Cosmic Awakening VR
Very Fun and scary game. The atmosphere and space station setting are both really well done. There’s a real sense of dread When you’re moving down the halls. The controls are fairly responsive although some things, like picking up certain objects, don’t seem work perfectly. I’m usually very sensitive to motion sickness when it comes to VR games, but I had no problems here. I was able to play for an extended period with no real problems. I definitely reccomend this game to any Vive owners who love a good horror experience.

First thing I want to say is I liked this game and I had no bug issues. The game ran 100% fine for me and there’s a video to prove that below. My specs are listed at the bottom.
Well this game was gifted to me so I decided to try it out. I am not very good at puzzle and discovery games as I have not played many in my life time so this one started off a bit slow for me. The atmosphere was fine and the graphics well enough and since it was horror the game went into creepy mode nearly right off the bat. The game in general starts off very slow until you kind of figure out what you need to do. There are 2 game modes. The first I wasn’t sure what to do but the story mode basically keeps you moving along a certain path, so to speak, I am guessing to a climax. In the begining exploration takes up most of your time then after you get the jist of what you probably should do the game moves faster and then gets more tense. I purposely didn’t finish the game because I was making a video and didn’t want to spoil the experience. Later this week I will continue where I left off as you can save your progress (yay!!). Look at the tags. If you like any of the tags then you should enjoy this in VR. If this was a regular game I don’t think I would have been too interested but I am looking for VR games that put me in another time and place. This fulfills that for me. I like action but I think adventure and exploration games fit VR really well since the mechanics are not very complicated and the focus can be on the environment rather than running here and there not really enjoying the setting. The price is a bit steep since I am guessing it is not super long but the quality of the game is not bad. I love Virtual Reality and scifi so this kind of game sends me there. It has many options too for graphics and other things. I say it is a buy. A number rating would be above average but only 7/10 mainly because the price is a bit high, in my opinion. Don’t expect to be very scared by this. It is more a “atmospheric tension” experience but does have some surprises which I won’t reveal in writing.

CARNAGE OFFERING
Developed by Futurtech, Carnage Offering is a brutally enjoyable and intriguing surreal shooting experience. Diverse monsters, incredibly destructive and upgradeable weapons, fast-paced movement, and carefully tuned physics provide the arcade experience that forms the basis for intense first-person combat. The dark humor in the dialogues, the weapon management and the brutality of the fights make this game a new genre of FPS.
Story
In 2527 in a dystopian world, Jake, an engineer and bounty hunter, travels to the far reaches of the universe through a wormhole. With the help of his friend Roy, Jake’s goal is to exterminate the replicator robots that threaten the Confederate planets.
Led by Roy, Jake has no choice but to accept the missions planned by the alliance and even do the dirty work.
Between missions, Jake comments on the orders in front of the holograms of his future enemies with disillusioned remarks.
Weapons
Oh, by the way, did we tell you that there are weapons? Jake is not a fan of the small spoon. So players need to upgrade their equipment if they hope to defeat the entire menagerie they’re up against.
Players switch from pistols to Gatling guns and must adapt their equipment to the enemies of the moment.
There are 9 different weapons to unlock in this game:
Pistol, machine pistol, shotgun, magnum revolver, grenade launcher, assault rifle, double barrel shotgun, rocket launcher, Gatling gun.
The only way is to pay in dollars. To do this, you have to kill monsters and complete your bounty hunter missions.
You can also buy ammunition and sell it or find it on enemies.
Each weapon has specific upgrades that cost a lot of money.
For example: a fragmentation grenade for the grenade launcher, nuclear missiles for the rocket launcher or a laser gun for the Gatling gun.
You will discover that there is an audio and text description for each weapon. You will learn more about the manufacture and origin of these weapons.
Environments
Moving from a medieval city to a zombie-infested town, Jake travels to the far reaches of the universe to reach his goal.
All levels are completely different and take players on a journey for better or worse.
Doom 3: BFG Edition
Since Doom 3: BFG Edition is in fact a collection of games, it makes sense to evaluate the games individually.
Two old-school DOS Doom games - The Ultimate Doom and Doom II: Hell on Earth - have been ported to run natively within Windows. These games are absolute classics, but unfortunately, the copies included in this package have two major problems: frame rate and censorship.
When launched directly through Doom 3: BFG Edition, Doom 1 and 2 have their frame rates capped. This means that these very old games can only have animation as smooth as is possible when they are played in DOS - an archaic operating system that, even for its time, had trouble managing and accessing memory that was physically available to the computer.

