Uncraft World
After seeing Rooster Teeth do a video on this, I bought the first two Uncraft Me! games on the Xbox 360 a couple years ago and found them addictive, despite (or because of) the challenge and the “reward” (wink wink) at the end of each level. So, you could imagine my happiness when I found this game had finally been ported to Steam.
I have found that the game plays easier when using a game controller, like that for the Xbox One. I would not recommend using a keyboard to play this game, or you will find yourself having a much harder time controlling your character, thus causing you to die multiple times, and not beat the level until 20-30 minutes later.

UPDATE: In 2019 I tried to play the game again and saw I was missing 1 skin. Went to the forums to learn where it is unlocked and instead learned that the developers of this game have given up on development. Not in so many words, but that is the long and short of it. So it’s going to be in early access forever.
DO NOT BUY THE GAME.
Ok so after “finishing” the last 2 levels I’m happy to say that I would not recommend this game anymore.

Haydee
Haydee is a niche game.
There’s a lot of games that are just “not for everybody”, and Haydee fits the bill. Most of the attention regarding the game is about the design of the protaganist. If you like THICK android girls with massive assets that jiggle with her gait, then you’ll probably be all for it.
But I play Haydee for the game. A quick glance at the achievements stats shows that less than 3% of people who have played Haydee have even beaten it. Most players haven’t even passed the tutorial.

Haydee is without a doubt an interesting game. Interesting for many reasons but the main reason is the Main Protagonist. I never feel it is truly necessary to justify the use of anything, including copious amounts of sexuality, however justification certainly helps to make the medicine go down. Haydee really makes no effort to justify its sexuality, it’s just there. It’s merely the coat of paint on top of the underlying game, of which the underlying game is quite solid. I would say it’s almost unfair to judge the game too harshly on it, it would make no difference if the game featured a blue giraffes as the protagonist, but if anything, there in lies the issue. I always say if you’re going to commit to something, fully commit and don’t look back. The games is not really built on a foundation of sexuality it merely bares it’s banner. The game doesn’t have you fighting hoards of sex crazed robots. It doesn’t have you having sex with them to quench their insatiable desire nor is it lavishly adorned with phallic and yonic imagery at every turn. The game I just described would be far more interesting if only for the wrong reasons.

Otokomizu~漢水~
This game is an absolute delight. It is a cheap game though and I would only recommend it at a price point of around 10 bucks. I paid 13.50 CAD and feel it was money well spent.
You need a particular mindset going in, however. Things you should know about the game.
It’s comprehensible, but it’s not super well translated.
Movement and control are very tricky, and take a while to get used to.
There is almost no animation in the game. Characters will rotate, but there’s very little moving of limbs and stuff.

Kusoge.
+Learning to correctly orientate your character and effectively using the different poses is fun for a bit.
-There is not much in terms of a story.
-Be prepared for this playing the exact same song over and over till you are sick of it.
-Certain levels will be frustrating in difficulty.

The Void
Oh boy, where to start. That’s a big one. That’s a huge one.
The Void is a game about… Well, this is what I meant when I was wondering where to start. The Void could be considered to be a game about many things. The feeling I got after a few hours in was “wow, this goes deep”, and that feeling only got stronger and stronger the more I played. I experienced something similar while playing Pathologic, another amazing game from Ice-Pick Lodge : a very unique universe, brutally unforgiving in terms of both gameplay and story, which immediately sucked me in, in a much deeper, more “personal” way than anything I had ever played before, and I mean that.

This is one of those Slavic games that wants to be a big “Tim Burton on acid” surrealist trip. Nothing is really explained directly, just implied, but the notes of implication are too heavy-handed for you not to realize when something is supposed to mean something.
The story revolves around your character either dying or at least being on the verge of dying, and passing through “limbo”, although maybe you’re just inside your own mind during your dying moments. The Void itself is shaped like a heart, and each “cycle” of the Void involves an additional heartbeat of the Void itself, so, again, the metaphor isn’t exactly explicit, but it’s far from subtle.

