Fight The Dragon
Its been very seldom in my PC-gaming life that I have discovered a true gem of a game. FTD is such a game. I will break it all down into three parts: single player, online play ( multi-player), and creative. But first one thing that strikes me from the start: the graphic design of the game is such that it will ( or should) run on low-end computers. The visuals are, for lack of a better term- quirky. Its like a cross between Legos games and LBW with a dash of WoW.
*Single player- In single player you go to an “adventure” screen where you can bring up an incredible assortment of maps to play on. It should be noted ( im guessing here) that over 90% of the availible maps are created BY OTHER PLAYERS. This is both a blessing and a curse: Player-made content is wide and varied. You may get a great and fun map; you may get one that was obviously made by a ADD 12-year old.

If you are into Indie games and like Diablo or similar titles,
it’s definetly worth buying.
it’s a no brainer as steam sale, but also worth the full price.
I have seen some minor negative reviews, who seem to ignore, this game is an indie game.
So keep that in mind and don’t expect it providing features or graphics like a AAA-game such as Diablo 3, etc.
Also at the beginning, you should use the filter and only play well rated adventures.
The battle system is relatively simple, although the RPG-aspects regarding your character (stats, abilities) are probably as complex as the ones in Diablo 3.

Nomads of Driftland
Very entertaining game with innovative mechanisms. I can recommend this title to all RTS and god game fans. It felt great to move islands around the world, discover new lands to unlock new units. Unlike in Driftland base game, this free expansion allows the player to manually control the units and does not provide multiple choices of buildings to build, which makes the player have to combine and explore new lands to diversify their kingdom.
Do not get discouraged by the maps order. It seems that it is sorted by mission type, and it felt little boring to play three defences in a row, but it gets better later on. However, be aware that the maps are challenging.

So much to do with the free content, I can only imagine what the game is like once you purchase it. So much potential. I’m a big fan of the Nomads aspect which feels more like an RTS to me. The base game is more economy and micromanaging but harder to deal with threats because it is so limiting on defense.

Dudes on a Map: Virtual Grid Paper
I can’t say enough about how great this tool is for helping with running my game! It’s simple to pick up and start playing with, without having to study tutorial videos. Easily import your own maps in jpeg form, and you’re on your way to having a great time with friends. There are some ‘fancy’ features, like having 2 different types of fog (one standard and one for secret areas you don’t want to accidentally reveal), marking up areas of effect, initiative tracker, add in your own monster/NPC tokens, and a dice roller (with the option of using symbol dice for different game systems). While these are great, you don’t need to use them if you don’t want to. I tired of trying to learn how to use other systems, and my experience of using dudes has convinced me that I don’t need to while still having a great time with my friends.

Been playing since the earliest Alpha releases. Also, for respectful reasons of this review, I did not get it for free but I am close to the creator so, anyone reading this, perhaps you’ll feel that there’s bias BUT, I will happily preface it at the top here first.
Dudes On A Map, for me, can be described as the easiest non-tech proficient program for playing RPG’s online with your friends. While some may say “Scoff, there’s not nearly as many tools and all these bells and all those whistles.” I would reply to them “Good, I don’t want all that and, to be honest, I don’t want to take a small 101 course just to get my games running.”

