Path of the Martyrs is an excellent adventure!
The time I spent as Saiyato in the world of Delma was rewarding.
While battles proved somewhat easy, they were also a lot of fun. The combat and skill systems have depth, and fun realtime arcade elements in some cases that keep you on your toes. Resources are plentiful for thorough explorers.
The real challenge is the puzzles. Kazuki Takamura is a clever designer when it comes to these. There are many types of puzzle, and the difficulty level is a nice balance between frustration and satisfaction.

Dr. Dungeon’s MADMAN!
It’s a very, very uncertain thumbs up. HUGE WARNING: unless you’re extremely tolerant of 80s-era RPG elements - do not go near this one. It’s very, very, very old-school, and I don’t mean “Fallout-old school”, not even “Spiderweb Software-old school” - this is early 90’s picture with late 80’s RPG gameplay. And it’s really not a good thing. I’m only thumbing it up because it’s a valiant effort by a single individual to create an RPG, a task I failed at mayself several times, and the game isn’t even THAT bad - it’s just not good, either.

The Far Rings: A Space Opera Visual Novella
The Far Rings: A Space Opera Visual Novella is a nice, rather short but still quite interesting, atmospheric sci-fi visual novel. Plus, it’s free and has achievements, there’s a steam guide if you have some trouble finding them all. So, I’d definitely recommend to have a look at this novel.
There are just three characters in the story, including MC. But all of them are quite fascinating. MC’s sprite is cute, by the way, as art in general. I wish there were a gallery for CGs, I know there’re not many of them but it’s still a convenient way to check how many you still miss, need to achieve, to reach them later without searching in the game.

The Far Rings presents the player with an unexpected journey of personal discovery and a moral dilemma. Do you, as Doctor Athena, sacrifice members of one species to save another – when the two are at war – or try to find a way to save them both? Considering the relative brevity of this free to play offering, the development of the backstory to the situation that the player begins in is really quite laudable.
The game begins with the Doctor aboard a rescue ship piloted by her now-distant childhood friend, (who has become a member of the military responsible for a planetary invasion); having been recovered from a refugee camp which had been attacked by “freedom fighters” native to the invaded planet. Their only other sentient company aboard the ship is an alien captured during the rescue, who has admitted guilt to the murder of both medical staff and patients from the camp.

Solar Echoes: The Star Legation
STORY
Soon after the alien races began to explore outside their own star systems, they discovered each other. Hostilities grew into skirmishes and eventually, wars. However, some still desired peace. We’ve been taught that the Interstellar Union was formed in the year 1,023 LN. And we’ve been told of the human, Trey Donovan, who led the peace legation to unite everyone across the stars.
Details beyond that are varied and embellished, but we do have records of Trey’s past. This man, now considered a legend, was no diplomat. He grew up in entirely human-centric surroundings and had never ventured beyond human territories. He was banished to an exile colony after a dishonorable discharge from the military. He received no training for the peace legation that he supposedly led. Trey’s only known redeeming quality was his leadership and success in bringing law to a planet overrun with criminals.
How did this man travel to alien worlds and speak before powerful leaders? How was this human able to convince those alien leaders to send a representative with him to join the Interstellar Union? How did he survive the dangerous journey through space among an alien crew, several which were technically still at war with each other? There are still many unanswered questions about Trey Donovan and his journey across the universe. What really happened aboard that starship?

Titanfall - The Final Hours
The documentary itself is alright, the interesting part is reading about the crunch hours and trouble development of Titanfall 1 and how Respawn Entertainment had to deal with both the game & Activision lawsuit from unpaid royalties they wanted from MW2 at the same time. Back when MW2 came out, Infinity Ward got OG team/their key members booted by Activision and then those people went out & founded Respawn Entertainment.
But you probably get most of your $1 by using this as lowkey Titanfall 1 shortcut for Steam
