… when you pick up the items (the cane, shoes, bug cage, windmill toy, and beer can) you set them on the train seat opposite of the reflection in the window in which character they belong to. It took me forever to figure it out. The endings weren’t as immersive as with the endings in The Convenience Store & Missing Children. Overall, decent game, but it gets a bit tedious for the time you spend playing it. I highly recommend playing Missing Children and The Convenience Store instead. Those are phenomenal, plot based, and wonderful atmospheric games!

This was my first game experience from Chilla’s Art and I got to say I wish it’d happened sooner, appearantly I’m an avid J-Horror fan and I didn’t even know it before crossing this game. I ended up reading Japanese urban legends at 4 AM in the morning- besides Kisaragi I guess

! the chase part is a reference to Teke Teke. Can’t wait to play the other ones.

My cons for the game is the walking/running speed and the fact that

! getting killed or not killed by the girl not affecting the ending type you get. And I can get the reason for low speed, building up tension etc. etc. but instead of that it just straight up frustrated me, drove me to boredom at first portion of the game. It felt repetetive and laggy, but after progressing enough and getting both endings the repetetive parts felt justified.

Train Life: A Railway Simulator

Train Life: A Railway Simulator

Train games are not exactly a highly competitive market so most are downright garbage. Train Life is not one of my favorites for good reason. A couple of the games I prefer are as follows with the first being a bit complicated to learn as it’s Korean and you need to make notes about what certain things are and how to do things. The second is designed for multiplayer, but, I and many others play solo. The first is Hmmsim Metro. The second is RAILROADS Online! Check those for better games.

A large update came out. I have made a couple deliveries in Germany so far and glitches have been much better. Animals don’t have faces glues to tracks. I’ll keep editing this as I play more and if it deserves it will change to voting up.

OK OK… First of all let me say I rated this title as “recommend” only because I think it has huge potential and, let’s face it… if $15 bucks is a deal breaker you’re in the wrong hobby. I usually don’t pay for something I haven’t gotten (my lesson was paying a landscaper for a whole job he was to do on a Friday and by Monday morning I discovered that he closed his doors and skipped town with my money) but I’m gonna make an exception in this case. For two reasons… first - It’s worth the $15 as is! Second - it allows the devs to buy groceries on their way home tonight and not starve before they finish the game.

cool game kinda glitchy at times sometimes when you go to complete the level there are enemy ships under the map and you cant get to them and you have to restart the game, also no ingame save feature only in the office area. graphics are so so you can more than likely play the game with integrated graphics because the graphics are very sub par.

I really enjoyed playing this game. It is just great fun to play. At the risk of showing my age it has the feel of the tv series ‘The Invaders’ with Roy Thinnes. Very similar to GTA but to the developers credit made with a fraction of the budget. The ‘world’ feels expansive and there is plenty to explore. I really like being out in the desert episodes best. The controls gets a bit clunky but that sort of adds to the fun. I will love to play it again on a better PC as I had to run it in windowed mode to help sort the lag. A few patches may well sort that out. I would be delighted to find out if there is a Agent Roswell 2 on the way or a least more episodes. Good game that I know I will be loading up again sometime in the future.

Armored Battle Crew [World War 1] - Tank Warfare and Crew Management Simulator

Armored Battle Crew [World War 1] - Tank Warfare and Crew Management Simulator

Nice little game once you get used to it. Was not sure about using WSAD keys for steering at first but once you are used to it replicates steering of WWI tanks perfectly. Mark V good choice for first tank as it was able to be steered by driver alone. Each different tank type has different performance and choice of guns. Tadpole good at crossing trenches but pig to steer and whippet fast but not as well protected. Like being able to upgrade guns, armour and engine etc as you play game and way tank performance varies depending on set up used. Would be nice to have German,French and Italian tanks as well. Armoured cars would be nice as well as used before tanks invented and armies got bogged down in trenches in Europe. Armoured cars used in middle east and in 1919 in Russia along with tanks by British helping White Russians fight reds. Would be nice to have tanks that were developed to late in WW1 to be produced in large numbers or get into action. Some pre WW2 tanks would be nice. (Thinking of Vickers independant). Seen complaint about not being able to communicate with other tanks and charge around like modern tanks. Not fair to compare early tanks with modern ones. Were slow and hard to even speak to crew in own tank and were prone to break downs etc. Really gives feel of being in WW1 tank and fun to play. Just keeps getting better with Rolls Royce armoured car being added and Troop carrying tank due in future plus tweaks to graphics and gameplay

Disclaimer - Early Access etc etc

I wasn’t instantly sold on this when I first saw it. It was ‘marketed’ to me by a third party youtuber on the grounds it was ‘Just Like Bomber Crew… but with TANKS’ and then proceeded to play the game very badly and give a complete false impression on what the game play actually was.

The difference - In My Opinion - between BC and ABC is that BC plays like a bit of a juggling act where you spend more time concentrating on keeping every crew member actually doing what you want and then missing the target because you were forcing the tail gunner to reload rather than looking down the bomb sight.

Car Detailing Simulator: Prologue

Car Detailing Simulator: Prologue

So i play another Simulator , and this one has a lot of “details”. Is good game to pass your Free time.

Pos:

“Everything” to need to know how to clean a Car.

Cons:

  1. When i start the game i had 2-4 FPS. I change HD 144Hz to HD 60 Hz, Close V-Sync and lower the option to high to have 50-70 fps. I think is wrond the code of Graphics.

  2. It has Key maping but not the choice to change ti mouse buttons,With windows 10 i have all time problem with middle mouse button to press (not to scroll) so thank god they had option for gamepad to use the menu bar to shop.

This was a fun game. Faster than Powerwash Simulator and is just a nice game for car lovers. Plus, the whole picture at the end is a really nice touch to check out your work and cars one might like. The detail is very well done; was surprised that upholstery included mats for in the car and the trunk. The gameplay and tutorial are straightforward, but at the end of the jobs, the wiping the water needs a bit of work. However, right click reveals what is missing, so that is a great help, plus zooming. Just a tip on that so that others do not get stuck: at end of job, use wipe, use to keep it clean, and right click constantly to find everything and then it should go smoothly. Average time spent per car was 10-20 minutes, so it is awesome for a nice chill break. Definitely worth a playthrough!
