Brick Rigs

Brick Rigs

ATTENTION: Brick Rigs is NOT a Lego game.

If you are here looking for a ‘Lego simulator’, then this game is not for you. It used to be like that, but the game has changed a lot since it launched. The currently posted trailers and screenshots are several years old and no longer accurately represent the game. Since the introduction of clipping (ability to build creations with intersecting bricks) and scalables (generic geometric shapes without the iconic Lego-esque notches which can be stretched to any size), the community has shifted towards a generic blocky aesthetic more akin to Roblox or Stormworks. Take a look in the most popular section of the workshop to see for yourself.

Kill It With Fire

Kill It With Fire

Pros and cons are down below) Check out gameplay here:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Lz8yzsAziTo&feature=youtu.be

Advantages:

1. The game is very funny! It’s so nice to destruct and burn everything around. I especially love when big explosions happen! Yes, there are big explosions!

2. Well, if you are afraid of spiders and don’t like them being near you, that’s your chance for sweet sweet revenge. I am so afraid of spiders, I genuinely panicked during first encounters, but then it got better and more fun! I kinda chilled a bit. I believe, it’s overestimating to call the game therapeutic aha, but I feel better in regards to my phobia.

A cathartic experience for us spider-haters out there

arachnophobia

/əˌraknəˈfəʊbɪə/

noun

extreme or irrational fear of spiders.

According to Wikipedia, arachnophobia affects around 3.5 to 6.1 percent of the global population. Out of 7.9 billion humans, that percentage equals a lot, making it one of the most common phobias out there. So what does this game do? It take that phobia, amplify it ten times, but at the same time they gave you an arsenal of weaponry that is enough to supply a small army. Welcome… to Kill It With Fire.

Oik 5

Oik 5

I really like Oik 5! With the DLC I have 9 hours of playtime, which is a great value. I find it very relaxing and it feels good to solve some of the more difficult puzzles.

### Full Game Video Walkthrough here

If you’re reading this you’ve probably played ZUP or the previous OIKs. Yes, it’s still the same GameMaker physics game that unlocks quintuple achievements per level. While there is nothing new to the series here, I am voting this one up because the levels are actually challenging for a change. Time and consideration went into the design, and it shows.

As for the negatives, well, 1-2 hours tops gameplay. Little to no replayability. Some people say that the games have RNG. This isn’t true in my experience. Once objects are in momentum, fractions of a second can completely change the result. If you use a stopwatch (or landmarks), you will produce repeatable results.

Demolition Engineer

It was ok but i think it would be easier to throw a hand full of Lego in the air and get the same feeling.

Unlike what I read in some other reviews, the controls are trivial enough (although indeed never explained): move with WASD or arrows, swing the boulder with the mouse.

However, I keep losing within 45 seconds to 2 minutes, and I have absolutely no idea why. The game provides no explanation and I haven’t found wtf can be the cause for this loss. Doesn’t seem to be a time limit or some kind of collision. Just the game randomly screwing me. Unfun.

Edit: wow I finally understood what was the problem. You need to destroy specific buildings, identified by color. The main difficulties of this game are then:

Roarr! The Adventures of Rampage Rex

Roarr! The Adventures of Rampage Rex

Roarr! The Adventures of Rampage Rex isn’t dino-mite at all, and to be fair it’s pretty terrible. The graphics are just ugly, really ugly, It felt they were trying to create that old arcade game feel but it doesn’t do any wonders. And the gameplay gets repetitive really quickly and the controls are just awkward and hard to get used to. And the worst thing about this game is that Horrible music, the music is just agony and not only that it repeats over and over to the point where you feel that your ears are going to bleed. The story is simple and nothing special you play as Sue the T-rex who is woken up by an invading alien race who want to take over the world and it’s up to you to save it, not much to phone home about. Kids might enjoy the game but adults, meh, not so much at all. Rating: 1/10

This is a great game for the kids as a time waster. It’s even split screen coop if you want to play with them. The buttons are few so it’s easy for them to learn the controls. For $3 normal price / under $1 on sale, it’s worth it if you have kids that like to play.

Catlateral Damage

Catlateral Damage

I have found this game to be simple, but very addicting. You cause destruction as one of several different cats, most of which you have to unlock through gameplay.

You can play in two modes, objective mode and “litterbox” mode. Objective mode is where you are given a set of objectives to complete. You do this by knocking down or destroying the indicated items. You have a time limit in which to complete the objectives. You get bonuses for certain items, as indicated in your objectives. If you complete your objectives, you get to move on to another level, up to four levels. There are special items you can knock down to unlock bonus levels which are added in to your four basic levels.

My paw swipes a dinner plate off the table and I peek over the edge to watch it shatter to pieces on the floor below. The humans will pay for keeping me cooped up all day!

Catlateral Damage is a new game where you play as a bored cat wreaking havoc on the everyday objects inside the house. We all know kitten thinks of nothing but murder all day so this game is a realistic simulation of what it’s like to be a cat running around the house making mischief and taking care of cat business - knocking down items on shelves and tables, opening doors, hiding in boxes and tunnels, crawling above and behind everything and making a huge mess while you’re at it.

Yeah it’s released finally and I like this game! To build up my tower with all this different parts is fun and to see how it works against gravity and natural forces is also great. The defend could be challenging sometimes but after a while there is always a way :)

Of course I am not yet through every level but so far I would clearly recommend it.

Oik 6, the last game in the series, finally the suffering ends.

Purchased in the Bundle, guess ok, the game itself is also not bad.

But do we really need to have 6 Oik games? That’s why 7 never comes! xD