Fire & Reign
Fire & Reign is a fast-paced, challenging, reward-based shooter that combines classic shoot ‘em up gameplay with RPG elements. Blast your way through the action-packed story mode, and then hop online to see what other players have created.
Adrenaline-Fueled Gameplay
Shoot, dodge, and detonate your way through hordes of enemies and grow stronger with each kill. See if you can conquer Fire & Reign’s 10+ unique chapters, and if you survive you can turn on level modifiers or try Boss Rush mode.
Customize & Upgrade Your Warriors
Fire & Reign features multiple heroes, each with their own unique skills. Give your warriors the ability to slow down time, annihilate enemies with a barrage of missiles, or sink your points into shields or additional health for extra durability.
Level Creator
Go online to create and play custom levels using an intuitive editor. Choose an arena, come up with your own enemy formations, and alter their stats to make your stage as easy or as punishing as you’d like. Add level modifiers such as time limits or giving the player 1 hit point.
Game Master Engine
I would rate this programme. It is obviously still in Early Access still and I am a new dungeon master (DM) which means I am probably bias with how flashy this comes across.
I DM online (with a group of friends that are located in different cities) and primarily use this as a world map “top world/view/map (can’t remember what it is called)” and use the “battle map” for creating townships and combat arenas. I definitely do not use the bulk of the functions and the availability of models (animals, certain races etc) is still limited. I use the screen share option on Discord because this is what we use for our DnD group voice and text channels. It appears that the Dev’s are working on a multiplayer update but I probably will not use this function anyways.

It is important to keep in mind that this game is in Early Access, however I can confidently say that this game (“program” is a more accurate term) has an infinite amount of potential. The controls are currently quite clunky but with some playing around you can get the gist and begin to compromise. As a DM for 5 years this program has already helped me create our world as a 3D model and my players are ecstatic to see the alternate world they’ve been living brought to life. I still have some playing around to do but I have a few suggestions thus far:

Wyvern
This game is a revival of a 20+ year old game that maintains many of philosophies of old school gaming.
First thing first. This Game Is Hard. Hand-holding is new, and slowly being introduced to help the new generation of gamers, but for the most part you are going to have a hard time. Be prepared to get lost, be prepared to die. Be prepared to get confused. Fortunately, the community is very kind and is always willing to give you a helping hand.
Why is the game good? It allows nearly infinite customization. You can make your character into nearly anything you want - A Stone giant mage? We’ve got you covered. A blade-wielding ninjja pixie? Yup. A halfling who is demi-god and master of the elements that slays multiple foes at once with a combination of dragon breath and thunderstorms? You betcha. There is also an insane amount of replay value as you dream up unique combinations of characters and then create and play them to see your ideas come to life.

This is a great old-school, “open-world” game that has been around long before Steam. I’ve been a fan since 2007. I don’t know if I’d call it a MUD or an MMO anymore, but it fills a niche that other games just don’t seem to be able to these days.
In Wyvern, players train their characters by fighting monsters throughout the maps of the world, through randomly generated dungeons, and by performing quests for the NPCs of the world. Each level rewards skill points for a player to allocate as they please. There are a handful of races to chose from, and many skills to train that players can train at their own whim with skill points gained through levelling up, though meta skill builds do tend to be the most powerful.

Dungeon Of Dragon Knight
If a casual, grid-based, well-done dungeon crawler would have its standards that every other should follow or be better at - it would have been this one. Everything is done alright in the way we expect from the genre. And it is tasty, and it is good, and it is in a brand new dungeon. Incline!
–-
Simple but not stupid character generation that allows even for experiments such as 4 archers. Good enough real-time “side-stepping” combat. Exploration and finding secrets means meanigful rewards. The atmosphere is very good and brooding. Puzzles are kinda simple but not without the charm (I especially like how they intertwine with traps). Death is not around every corner, but things can surprise you quickly if you don’t pay enough attention. There is very likely no grinding here, all monsters are hand placed - or at least after 10 hrs of gameplay I haven’t encountered a respawning point or whatnot. The same thing goes for the treasures and the only thing that’s random is the gold amount found. You can spend gold in the shop (wo)manned by a lewd, humorous she-shopkeeper ‘:3

SHORT REVIEW.
Dungeon of Dragon Knight is a good solid dungeon crawler. If you like classic dungeon crawlers then this game is definitely for you but if they are not really you’re thing then probably best to give it a miss.
LONG REVIEW.
Dungeon of Dragon Knight is a good solid dungeon crawler with a decidedly “old school” feel despite being quite a modern game. The graphics and sound are up to modern standards and at the time of writing (about 18 months after release) the game is still being supported and updated by the developers.
