This game is free AND offers full controller use. I’m not into these types of games in any way possible but WOW this is one hell of a great, simple, and fun game!

I literally just grabbed this game to give it a shot and I am excited to play again.

It has very simple choices of maps and vehicles and that’s a nice look at a modern derby style smash up game.

Killsteel is also great for waiting times between lobbies because matches are so short, something like 4 minutes.

I’d push this game on anyone and will be doing just that!

most people have like 1-5 hours in the game and yes a small hand full of people have more hours that me but let me tell u with all 100+ hours i’v played i would 1000% recommend this game. tho its not 100% acuret and also 2-d, the game has sooo many possibilitys and can entertain you for days. even though this game is called Sinking Simulator its fun to also float the ships and see them bob around. if thats not your thing dont worry because you can create your own ships or download ships from the community. things i would recomend that the dev add are

I’ll save a full review for the full release, but so far I have really been enjoying this early version! I have 51 hours in the first kickstarter demo, that’s more than I put into some finished games, so I think it’s definitely worth your time to try it out if you like building vehicles.

So far it’s very much like an improved version of Terratech or Crossout, you build vehicles in a late-1800s/early-1900s military style and use them to complete missions and kill other vehicles. The editor is easy to use, combat feels nice with both small and big guns, pretty much every design you can think of will work in combat, and I can’t think of any other games that will let you build half-tracked amphibious battleships. The physics are very well optimized too, you won’t have to worry about building something so big it crashes the game.

Editing my review: there are enough toxic people to make this game basically unplayable right now. Some guns have needed balancing for months but nothing will change because of certain people in the community who love spawn camping with them. I highly doubt I will play this game again until the issues I mention below have been addressed.

I’ll start with the positives: the game is really fun and it’s a good mix between building, strategy, and shooting. The developers are extremely involved in the community, and there’s a lot of new content planned (game modes and maps). I’ve met a great group of friends through this game and we’ll typically hop on every night.

I cannot describe how undeservedly dead the game is in it’s current state. As a member of the small but cozy community that formed around the game, and the communities it interacted with, It’s very sad to see how empty it is. Vercidium, the game’s developer, has put an insane amount of work over five years to make it great, and you just cannot gloss over such commitment and effort. I previously was a moderator of the community, and can say from first hand experience how great every single person was, and is in the team or the community in general.

Lots of fun in a retro way. Maybe too basic for some people - has 90s arcade look - but I liked it, simple gameplay with just the mouse. Some of the levels are quite challenging. Well worth a try for a free game!

Charming art style, really cool playability, nice music, decent little enemies =) excellent, thanks for the free play, will be playing more. For some reason the baddy kinda reminded me of portal or similar with the humorous posters

Please do not think of Ace of Spades, Minecraft, or Team Fortress coming in to this, treat it as it’s own game, because it is. All gameplay elements are well balanced, and tie together incredibly well. In the context of pure gameplay, there is little you can say against it. It is the best game I’ve ever played, and that likely won’t change for a long time, I’m certainly a candidate for being the #1 fan.

Currently the biggest problem is the playerbase. It is quite low, and slowly diminishing. I’m sure the developers will be looking at ways to pick this back up. If you’d use a USA, or UK server, you shall be okay, but otherwise I’d suggest not purchasing the game. Queues may take a little longer than other games due to the low playerbase. However, if you’re in a long queue, please do not leave, it creates a perpetuating issue that is only solved by players being patient.

First of, dont get me wrong, I love this game, I wouldnt have played it for 2000+ hours if I didnt. I made quite a lot of friends through this game in the last three years and learning to play each hero is fun.

The gameplay is one of a kind, it’s a unique mix of building and class based objective gameplay, however, there are some serious issues with this game:

Tutorials

There are none. The practice ground can give you a few pointers about movement and the tutorial video provides tips about basic game mechanics, but the base setups shown in the videos are absolutely useless. Your best bet would be to search some gameplay footage on youtube and study the defenses and tactics of some high level matches.

