Interference: Dead Air
It was an easy job. Terrible pay, but it was just you, the graveyard shift and your little security booth out in the middle of nowhere. You were planning on catching up on some bad horror movies on tonight’s shift, before reality became stranger and deadlier than anything on VHS.
The facility is overrun, enemies stalk the halls and the science team are in danger. Steer the story through fully voice-acted, branching dialogues. Get on the radio to provide support and direct survivors to safety, reroute power through the facility remotely and track the movement of scientists and threats.
Armed with nothing but your wits, a pin-board map of the facility, your two-way radio, an archaic computer and anything else you can find lying around in the booth, only you can provide support and save your best friend trapped inside the facility. Or you can just switch off your radio, put on a movie and tune out while the world burns. Just pay no attention to the explosions on the horizon.
Be Resourceful:
Just because you’re out of the line of fire doesn’t mean you can take it easy. Juggle radio conversations, tracking dangers on your map board and rerouting power through the facility. So long as the power stays on, you’re still in the fight.
Goof off:
Saving the day is overrated. You and the other security guards have stocked the booth to bursting with distractions and snacks. Put on a movie, heat up some microwaved goodies and chill. Who needs friends anyway?
A Soundtrack To Die For:
Tune into a collection of 80s-inspired synth jams on your FM radio when the stress gets too much for you. Just try not to relax too much.
Through The Loop:
A branching story designed to be played time and time again. Experiment, explore and discover multiple endings with dozens of variations.

Loretta
Loretta is a psychological thriller that would make the player an accessory to the heroine’s crimes and would lead her through a self-crafted nightmare. This story is about a woman, dealing with betrayal, her husband’s infidelity, relationships problems and difficult social situation of the 1940s.
Conceptually and aesthetically, the game is inspired by the American art of the twentieth century, the works of Andrew Wyeth and Edward Hopper, film noir of the 40s-50s, thrillers by Alfred Hitchcock, the Philip Ridley movie “The Reflecting Skin”, the books “1922” by Stephen King and “Lolita” by Vladimir Nabokov.
Story
The year is 1947. Lora and Walter Harris move to a farm, which used to belong to his parents. Walter is a writer and Lora is a housewife. Both are quite unsuccessful.
The family is going through financial difficulties. The situation is also complicated by the fact that Walter owes money to people from New York. And although the husband keeps it a secret from his wife, Lora has a suspicion. Moreover, she suspects him of cheating.
Lora understands that she gave up her job, her dreams and other opportunities for her failure of a husband she doesn’t even love. Now she is stuck in a cold empty house barely making ends meet.
As she struggles to make loan payments, she finds out that Walter’s publishing house has insured his life. In the event of his death, the insurance sum would be 30.000$. A plan is born in Lora’s mind.

Murder Diaries 3 - Santa’s Trail of Blood
Experience the Murder Diaries
In this game you abstractly follow the narration of a young man who slowly but surely becomes insane.
This leads you straight into the middle of an exciting murder case and a murder mystery unfolds while you listen to the testimonies of witness, friends and relatives.
The whole game is somewhat Christmas flavored - however, don’t get yourself comfortable, the game not going to give you a nice and warm feeling but rather confront you with a cold and harsh reality as the thrilling storytelling of the game will leave you with a cold shiver down your spine.
The game is a must have for any true fan of thrillers and anyone how enjoys a murder mystery that goes beyond the normal story telling.
How does the gameplay work?
You will play as a free-floating ghost like creature.
Basically, as the soul of someone who is experiencing the story.
You are very small in comparison to the surroundings and can fly freely through the area.
You start by exploring the area and enjoying the feeling of flying as well as the gentle yet mysterious background music.
Soon after starting to explore, you will find the first memory piece.
You can collect the memory pieces to continue with the story and to advance with the overall narration.
The story talks about a young boy, about his live and about how everything changes. It is setup as a thrilling murder mystery and acts as a contrast to the somewhat calm and enjoyable gameplay.
The first levels are quite straight forward but the further you advance the more surreal and abstracted the levels become.
Once you have finished a chapter by collecting all memory pieces and finishing the overall story of a level you will continue into the next chapter.
7 Lives
A game with a very complex story.
I really liked the plot it aproaches , leaves you with a lot of think about.
Also it’s multiple endings , which will change the experience.
And understanding that every choice has a consequence , a tragic one more often than not in this game , the concept of time and alternate realities is very interesting and 7 Lives aproaches it wonderfully , putting you in the skin of a character carrying a lot of tragedy in his shoulders and with the huge task of stopping the time flux before it ends him.

I have a hard time recommending this VN, although the price is not high it just does not seem worth it in the end. I played through both timelines and I had such a hard time following what exactly was going on due to the poor grammar.
I did enjoy the art in the game as well as the music though by the second playthrough I was kind of tired of it. I think if this game were given a proper translation it might be ok, but as it is I can’t recommend it.

Conway: Disappearance at Dahlia View
It’s a fun and interesting detective game.
Pros:
-
good voice actors
-
interesting rendering style, I love the subtle outline effect.
-
compelling and fresh gameplay. Every scene had something new and interesting.
-
probably the best lockpick mechanic in a game
Cons:
- I did find myself arguing out loud with the protagonist when he’d make blatantly wrong and biased observations, but after finishing the game I think that was an intentional character flaw to propel the narrative. It’s just frustrating to feel trapped by bad decisions the character is making without my input.

The third entry in White Paper’s portfolio brings back wonderful Ether One memories, not only because it references its setting a great deal, but especially because it shares the same approach to building its central character. Conway is the same type of main character you played in Ether One: he’s stubborn and determined and frail, especially frail, so frail that watching him on screen is almost painful: he can’t climb stairs, he blunders about from hotspot to hotspot, bumping into things and knocking stuff over all around him, he himself gets knocked out a few times during the investigation and you almost expect he won’t be up again, but being frail and moving clumsily mean nothing when you’re that stubborn and determined and he’s just as set on solving the case as Thomas Fletcher was on sorting out his mind in Ether One.

Human Origin
What is this game? It’s you watching and listening to a guy ramble on and on incoherently about subjects.
How to get achievements? Just load up the game and minimize. Chill out on the web for a couple of hours while achievements slowly roll in.

Manipulate: Sacrifice
Meh…
This indie-horror game is very bland. The game feels empty, the walking pace is horribly slow which takes this game longer to beat, the sub title text is incredibly small and goes a quickly making it hard to understand what the hell is going on at times.
Also the cut scenes are hilariously bad and often don’t make sense.
It’s a very easy, straight forward walking simulator and you can beat in about 1 hour if the walking speed wasn’t so painfully slow.

Pumpkin Eater
Pumpkin Eater provides an engaging and genuinely unnerving story that keeps the reader on the edge of their seat. Well written with great art.
