Incredibly amazing game. The movement of the character is a lot of fun and every boss and mechanics in the game are really surprising. The levels that you can jump on the monster’s head in sequence were very well thought out.

A pretty good platformer. I really like this unique aesthetic and gameplay concept where you can’t see the enviroment, so you have to move and jump to splash ink revealing the obstacles and platforms.

Black Closet is one of my favorite games. The characters are interesting and sometimes complex, the story is entertaining and contains some interesting branches, and the gameplay is a really fun application of resource management to solve mysteries.

Elsa, the player character, is the president of the student council and must strategically deploy her “minions” (the other student council members) to resolve various crises so that their fancy private school remains respected while also trying not to ruin the student council’s reputation with the rest of the student body. These crises vary from mundane (the daughter of someone important might be failing a class) to serious (a student has gone missing). You need to assign the right minion for various investigative tasks that match their personal skills (for example, you don’t want to send the nice friendly girl to yell at a culprit or send the introvert to gather info via a friendly chat with a suspect) while also balancing your minions' needs because they will be temporarily unavailable if their workload causes too much stress. The cases are randomized, so this is great for replayability!

This game…wow. So much can be said about this game. I can’t get enough of it! Here are a few main categories to sum up just some of the many amazing things about this spectacular game:

The Gameplay: The dungeon randomization makes every year and every life unique, and it is up to your wit and problem solving to decide how to best craft and cluster the right items in order to get to the children. Sometimes the game can be UNBEARABLY HARD, but you still push on ‘til you die or have to return to town without having saved all the children. Many of the negative reviews I see have to do with the difficulty of some of the dungeon generations, and yes, it CAN get infuriating! But there’s nothing wrong with just starting a new life -I did it several times and got amazing careers afterward.

I´ve been playing this game for the last month and the more I do, the more I like it. It is a good puzzle game with a storyline that is actually consistent throughout! The graphs are super cute, the music and sound effects are great, the character interactions are very nice too (and the characters looks vary on each career).

Your choices have an effect on the outcome of the game: everything -from how many kids you decide to save to what gifts you give and what relationships you build with whom or what bonuses you decide to use- determines what pluses you´ll get and whether you´ll end up your career more or less successfully.

I played the game for over hundreds of hours through various builds and i can say, the dev team behind it are so awesome and nice and worked their butts of to work on it day and night.

And i love pretty much everything about the game. It is fast, precise, has a banger OST and awesome graphics and is just awesome to play!

If you’re a fan of fast-paced, action-based 2D platformer and leaderboards, get it. You won’t regret it, especially if you’re a fan of speedruns.

Fun platformer with a great visual style and awesome music to boot. It always feels like there’s ways to go faster when you’re speed running and with 100 levels to play, this game offers a high replay value to continually improve. Even if you’re not a speed runner, this game offers a lot of hours of fun and is even better with a friend. Dev team is also great and values the community. Hope to see more tournaments/events in the future!

wow… this is the best $7 I ever spent on a video game. I didn’t expect I would love this game so much, I love all the puzzles, and how interactive everything there is. There’s so much stuff in the game to interact with, and lots of dialogue to get from interacting from Puro or things around the room. The setting of this game is also really cool to me, it’s a post apocalyptic world where everyone has turned into furries, and when you get “transufurred” there’s artwork and scenes where you get to watch it all happen, dying in this game is like art, there’s something new with each death, I really liked that. I love Puro, getting to talk to him and make a bond with him going through the game. I highly recommend this game, it’s only a few dollars and I enjoyed it way more than I thought I would

This is a really fun game! Do NOT play this if you don’t like furrys, or do, its about trying to survive and NOT become a furry. Anyway, its a fun, difficult, angering puzzle game that I’ve have meltdowns about several time! its great and I would fully recommend this game! Also, Try not to destroy you computer while playing this game.

Choice Chamber

Choice Chamber

This review is from the perspective of a streamer ( twitch.tv/aazzdos ) and someone that has reached Room 475.

