Roarr! The Adventures of Rampage Rex

Roarr! The Adventures of Rampage Rex

Roarr! The Adventures of Rampage Rex isn’t dino-mite at all, and to be fair it’s pretty terrible. The graphics are just ugly, really ugly, It felt they were trying to create that old arcade game feel but it doesn’t do any wonders. And the gameplay gets repetitive really quickly and the controls are just awkward and hard to get used to. And the worst thing about this game is that Horrible music, the music is just agony and not only that it repeats over and over to the point where you feel that your ears are going to bleed. The story is simple and nothing special you play as Sue the T-rex who is woken up by an invading alien race who want to take over the world and it’s up to you to save it, not much to phone home about. Kids might enjoy the game but adults, meh, not so much at all. Rating: 1/10

This is a great game for the kids as a time waster. It’s even split screen coop if you want to play with them. The buttons are few so it’s easy for them to learn the controls. For $3 normal price / under $1 on sale, it’s worth it if you have kids that like to play.

Jurassic City Walk

Honestly… I got this game for my nephew and he loves it but personally this game is not exactly easy for a kid to play, let alone get the ultimate dino of their dreams- The T-Rex. It requires that you beat all 25 levels and that you get 75 stars. It only continues to get more difficult as you go on to where he has to waste play time for me to get him past a level. As I said.. He loves it, me not so much. (10/10) his rating. (4/10) Mine.

I had fun for all of 5 minutes, if that. After that, the game gets really repetitive. There isn’t much variety in the game. The levels are either: destroy things until x amount of points, destroy electrical stations (whatever they were), or stay alive for x amount of time. That’s it. Some achievements are broken, and even if you don’t care about that, the game itself is buggy and annoying after only a few levels. If you use the 2nd largest dino on some staying alive levels, eating will cause the dino to either get stuck or just freeze (you can still move around but cannot eat). When using the largest dino on levels 26-49, you cannot press “continue” to move on to the next level, which forces you to go back to the menu and then going back to the level selection screen. Walking with the dinos can be painful and buggy as well.

The Dinosaurs Are Here

The Dinosaurs Are Here

The Dinosaurs Are Here is a physics-based sandbox game set in a nowadays park where you can control a dinosaur.

Hunt for humans and try to survive against the park security guards!

The game features procedural animations, an advanced dinosaur IK system, and ragdoll humans that you can grab, eat and throw as a dinosaur.

You will need to manage your hunger, thirst, health, and stamina during your play.

The game is set on a beautiful huge park with football fields, baseball fields, tennis courts, playgrounds, ponds, restaurants, bars, and much more!

You will be able to find lots of hidden secrets and unlock amazing achievements if you like exploring!

UNIQUE CONTROLS

You will be able to control your head and tail in a simple yet advanced way.

Rotate your head to better target your attacks or simply throw an object that you’ve already grabbed in a specific direction.

RAGDOLL HUMANS

Grab humans and have fun with them!

Depending on the angle of your attacks you will have the possibility to take a human from his hands, legs, neck, or spine.

THROW OBJECTS

Each object will be pickable depending on your mass and the object’s mass.

That means that a big dinosaur will have a better chance to pick a big object, while a small dinosaur will only be able to pick smaller objects.

Also, bigger objects will mean slower head movement when holding them, which translates into smaller throw distances.

ADVANCED AI

The AI will have an advanced perception system that will rely on sight and hearing.

If you make too many noises they will be able to hear you from a great distance and escape if they are normal civilians or chase you if they are security guards.

KEY FEATURES

  • Physics-based dinosaur game

  • Huge map with lots of secrets and achievements

  • Survival & hunting game mechanics

  • Advanced AIs with perception systems that are able to hear, see and predict

Approximate amount of time to 100%: 35h+

Estimated achievement difficulty: 2/10

Minimum number of playthroughs needed: This question is hard, but I would say 9 since you have to level up 9 Giga’s to lvl 50

Is there a good guide available: I made a guide, which you can find here

I really like this game! Though, there’s some minor stuff i really hope will get updated (and with this being in early access it likely will!)

At the time pf this review there are 3 gigas and 4 worlds

What I like

This game reminds me a lot of how some old classic flash games used to play, but with more polish and gameplay. When rampaging the attacks feel responsive and good, especially as you upgrade them more. It feels great to upgrade your giga and I personally don’t mind the quick bits of taking care of it as a baby for bonus mutation points. I love the pets system too, and how adding decorations to your giga’s home gives bonus stats. Also, despite the game being in such early access it feels like it has enough content to be worth the price even though it doesn’t even have half of the planned amount of content!

Toy Tactics

The fight to become the supreme strategist has begun!

Command your troops and outclass other military geniuses from different ages in a take on battles like never before. Think fast, deploy your units, and emerge victorious. There is more than one road to victory, but only the smartest will get the prize. Sun Tzu is watching, are you ready?

COMPLEX TACTICS, SIMPLE CONTROLS

Placing and moving your warriors wisely will allow you to overcome sieges, ambush your opponents, and deceive them. It may sound complicated, but you will control your wobblers by just drawing formations on the battlefield: you can also drag, merge, or change them: Surround, feint, outsmart… The world is your canvas!

BLESSED ARTIFACTS AND GREAT POWERS

During your adventure, you will come across ancient artifacts which enhance the abilities of your troops, but that is just the beginning… You can also unlock and acquire special powers: invoke reinforcements like catapults, summon flaming meteors, build your own walls and towers… Just draw and set the target locations on the ground, wait, and see…

LOTS OF TROOPS + PHYSICS = CRAZY BRAWLS

When the contenders collide, their masses, weaponry, and inertia could make some helmets fly through the air. Physics is not oly fun to watch in massive matches, it may be on your side if you jump at the chance.
