BE-A Walker

Be warned, im gonna include a few spoilers here and there in the review, if you dont want to see them, skip this review

I saw some gameplay from a youtuber and i was immediatly attached to this game, i played the demo and had a ton of fun, even just being 2 missions, it was still very fun (but i did have my problems with the overheating, however it has been fixed with the patch so i guess it can slide) i did have my problems with the walking since it had a QWOP feeling but i learned it after a bit and slowly started to master it and it wasnt that bad to learn.

BE-A Walker is a sidescrolling re-enactment of the plot of James Cameron’s Avatar. You pilot a bipedal mech across the surface of an alien planet blasting and stomping on the natives as you go. Except you do that exact same thing…. repeatedly. For the whole game.

This game is definitely fun for a bit, but every mission is pretty much the same, broken up occasionally with a ‘walk through the base without stepping on the blind scientists’ mission or ‘walk through a minefield’ mission, which mostly just slow the game down, without improving it much.

This is a great game for someone who has some time on their hands and likes to figure things out. Each section of the game has its own rules, which provides for a good deal of variety. It has a pleasant atmosphere throughout and is contemplative as opposed to action-packed. A lot of bang for the buck at $16.

If you want to get your ass handed to you by a gentle sweet game with calming music and the meanest puzzles I’ve seen in a while, by all means try this game out. This really itched a part of my lizard brain I that I had been missing from other puzzle games.

Downsides are: 1) It can be frustrating and tricky to figure out all of the rules at first (due to some differing door varieties and etc) and 2) it’s not easy to figure out the “plot” of what all doors to open and how close you are to being finished…. but overall definitely persevere if you’re a puzzle junkie like myself.

This game has become one of my favorite games to date, to be completely honest with you. I hope so much the developer continues work on this game. It’s addictive, fast-paced, and rewarding once you finally get far enough to “become devil”. It’s worth playing.

This game just keeps pulling you back in, after I played some levels and failed even more it started growing on me. I kept wanting to reach the next level and when finally doing so it was really satisfying. It just got even more challenging with each new world and mechanic that got introduced. The design is clean, great use of colours and nice music you can dig while grinding. Really enjoy it!

Sudoku3D 2: The Cube

Possibility to choose size of cube from 3^3 to 9^3.

The choice of complexity from 1 to 9 (a certain analogue of the probability of an empty cell from 10% to 90%).

As the level of complexity increases, several solutions appear, but only the one that was originally generated will be true!

Since In this version of Sudoku there is a choice of size, the rule of small composite squares 3x3 as part of a full 9x9 does not actual.

There are ghost cubes that confuse and turn the numbers. Although, thanks to the scanner, they are easily detected. The scanner is available only once in the current session, which trains the photographic memory well.

HyperDot

HyperDot

I love this game! :D

Hyperdot is a polished minimalist take on the dodge em' up genre. What I love about it is that it doesn’t force you to feel revved up. Any adrenaline surge you get from the game is purely from the (very real) challenge of the gameplay and not from headache-inducing dubstep like some other games of its genre. Hyperdot features a soundtrack that, like the visual design, is decidedly both crisp and smooth, and somehow allows the game to feel both relaxing and high-stakes. The visual aesthetics change with each level, keeping the game feeling fresh as you progress. Most importantly, the gameplay never feels repetitive. Each level finds new and creative ways to keep you on your toes using different enemies, power-ups, and modifiers. I find myself thinking I’ll just play one more level, and half an hour later I realize I’m still playing. Despite how enjoyable the game is, Hyperdot does not waste your time. Because each level is a short (but difficult) challenge, it’s a game that’s easy to step in and out of, whether you’re playing for 5 min or for 2 hours in a sitting. Other things to note:

HyperDot is SO MOREISH!!! So challenging, but it never feels punishing. It constantly makes you feel like you’re GOOD at it while also failing… a lot??

Love the fact it’s SO accessible too, from every perspective - audio, visual and cognitively. So many good little design points that telegraph gameplay and the game has a wonderful self contained language for mechanics so that even when they evolve they almost instantly make sense.

Finally, the music and sound design is beautiful, relaxing, dancey, and subtle!

Yes. The best. Thumbs up

Real player with 15.6 hrs in game

A real good follow up to the answer. It adds more complex layers of the button swapping which keep the gameplay fresh and interesting. The soundtrack is a fitting choice again and this time the game is split into many smaller levels instead of one long run which does make for a little bit more manageable obstacle training and also keeps the early stages from becoming boring as you master the easier difficulties. With a bit of insanity and a nice little catch at the end an overall well rounded sequel.
