Verdun

Verdun

As game; which is built to give you fun; this game is quite hard to get into intianlly due to its ww1 and you can get shredded by the other side with mg13 spray the drops you body with weight of enough lead you now have scrap value to buy a new watch. But as simulator of WW1 warfare, probably it is the best you can get.its Extremely historically accurate, But this certainly is NOT battlefield 1 clone.

The maps are basically a mix of trenches and vegetation; there are no props, no embellishment; it is purely a wasteland with corpses, burned vegetation and relics of horses and tanks. In the middle of all of this; you and your team advancing toward objectives with no easy way to distinguish who is who.

Was almost dead for a while but it’s back to glory now. A lot of stuff got reworked, mechanics work more smoothly, and it’s just too much bloody fun. Get back in the trenches, cowards!

GHOSTWINTER

I think its a cool game for a $3 indie title. The scenery is very nice and it definitely puts you in the winter mood. It is very challenging but I’ve managed to get 17 of the 35 enemies so far, still haven’t made it to the T-Rex yet but I’m looking forward to finding it.

Excellent optimization and high quality graphics. Didn’t notice any flaws. Those who give negative reviews due to the fact that in a single-player game on the “Esc” key, the game restarts apparently did not read the detailed description in the upper right corner. High-quality control, many types of weapons, I liked the ability to save a character with a certain weapon and accessories that you can then choose. Various modes of multiplayer play, no monotony. I advise everyone!!!

One Shot

One Shot

One Shot is a pretty decent arcade-like top-down shooter which only gives you one bullet to kill your enemies. Although short, this is a neat pickup to fool the masses.

This is not go be confused with OneShot, the indie RPGMaker game where you guide a cat-like messiah named Niko through a world unfamiliar to them, to save it from an endless night, and a terrible fate.

Niko does not make an appearance in this game.

Considering this game was made for a game jam, and by a middle schooler on top on that, a lot of the shortcomings can be excused.

Poor hitreg - enemy hitboxes are around twice as big as they appear, could be intentional design.

Music does not loop after a while.

Enemies come one by one if you’re quick enough to kill them, which with the enormous hitreg is easy.

Shooting itself feels satisfying enough, with healthy amounts of screenshake and effects.

But then again this is like 2 dollars. Small time killer when you can’t decide what your lazy ass wants to play. Pick this up if you want to spend a couple minutes clicking shapes.

Suit for Hire

Suit for Hire

This is the best non-turn-based John Wick simulator. Running around face shooting and doing gun fu and knife takedowns never gets old. My only complaint would be the difficulty, but for me that just makes it have more value as I play a level over and over trying to beat it. Some might get frustrated, though, at going all the way back to the beginning of each level when you die.

Each level gives you a set location and group of badguys to take out, usually on your way to some kind of objective, even though there is no story at present to give any meaning to the killing. That is fine with me, but it might urk some. They are planning to add cut scenes, though, so for now, make up your own story about how the people he’s going after killed his car and stole his dog right after his sister died or something.

The combat for this game is well executed.

It rewards you with a full magazine for landing 7 back-to-back pistol shots.

Missed some of your shots? No problem, the game encourages you to mix it up with a close quarters option as a stylishly fancy way of getting more ammo for your pistol.

Performing an up close finisher on an enemy gives you a full magazine in your pistol. In order to have a chance to do a finisher you’ll need to build up a meter using punches and kicks.

Punch and kick are on 2 separate buttons, this is important to take note of because kicking objects towards enemies (including grenades) is a mechanic in the game.

Destructivator 2

Destructivator 2

Quick Description:

-Destructivator 2 is retro throwback action platformer that is guaranteed to bring you back to gaming in the 90’s. This game is just as brutally challenging as old school games were but there are plenty of modern quality of life improvements sprinkled throughout this gem. This is a great game for those looking to bring themselves back to the good old days of arcade platform shooters.

What’s Good:

-Really easy to learn but there is a really high skill ceiling. This is a game on the surface that appears very simple and that is one of it’s strengths. Your only goal is to kill all enemies while shooting a NES contra-style gun and avoiding damage at all cost, that’s it. As you progress, you will face increasingly difficult challenges that push you to master these fundamental mechanics.

Holy cow!!! If you love retro gaming, this is the game for you! Destructivator 2 captures the very essence of what it means to be “retro”! Great pixel art, tons of action, and crazy difficulty! Unlike a lot of patty cake games today, games back in the day didn’t hold your hand, give you a trophy and a popsicle, pat you on the back, and say “good job” No sir! They kicked you in the teeth, stomped you while you were down and wouldn’t let up! All of that made you tougher and made it feel sooooooo good when you finally beat the game! If you want hours of fun and a true retro “golden age of gaming” experience, then you MUST get Destructivator 2! I’m an indie game tester, and this is one of the best I’ve played!

Galactic Solo Command

Galactic Solo Command

Prepare Your Ship!

Your crew has disappeared from the ship and it’s a long way home. You have managed to configure the ship on automatic but you have a very limited amount of fuel. You will be forced to make several well timed jumps to make it home before your fuel runs out. In order to survive you will need to upgrade the"automatic" configuration of your ship in order to defend it against the aliens that may lie between you and home.

Galactic Solo Command is now available in 11 languages! English, German, Spanish, French, Italian, Arabic, Portuguese, Russian, Japanese, Korean and Simplified Chinese.

In Galactic Solo Command you experience the atmosphere of running a spaceship while trying to return home after the crew has mysteriously disappeared. It’s a very dangerous trip, with every jump presenting a challenge with life or death decisions. What will you upgrade first?

System Include: Auto-Pilot, Sensors, Shields, Medical, Doors, Weapons, Life Support and Engineering.

Your weapon system provides greater offense and will eliminate the enemy ships more efficiently. However, perhaps you should upgrade the shields in order to stop the enemy barrage. Preventing the enemy from damaging your ships system will be critical because you will begin to lose your precious configurations while the systems are down.

The upgrades will require more power and if you overload the system you can expect bad things to happen to your ship. All the while knowing that the enemy will attempt to board your ship and kill you so they can take home this prize. This “spaceship simulation” allows you to take your ship on a perilous trip to get home. With ever increasing difficulty you should be prepared for the worst. See your results on the global and friends leaderboard.

Key Features:

  • Strategic Gameplay - Decide what systems to upgrade and first.

  • Risk leaving damage unattended in order to pursue additional upgrades.

  • Place an emphasis on defense and risk the boarding parties ever growing size to overtake you before destroying the enemy ship

  • Three diverse alien races with class specific weapons and skills.

  • The Galaxy between you and home consists of three sectors with three jump points each. Additionally, you will find three outposts where you can supply and repair. The final conflict will be the federation battle who are blockading Earth and will attempt to stop you from getting home.

  • Time is of the essence and you may not linger. Your jumps are timed and will provide you a short rest between battles in order to recover your ships' systems before engaging the Warp Drive!

  • Points are scored by accomplishing mission critical tasks and eliminating the enemies in a timely fashion.
