Defense high
–Update 2–
2021-06-06
I finally took the time to finish the game. Achievements 3-8 don’t trigger even if you flawlessly finish a level. What’s up dev?
DO NOT BUY THIS unless you want a partially finished game.
–Update 1 –
5 Levels completed, achievements 3-5 not triggering, yet somehow there are players that have them? Verifying the integrity of game files doesn’t seem to help. It seems like the game is abandoned by the developer…
Major issues:
- It seems like some towers with “abilities” do nothing? After testing them all it is unclear that the freeze and explosion ones do anything obvious. Maybe they buff towers around them?

Easily the worst tower defence I have ever played
So I played the first 3 levels and every single one of them I won by just using tower number 4 the sniper tower. And I couldn’t be bothered to waste my time playing the other 5 levels but I am 100% sure you can beat the game just by spamming that one tower. And it’s not even close, I would have 10,000 gold and probably a hundred towers and just watch the enemies die. There is a wasp thing that blows up towers which might be frustrating in a more balanced game but I could literally just build infinite towers.

Super Hexagon
Minimalist perfection.
You can only go left, go right, or do nothing at all. That’s all of the options you have.
This game pushes this minimalistic rendition of dodge to the utter maximum.
The game starts out hard and doesn’t get easier, but getting better at the game is incredibly rewarding. Your mistakes are always your own, your high score often just barely out of reach.
The game doesn’t ever let up in terms of ramping difficulty, but also doesn’t get tedious or boring.
You’ll first just have to dodge simple obstacles coming at you, then learn patterns to deal with complex obstacles, while the game just gets faster and faster.

DUNKYPUNG
This is the kind of game I unwind with in my bed, with my Steam Link and Xbox Controller, until my eyes can’t stay open any longer.
And you get to hear Nathan Meunier say the word “pung” a lot. What’s not to like?

One of the worst hardcore games i’ve ever played. Completely luck-based, specially the last stages. I have some videos that proof how impossible is to escape of some situations, in case anyone is interested. Also, that intenste yellow color is really annoying after a long time playing. The best of this game? His Steam page, at least the dev have some humour.

GIF: The Game of Inevitable Frustration
This is a great game that is also very challenging!!!

A fun game! Challenging from the start, even for those with plenty of platforming experience, though that’s implied by the title. Looks good, friendly art style, audio taunts start to grate after a while but thankfully these can be switched off.

Battle Ram
It’s a good game but I have some suggestions.
1. Maybe add a “are you sure” screen when you click the delete progress to prevent people accidentally deleting progress by clicking the wrong thing. Happened to me, not a big deal but it would be nice to have that.
2. Maybe some levels could be themed instead of just the usual level. Examples: Christmas (snow), Halloween, space, etc.
3. Add a level creator so people can create their own levels and beat them so that the game doesn’t get boring when you beat it.

In a very secret laboratory, the perfect weapon was being developed. And as a result of numerous experiments, scientists brought out a powerful creature - the Battle Ram. And now the ram must be tested at a military training ground. He has to fight robots.
So what exactly is Battle Ram? This is a lamb that runs around the arena. The character is controlled with the mouse. And all he can do is butt, he has no secret weapon. Actually, this is his main and only skill. The character runs around the arena, colliding with opponents. The musical accompaniment in the game is very cheerful and rhythmic. The game supports Russian.

Core Defense
Very well-designed Tower Defense game that also incorporates active elements (abilities which you can “cast” after a cooldown) and a random reward mechanism (“choose 1 out of 3”) after each wave of enemies.
This means that all upgrades and additional abilities/towers are basically randomized but you get to choose one out of a random selection (which still allows for a lot of choice), and the randomness is also tailored to what you already have,
so there won’t ever be a completely useless upgrade up for selection.

So adding a review after testing a bit of the new DLC.
The game is difficult, punishes small mistakes immediately and is addictive to a point. The amount of hours I have despite the lack of content beyond “now do it again but slightly harder” speaks to how quick it is to fire up a new game and carry on.
Prior to the DLC an update added a feature I’d been looking for to speed up to 5x so I could quickly go through waves where I don’t have to take an active part, but along with this patch the game has started to run very slowly. Not something I’d expect from something that looks like a decade old flash game.

The Impossible Game
Probably my favourite game in the list of hyper-difficult platformers on Steam, The Impossible Game uses a simplistic art style with equally simple mechanics which work well together to create an enjoyable, addictive and challenging game, it also holds the “excellent soundtrack” trophy like many others of the same genre. The PC version also comes with a level editor which is a really nice addition and gives the game some more playability.
The objective is simple, jump, clear and doge oncoming obstacles and reach the end of the levels without dying. Sounds easy enough, but the short time window which you have to make your decision on whether or when to jump or not makes things incredibly difficult, though sometimes equally frustating.

After some time i had to change my mind about my vote…
i really looked forward to try that game myself and had to wait like 3 years or even more to finally arrive on my favorite plattform, the pc as i don’t like to play on my android phone or sit in front of my tv to play. i use my spare time after working on the pc and what did i get for my 5 bucks? a unfinished port it seems. the music and the game itself is visually the same beside the unecessary blure all over it with no option to turn it off.

NeoBalls
You get what you paid for, 2K achievements at minimum price. If you’re an achievement hunter looking to increase the number of achievements on your profile showcase, then I highly recommend buying this. Else don’t waste your money. This is not a game, it’s just a way of distributing achievements.

Amazingly fun experience! The gameplay is really pleasant, addicting and fun, you can play for hours trying to beat the machine and once you get it you still want to play to beat your score and be the number 1 on the leaderboard! Im quite sure there are many secrets in this game…will you find them before me?
