Amazing, but there could be some description for how things work with other things, and also it would be nice if there was some grab tool so that we can move the things with our cursor. Other than that this game is amazing for a falling sand game.

I thought long and hard on this one, I really wanted to be able to give it a thumbs up, but the negatives simply stack up too high.

For starters, it is very monotonous, the exact same thing happens in sector after sector. Red ones are the same, blue ones are the same. Some have a little bit of variety, but even those show up over and over again.

Then there are basic things like ship controls. You get two options, one that is semi-automatic. where the guns fire well, but the controls are so difficult it makes me want to scream sometimes. You’ll be in the middle of a left turn, and suddenly it decides you wanted to point a few more degrees to the left by spinning all the way around to the right.

It’s not such a long Journey. In my 19 hours of play time with some time afk I did several attemted runs, including a final completed one and cheat-one to verfiy that I not just suck in finding good loadouts but that the game is intended to get ridiculously hard if you take to long. You only have to go to 4 marked systems. To reach these systems you have to go through a few additonal systems but should basically choose the shortest route as the enemies get harder and harder with every “jump” as it seems. In each system are about a dozen sectors and at least 90% of them are battles, sometimes with allied support. So find yourself quickly doing the same thing over and over again, not skipping any sector just to grind a few more ressources to buy that additonal gun. Only to find that in the next system your progress is nearly nullified and as soon as your ship is upgraded to the max you can’t any longer keep up with the growing enemy numbers.