The Sandbox Evolution - Craft a 2D Pixel Universe!

The Platforming was fun and the levels I played were short. I normally am not a huge fan of platformer games but the short levels and easier difficulty were more my play style. With that said they do have harder levels, and you can use your credits to automatically beat them if you end up on the struggle bus for long. Beating Levels and completing quest in game give you more credits to use. You can also build levels to share with others, the tools are easy to use and after a few minutes you quickly figure things out. You unlock everything using credits, once unlocked you can use them in your level design. Early on I still had a ton of credits and no problems getting the items / monsters / materials I wanted to use, but I can see where the free to play isn’t so free once you get into it. With that said I have no problem forking over some cash for a game I’m enjoying and spending lots of time with. So check it out on steam, it’s free to play and you should be able to many hours of play out of it before you hit that first $ roadblock. #tsbevolution

The artwork, character controls, interface and general stability (on PC) are obviously much better than The Sandbox, but it doesn’t quite capture the magic of the past game.

In particular the temperature system isn’t as well balanced. It’s easier to get a runaway temperature reaction (eg dropping one ice in a body of water and forming a glacier). You could do that in the previous game, but the ice was much more likely to melt if you only dropped one, and it was easier to erase all the ice and get your water back. In this game temperature tends to stick around and you typically have to erase a lot of the surrounding solid blocks in order to get

Break Time!

Break Time!

Charming as hell. You get to break all this dude’s stuff, for achievements and points! Oh glorious points, how I love thee. You stand in the middle and use telekinesis to bring the objects to you, which makes it the arcade experience you require. I can loco-mote around in other games and break their stuff, later.

Arrrrgh! What a stressful day… I have enough of it! It’s time for a BREAK TIME!

Break Time! is a pretty straight forward game where you can release your “anger” or just having fun by breaking stuff on a certain time limit :) Duh! It’s free and overall a solid game so nothing to complain about. Highly recommended!

Crossout

Crossout

TLDR: google “crossout slam dunk” (even if you have no intention of ever playing the game, lol).

Full version (Scroll below for a section on “omg, grind!"):

After enjoying this game for quite a while, I feel like I at the very least owe them a Steam review, because in my mind the “Mixed” rating (as of writing this) is quite unfair, and is largely created by new players mistaking a learning curve for a “paywall”.

Which leads me to this main advice to starting players:

Real player with 2812.2 hrs in game

This game is EXTREMELY poorly managed. And trust me, this means alot, because most of the time i overvalue games and i respect the developers alot. I also recommend most of the games i play, to my friends. I would honestly not recommend crossout to anyone. This became one of the worst games i have ever played. Just because of some poor decisions

Let me talk about some key elements of the game.

GRINDING

Don’t be fooled by the fact that the game is free. The small playerbase is used to invest lots of money in the game, so as a new player, or a player who really plays for free, it’s a dead end. You will be smashed by the others, since the items are tier based and every tier is more expensive than the prior one. The last one takes few months, even years of grinding, depending on how often you play, of course, if you don’t pay real money. That being said, you might just find yourself in huge disadvantages if you play for free. There were decent ways to farm in game coins fast, but don’t worry, the developers made sure to patch them, so everything is a slow process and you don’t get anything significant without paying them.

I really like this game, its fun and I almost completed it once, but on the day I boguht it it wouldn’t work. On the first level the mouse kept on blinking, not allowing for me to play. I was pretty ticked off, but after one night it worked great and with no bugs.it stayed that way for two or three days. And its doing what it did when I bought it. if theres aa update or way around this please please please let me know

I enjoyed it its not the best game by far but it was enjoyable and there was no crashes or bugs.

There are 3 ships to take control of over 3 campaigns and 8 missions each a Large container ship a floating crane and a heavy lift ship.

I got this on a Steam sale £1.73 and not the £10.00 normal price I recommend getting this when on a Steam sale.