Doom 3 is an odd game since despite having a greater focus on horror, it’s still an action game at the end of the day. There’s more story compared to the original games, however it is nothing too special and it can be very predictable at times. Since Doom 3 is still an action game, your weapons are pretty strong and you can carry a ton of ammo with you. I am aware the BFG Edition added more but considering the lockers give you a ton of ammo anyways in the original Doom 3, I am confused as to why they even added more ammo to begin with. Doom 3 still has good atmosphere and a great interpretation of Hell that I think even Doom 2016 and Eternal do not capture. It really shows how terrifying Hell is for your normal person, or in this game’s case, a marine who is usually indifferent to a lot of things.

DOOM
DOOM (2016) is a first person shooter developed by Bethesda and ID Software, meant to pay homage to the original series of Doom games from the 90s, which it does so incredibly well.
Gameplay
The gameplay in this game is incredibly fluid, all the guns have impact too them. That with the amazing enemy variety and fantastic soundtract by Mick Gordon all together make the gameplay feel extremely fun! The atmosphere of both the UAC and Hell are spectacular.
The game introduces a new mechanic called “Glory Kills” basically demons that are staggered can be killed in spectacular fashion, that as well as the challenges, collectibles and secrets through out the levels will have you searching all over for the hidden levels from the original DOOM, this and the large amount of levels combined leads up to atleast 11-14 hours of gameplay. The levels in DOOM are great in the fact that most of them aren’t linear, unlike most FPS games.

I’m Too Young To Die
Early concept arts from 2012 showed areas such as a museum, a library and the streets; all indicated this would be the remake of Hell On Earth. It all made sense considering Doom 3 was the remake of the very first episode. Then there was silence till 2015 when - during the summertime - Bethesda showcased the gameplay of the 4th episode. It was great: gory, fast-paced, had great graphics as well as numerous executions.
Hurt Me Plenty
Story-wise we are back where Doom 3 began. On Mars all hell breaks loose after an experiment conducted by UAC employees goes horribly wrong. But did it really go wrong or the aim was to unleash these foul beasts on mankind? It is our job to put a stop to all this and find all the answers. Interestingly, there is no “zero” level now which showed the base in its peaceful state back in Doom 3. We are thrown right in the middle of it; in fact, our protagonist wakes up from a long sleep only to find himself in shackles. He breaks free, kills a couple of zombies, picks up a pistol then his dark green marine armour soon after and proceeds to the nearest exit.

Kidnapped
I have mixed feelings about Kidnapped, so I’ll try to explain what I liked and what I didn’t.
Pros
• Really good at building suspense and unease.
• The music, when there actually is music, is nice enough. It fits the atmosphere of the game.
• The premise of the story. The hook of the game being an actual story being told is interesting.
• It’s not the prettiest game I’ve ever seen. But what it lacks in overall visual polish, it makes up for with execution. The lighting and sound direction make the environments engaging. They really help in building suspense.

There’s also a video available!
Prepare to have yourself “Kidnapped” by a deep and engaging story, “Held Hostage” by by smooth and exciting gameplay and have your butchered remains dumped on the side of the road even though you ‘Paid The Ransom’ when you bought the game when all of your hopes for any of this crumble from the moment you first move the mouse.
‘Kidnapped’ makes a lot of mistakes, a lot, but it does make an attempt, regardless of how hard it falls on its face. There are some interesting things going on with the map layout changing itself up now and then, but these instances are few and far between and not used anywhere near their full potential. Even if they were more common I feel as though whatever explanation we’d be given for it would be the same flimsy nonsense we already get. It’s an interesting premise on the very surface of it, you’ve been kidnapped, is it black market organ harvesters? A white slavery ring? The Illuminati? Nope, it’s a dude.

THOSE DAMN ALIENS! VR
Naturally, it’s stupid and bad. You can just tell by the screenshots, the font, the name, that stupid hud you can’t remove, everything. It’s handful of unity store assets compiled into a game shape object. The aliens are mostly spiders.
! It’s pure drek and I haven’t the foggiest clue how or why I own this. https://youtu.be/-9tyuT3ncEY