XXZ: XXL
I think the game is in an ‘ok’ level.
However, I also think the game could become better if the folks from L. Stotch could make the game a little easier to play.
Other things I could possibly suggest for improvement and/or to make it more interesting would be:
-
To add some writing to the game’s instructions. Because, images alone may not be enough for the players to understand how the game is played;
-
To give the game a story mode with animated cutscenes. Since there’s two playable groups of three, I suppose each of them would have their own adventure, obstacles to avoid or overcome, and zombies to beat. Also, speaking of a story mode, it could show how the infection began, and the first few people who had fallen to it. By the way, L. Stotch could animate the cutscenes in the same way as they did to the game’s trailer, or they could make it in comic book style. With speech and thought ballons, narration lines, and add sound effects to make it more realistic;

What interested me in this game was the art tbh. Then I realized it was a match 3 type game and had to give it a try. After trying out the free version i instantly fell in love with the gameplay. Took a little at first to figure out what i had to do in the free version but once i figured it all out it was amazing, so i just HAD to buy this one. It’s exactly like the free game just with more levels. I took my time and tried to enjoy the game as much as possible but unfortunately i beat it and that was that.

Safety First!
I guess you could you say that I came at Safety First with a bit of cynicism. At first glance one will think this is just YouTuber scream bait, QWOP style game that is more about pee jokes and arms being ripped off more then about a fun game. For the most part my cynicism was not incorrectly misplaced, it is all those things but despite that this game still actually manages to be kind of addicting, fun, and rather challenging in clever ways. I was pleasantly surprised to find myself not just chuckling at my “Magical Yellow Repair Liquid, (MYRL)” but also impressed with some clever level design and moments where I felt like I had actually accomplished something.

Safety First:
Well, isn’t it a bugger to become an old fart (I am definitely heading that way); your bones ache at every angle, your vision is blurred even with your quadruple glasses. Thank God your hearing aid is working perfectly when you remember to turn it on! You would not believe what happened to my grandma! She forgot to turn on her hearing aid one day (the day of her favourite radio show); she turned up the volume so high on her antique radio and managed to damage stacks of power cables from the nearest power plant. Don’t worry grandma, I am the greatest electrician around and I can repair anything that comes my way. . . But I think we should put “Safety First!”

## XXZ
I thought I had already written a review for this game..
Anyways, it starts quite bad. Xxz isn't the most beautiful title one can think of, and it doesn't explain nothing.
The game consists of a completely stupid match-3 basic grid and the rest yeah, it goes along the game hashtags: zombie, nudity, sexual content..
Needless to say, graphics are completely awful, not to talk about the soundtrack and effects.
For what concerns the actual gameplay, I had to refer to a great guide you can find here on Steam written by Maestro for a simple reason: the game doesn't give you a proper tutorial, but rather uses some arrows thinking that you will get magically to know everything.

### "It's necrophilia!!!" Who cares?!
Yeah…I said it. People complain that this game is about people who get hardons about dead or undead girls...big whoop. I have a frankengirl OC and she's bae!
_XXZ_ (made by the developer of _DED_ and _Bloody Walls_) is a basic match-3 puzzle game that implements battle and strategy between your 3 units and enemy units, which is an interesting concept, but lacks on the execution. It has some nice eye candy and each level rewards you for completing your battle against these Zom-baes with some often lewd pics…except for a few times where you don't get an image...which is rather disappointing.

## Zeran's Folly
For me, the selling point is the dialog. It's full of innuendos, wit, and charm, delivered from a cast of diverse and enjoyable personalities. I found something to enjoy with all of the party members and many of the NPCS as well. Despite the lewdness of some scenes, the story as a whole still manages to be heartwarming and enjoyable in its own right.
The gameplay is great too. All of the characters feel great to control, and getting talents (mostly) feel rewarding for giving you even more options. I rarely felt like character talents were a waste of G, the only exception really being some of Marco's, though thankfully one is always free to toogle off a talent.

An enjoyable 2D adventure action game, Zeran’s Folly has been a surprise hit to me. This is a mature game, in that it has quite an unfiltered approach to its writing that is for an adult audience. For me, the writing had a nice mix of dark humor, mature scenarios and feel-good moments. Not only that, the gameplay is a fluid experience of platforming action to get through a variety of levels with distinct thematic looks and enemies. The accompanying music has a healthy mix of various melodies, such as soft and hard rock, each heard in appropriate settings. Overall, this made for a great and memorable time that I would recommend given one isn’t easily offended. After all, one can try the non-updated base game for free on the developer’s website to get a feel for it.