Choice Chamber is a platformer. Your objective is to clear a room of all enemies in order to proceed to the next one. The defining difference between this game and others in the same genre is that your Twitch chat votes on how the next level will be different, from the terrain to the enemies to your very own weapon. Voting follows majority rule, and chat has almost full power over how a run will go.

Real player with 95.7 hrs in game

Okay, so there’s an obvious caveat to my recommendation here. This game is for streamers, and pretty much only for streamers. This game won’t get you an audience, either. But if you livestream, and you already have an audience—even a small one—then this game is fantastic. It’s not the most fun game of its kind, and can occasionally get repetitive… especially if your chatroom decides to troll you and keep you underpowered. But it always seems to be the case that as one slowly improves at the game, their stream community follows suit. I often point out and even pick on users of the “streamer ‘we’”, but this is one game where it really does apply—it really is not just the gamer but also the spectators that are making progress, and for the streamer to say “we’re in there” or “we made it” is, at last, not at all disingenuous for this game. This game is clearly for a very limited demographic, but if you fit that demographic, Choice Chamber should serve you quite well.

Rhythm of the Gods

Rhythm of the Gods

For $9 it’s an alright game. The music and graphics are quite charming but there aren’t many levels and half of the songs are remixes. The story can be boiled down to some young gods throwing parties because it’s what they love to do. The difficulty scales pretty fast but at no point does it feel like an unreasonable jump in difficulty from one song to the next. There is an endless mode and a timewarp mode that adds a speed multiplier to the songs for added difficulty so in that regard it’s a good game if you want something challenging. The ending leads me to believe the developers might release more games in the series but that’s just speculation until proven otherwise.

A Great, But Rather Short Rhythm Adventure

Rhythm of the Gods, as you can probably tell from the title, is a rhythm game where you have to make your way through a slew of enemies and obstacles while following the music of several different gods that you meet along the protagonist, Lyrik’s, journey.

The Good

-Although short, the story of the game is rather charming, and I liked reading through the dialogue the game had to offer.

-The gameplay is simple, but can be very challenging depending on what difficulty you set.

Oh my god, this is one of the best games I have ever played. Actually, scratch that, this is one of the best games available on steam. This game was perfect from prologue to epilogue, and it was fair yet absolutely brutal. The story was so goddamn immersive and sometimes comedic; this game was an emotional roller-coaster. It also has an assist mode that encourages usage if the default game is inaccessible, instead of making fun of you like so many other games do. I had tons of fun, however, I haven’t beaten chapter 8, b sides, c sides, or chapter 9 yet. I will write more reviews of those chapters/sub-chapters once I beat them.

Simply a delightful platformer. A masterclass at level design. The core mechanics are so well made that i found myself craving for content even after 90+ hours. You keep learning new ways to overcome obsticles which makes this game infinitely replayable. Incredibly beutiful presentation and a simple, yet very touching and relatable story. If you don’t buy and play this game right this instant i am going to come to your house and steal tour shoes.

The MISSING: J.J. Macfield and the Island of Memories

It’s not often to discover the games that manage to tie concept, world design, and story together perfectly. It may fly under people’s radar because of weird preview trailer and self-harm concept that could be very sensitive for someone. “The Missing” is a puzzle-platformer game with story driven narrative developed by White Owls Inc. which is directed by Hidetaka Suehiro (a.k.a. SWERY).

Real player with 14.4 hrs in game

The gameplay isn’t super spectacular or anything but it’s good enough and a good execution of the concept, there’s just a few hiccups (a pretty cryptic puzzle, Route 65 is a bit bugged, in my playthrough i clipped through 2 different walls, one of those instances was a softlock, some achievements sometimes not working properly) If your’e a fan of other 2D puzzle platformers you’ll probably like the gameplay, the movement is very limbo

If the heavy concept of this game isn’t something you aren’t sure you’d be able to handle, do be cautious, the warnings on the store page are very well warranted
