Devil Slayer - Raksasi
”A Polished and Challenging Top-Down Melee Roughlike in Dark Eastern Fantasy”
Devil Slayer - Raksasi is more than a common top-down roughlike that follow soul-like mainstream with bunch of waifu characters. The game is heavily inspired from well-known The Binding of Isaac and high-risk high-reward combat melee like Hotline Miami. Raksasi is developed by indie studio called GlassesCatGames (3-man team).
Chosen Heroes of The Prolonged War
The game sets in the event after the ancient times; the war between mankind created by god’s experiment and demons that used to control the earth. You play as dying Byleth, female warrior who was recovered and helped from battlefield by mysterious figures. They see your true potential to complete ultimate goal; slaying demons.

A weird melee-focused roguelite, Raksasi succeeds on a gameplay level despite rough edges. I’d definitely like it to do more (weapons have decidedly few moves and combat is a bit slow, with little in the way of expressive play), but the carefully limited hit zones on attacks (you and enemies must connect with the right parts of your weapon swings) and the focus on spacing and timing succeed in offering a solid, skillful play space (albeit a bit wonky feeling at first).
- Deep, skillful, mindful combat with unusual play and high level of enemy interaction and engagement.

Damned Cold
Very challenging and I am having alot of fun! Love the idea of getting the intel to unlock extra difficulties. Definitely recommend picking it up for the 9$ it is 100% worth it!!!!

Simple gameplay, and simple pixelated graphics to remind you of the good old days, Damned Cold is as challenging as twinstick shooters can get, you’re trying to escape your emprisonment as a prisoner of war, you’re going to die over and over again, but you’ll rinse and repeat, as this game is very addicting.

Heartless Dark
I can recommend this if you enjoy some atmosphere and an interesting challenge.
If you get over the initial learning curve the game has a lot of that ‘one more game’ feeling.
The dark and restricted vision can make it tough to navigate.
Once you get used to it then the challenge becomes not running out of ammo.
Once you get used to that the challenge becomes figuring out how to fight the monsters in interesting ways using the game systems (maybe kiting them through acid or stunning them with an exploding fire extinguisher).

A very atmospheric and lethal rogue like. You have to budget your limited ammo and life against enemies that hit hard and fast but I’ve never lost a like a run thinking there was nothing I could do about it. Finding bullets and upgrades is always rewarding.

Toroom
it’s been years since i was caught up in replaying a rougelike the way i’ve been playing Toroom the last couple days. it’s a small game and it uses its size efficiently. its got addictive punchy combat that veers in the direction of nuclear throne. the map layout and item pickup clearly evoke the binding of isaac. its a small collage of all the big pixely action rougelikes.
i am a complete sucker for cute colorful pixel graphics (also cute animal characters) and simple fast top down combat. its been awhile since i’ve see anything under the “action roguelike” tag that fits those criteria, so i’m very glad to have found this game

This game is awesome, I love dungeon crawlers in general, but this game stood out for me.
The gameplay is amazing, several items that modify the way of playing and amazing builds to be assembled in the middle of the run, the arts are beautiful with lots of rooms you stop to enjoy the beauty, plus the wonderful soundtrack.
Tldr: Toroom is worth every penny and I will invest several hours in it.

CreatorCrate
This game has incredible movement with a super fun momentum based physics system and I absolutely love it. It has been incredibly satisfying to improve at this game and experiment with all the various items and techniques as well as game modes. The base game is not overly difficult so it’s fairly easy to get in to and there are quite a few compelling alternate game modes.
I give this game a huge recommend and I believe it deserves way more attention than what it has gotten. If you are into movement games, roguelites or platformers of any kind creatorcrate highly worth checking out.
