If you’re okay with banging your fists on the desk and waking up your small rural city this game is completely for you.

This game is actually pretty good (gameplay wise) and it’s completely optimized

It ran at 60+ FPS with my ryzen 3 3250u and 4GB Ram (impressive I know) on ultra

The only real issue is the lack of VSync but other than that it’s great

I didn’t expect the skinny light stealer (I named her Felicia) to just pop up. I didn’t know she existed.

The clown was expected (Literally the first thing you see, Menu screen.)

SEUM: Speedrunners from Hell

SEUM: Speedrunners from Hell

I wasn’t aware of SEUM up until I had played its demo (now removed from the Store). In less than one hour, I was completely convinced that this game had immense potential, so I added it to my wishlist and waited for a sale. Six months later, here I am writing a review for it.

SEUM is a first person platformer where you have to complete each level as fast as possible. Featuring a leaderboard system, you can track your times, your friend’s and the worldwide records for every level. The scores are reset on every season, to make sure the top scores are fair without fixed exploits. It is technically an incentive to come back to it once in a while in case being on top is something you love.

This game is a ton of fun. Fast paced, perfect controls, great music, tons of levels, and full of little references. It can be a bit difficult at times, but it rarely ever feels unfair. A couple of time limits feel a little strict, but it’s not too bad. Really, you get a lot of content for the price. And it’s on sale now, so that’s even better.

I’ve only played through about 50 levels, so I see that things are different later on, I will update my review.

The game doesn’t hold your hand, but it also doesn’t hold you back either. You can play the game properly and go through each level as fast as you can. Or you can take your time, and come back later when you are ready for a better time.

Very interesting game, the description says it all, clearly…but it runs well and feels fun! I keep saying it in these reviews, but I mean it…the price is a little too steep..this could be fun for a lot of people but…if they won’t spend 11 bucks, maybe the won’t see how good it is, anyways..just my thoughts. Not a bad game at all!

Ninja: Rise of a Hero

Ninja: Rise of a Hero

My love! I miss you so much! The sneaky Dracula kidnapped you on the eve of our wedding… All my life I’ve trained for this moment! And was not ready for it…

I can endure any pain and take any blows without moaning!

I can imitate the sounds of any animals and birds!

I cleverly climb trees and swim in the water like a fish!

I am impeccable in Ninjato and the art of throwing shuriken!

I can see perfectly in the dark!

And I could not see the enemy in the daylight…

Doorways: Old Prototype

Doorways: Old Prototype

I just stumbled upon and finished this free demo-like-game of Doorways: Old Prototype for about 35 minutes. Not quite surprised, I wasn’t expecting any back story or deep explanation of gaming mechanics inside this game. There are some documents in game that explain the chronological background story about the making of Doorways games and its developer members, and also about the connection between the stages in this demo-like game and full game. It is a prototype, anyways.

Playing this particular game feels like playing 3D platforming, with linear pathways, simple puzzles, eazy predictable bosses, and enhanced quake3-like graphics (thus it’s very light game). No replay value whatsoever, probably just meant to tease players to try the full series of Doorways. But hey, it’s small, quite fun, and free. :3

What a great way to show the evolution of a game.

They took the original prototype for the game, and mixed in a behind the scenes look at how the game(s) came about.

Your goal is to find pages throughout the game by avoiding obstacles, and making your way from one level, to the other without dying.

A first person platformer with quite impressive graphics, and audio, especially for a prototype game.

Having said that, this is a prototype, so some areas may feel less impressive than others, where graphics are concerned, but it does not take anything away from the gameplay, which is quite solid.

Shadow Warrior 2

Shadow Warrior 2

After 3 years since the remake of Shadow Warrior the developers released a second title that continues the story. Though it is not a large span of time, it is big enough to fix the problems of the original and improve its weak points to create a true full-fledged sequel. However, instead of this obvious option, the developers decided to totally change the games mechanics and gameplay, going away from classical single player shooter to some multiplayer-ish looter shooter aka progression for the sake of progression. Did they succeed? Well, sort of.
