I was hooked from the start. Never have I ever had such a delightful experience reading interactive fiction, and I feel more open to trying similar games in the future. Sebastian, with his heart of gold and noble soul, stole my heart. The writing is so good. My only complaint is that I don’t feel there was enough build-up in Amaryllis' and Lou’s routes, they didn’t draw my attention to start with haha I’m happy I got to share sweet moments with Sebastian. He’s my definition of husband-material ❤

I really want to recommend it, but at the moment it’s unplayable unless you speak Chinese. Yes, it has subtitles but not enough, there are still entire segments that are in Chinese, as well as incorrect translations (IE: Characters naming you “Light” but then calling you “Wright”).
I’d strongly urge anyone who wants to play it to wait until it’s had more time to be developed and translated.

STORY
Soon after the alien races began to explore outside their own star systems, they discovered each other. Hostilities grew into skirmishes and eventually, wars. However, some still desired peace. We’ve been taught that the Interstellar Union was formed in the year 1,023 LN. And we’ve been told of the human, Trey Donovan, who led the peace legation to unite everyone across the stars.
Details beyond that are varied and embellished, but we do have records of Trey’s past. This man, now considered a legend, was no diplomat. He grew up in entirely human-centric surroundings and had never ventured beyond human territories. He was banished to an exile colony after a dishonorable discharge from the military. He received no training for the peace legation that he supposedly led. Trey’s only known redeeming quality was his leadership and success in bringing law to a planet overrun with criminals.
How did this man travel to alien worlds and speak before powerful leaders? How was this human able to convince those alien leaders to send a representative with him to join the Interstellar Union? How did he survive the dangerous journey through space among an alien crew, several which were technically still at war with each other? There are still many unanswered questions about Trey Donovan and his journey across the universe. What really happened aboard that starship?

Melodramatica
Very clunky. would probably be better as a top-down game, as character gets stuck in walls, walks EXTREMELY slowly, NPCs block you character, and makes it difficult to chase down the other characters to interact with. tutorial does not explain much either, having to walk frustratingly slowly around to figure out what needs to be done. eventually figured out that you needed to enter to top left room to assess a dresser to equip costumes - if this was not to be covered in tutorial prompts, at the very least, the rooms should be labelled clearly.

This game is obviously still in early access because there are some obvious areas that need some TLC, but looking at the rest of the game… I have no concerns that the team will fix these. It looks absolutely fantastic!! It’s worth playing this just to walk around the theatre, even if you don’t want to play the rest of the game lol. The art is so gorgeous.
The main thing you’re doing is just talking to your actors and sending them around to do things, which is fun because they all have their own personality. Some actors like some things more than others. But where it really shines (and what I want to spend hours on) is everything else leading up to the show. THERE IS CUSTOMISATION!!!! You get to dress up your actors which automatically makes this a good game. You get to craft stages for the shows you’re putting on. And watching the actual shows is ALSO super rewarding. Lots of really fun “small” things to do that lead up to the big performance.

Wraiths of SENTINEL
A very solid CoG - better than most. I really only have two criticisms for the story:
1. The romance wasn’t handled that well in my opinion. It’s very abrupt, especially with the Sorcerer, and with the limited character exploration of the romance optinos it feels empty.
2. I didn’t like the inclusion of the non-Wraith entities. Magicians, demons, etc. To me it makes the whole thing feel smaller. I get that the author is building a shared universe with MetaHuman Inc. (which is a good game), but… meh

I liked MC’s base wraith superpower, I think it was unique and cool. I don’t think it counts as spoilers since you’re introduced to this power at the very beginning of the game: you can walk through walls and other solid stuff (including people) like a ghost, and you are invisible to the human eyes which makes you the perfect spy. It’s cool to see that MC wonders about the extents of this superpower, like can you somehow pass through earth and so on.
There are a number of major choices (at least it looks like it) and different endings (I’ve explored 2 endings, at least). I felt like most of the choices I’ve made had some effect at later stages of the game which is good.

This game is a good buy for the family, it has alot of gameplay and can be played many times over. although one concern i have is that my wife left me and my kids have been taken from me, i believe this may be do to my obsession of feet and worship of my wives feet and my constant urge to lick her feet. as of now i play this game from the pc in the library of the asylum but it gets me going all the same!

Midnight: For the most part, Midnight takes a relaxed approach to life… though this doesn’t apply to certain things which he feels very strongly about. Sometimes he’ll slip up and remind you that he is indeed not “one of the young ones” but tries to hide this because he doesn’t want people to think that you can’t teach an old dog new tricks.
TwinTails: TwinTails is a peppy, vibrant girl who lights up the room… until you do something she doesn’t like. Her happy-go-lucky persona drops and is replaced with a scary woman. Still, one can’t help but be enchanted by her…
SamuraiStriker: Striker is a famous streamer. He started as a competitive player in esports but has long since watered down his content for his younger audience. Striker has a dual persona. On stream, he plays the part of a hero, trying to garner more attention and views. Off camera, he’s a little bit different. Which side will he show you?
HollyDay: Holly is a no-nonsense kind of woman. She’s focused on winning the battle royale and won’t let anything stop her. Being hyperfocused on the win leaves others thinking she has a chilly personality, but in reality, Holly is a caring and compassionate person. She just funnels that energy into being the best at what she does: winning battle royale games.
