Swing Lord
This is a game that understands why games like Jump King are so great. It’s not about the frustration of falling, but the achievement of climbing and making areas you struggled with in the past feel trivial due to your increased skill. Currently I’m approaching the end of the game, but felt like giving a review after the amazing and terrifying mechanic that happens at the end of the second world [won’t say what it is of course]
There has only been one jump where I have wondered if I did it the intended way [some long sideways jump in world 1], everything else has felt buttery smooth. Really great game, I will do my best to spread the word about it! I even hope we get some continued support for it if it gets popular enough. More worlds perhaps?

Cathedral 3-D
“I like the aesthetics and bold discount tactics” - My friend Berry
I’ve got to say that this game is really great. I don’t know if there is anything else like it or if it’s emulating a style but that does not matter. Cathedral 3D’s movement, speed, style, and mechanics combine for an awesome time.
The game has a simple tutorial, some would argue to simple. Just get in there and play, figure out routes, learn what attacks work best, and stack combo orbs which give you invincibility, shield, or invincibility for your chest. To reload your health and ammo, you must be holding the chest as you run over the grails. Additionally, your point modifier depletes if you stray to far from the chest.

I’d say this game is well worth your time if youre a fan of arena shooters with a unique spin. Fans of Devil Daggers and the like will feel at home with this fast paced First Person Demon-er.
While the game doesn’t do much in terms of hand holding, there’s a bit to take in mechanic wise at first. But after a few play-throughs and learning the ins and outs on your own its an easy beast to tame. Flying around as a demon in this massive gorgeous cathedral feels so satisfying and blasting away and taking out your foes its a lot of fun.

PAGO FOREST: TOWER DEFENSE
**_“We need your reviews and comments on the Steam site.
Comments help us to reference our game to continue “PAGO FOREST”.
Thanks to your contributions, our license still exists! We’re counting on you! “_**
Story
Flora, a former leader of Nova’s army, is back in service. Still alive baal the necromancer contaminates the pago lands with his evil power. Flora’s mission is to build a large army and recover power artifacts to annihilate her enemies. In her quest she will need you! Are you up to the challenge?
Pago Forest worthy successor of The Dragon’s Vengeance (scenario) renews its gameplay. We are no longer in an educational game this time but in a real tower defense! The goal is to put the right characters or tower at the right time against the right enemies. For this you will need gold! a lot of gold! and courage of course… The game is composed of 5 acts, 26 missions that each have their trailer. Each act ends with a boss. Like its predecessor, the dialogues will be well garnished with jokes :) We will also find a mana bar for the spells delivered by the artefacts (beware some powers are only used once per level) The game is simple to understand but you will have to use strategy to finish it…
DOOM Eternal: The Ancient Gods - Part Two
Let me start off by saying that I’m a person with over 1500 hours on DOOM Eternal, I absolutely fell in love with its story, gameplay and everything else, it’s still my favorite game for sure, but I still have grievances about the campaign and story that I want to share to the community and ID, I think that you can trust me when I say that The Ancient Gods - Part Two is an immense disappointment to say the absolute least. Just in general the game feels absolutely neutered, I was really excited to play this DLC, after the Base campaign and TAG1 I had faith that ID could pull off a satisfying conclusion to this game, but I was sadly wrong, I’m gonna boil this down into 3 main points, Enemies, Difficulty, and Story, The story section has major spoilers in it, so be warned.
Let me start off this review by being 100% honest. This DLC is easier than the base game, even on the highest difficulty. That said, this DLC further exacerbates issues that people had with DLC 1.
Let me emphatically dispose of this point first as there’s a lot to cover;
- Cursed Prowlers.
As if having enemies being limited to being defeated by only ONE weapon type wasn’t bad enough with the Spirits from DLC1, this DLC introduces what I will highlight as one of the worst designed… things, ever put into a video game, let alone a skill based first person shooter (And I’ve played Redneck rampage’s sewer level). Lets start with WHY this enemy, under ideal conditions isn’t fun; there’s NO way for the player to know WHAT this enemy is going to do to you, let alone how to handle what happens when it does. This will have a very VERY high chance of getting the player killed. Lets go in depth, The cursed prowler’s attacks (melee & ranged) inflict a unique status unto the player; You cannot dash and you take damage over time. This limits your mobility by a sizable portion, but you still can use the meat hook on other enemies to get around. Note, I said OTHER enemies, because the cursed prowler is IMMUNE to being targeted by the meathook, AND the Microwave beam while you’re cursed, so you can’t even stun it from a reasonable distance. That may not be a problem some people would say, but here’s the pièce de résistance; the cursed prowler can only be killed by a blood punch when he curses you, which runs on a system of 2 charges, and can only be recharged by performing 2 glory kills to obtain one charge. So you may be caught with your pants down, suddenly unable to properly move, and by the time you’ve processed what’s happening, the cursed prowler is going to be on the other side of the arena laughing at you as you get your shit pushed in. What further exacerbates this issue is that some times, blood punches will be triggered on various things (corpses, carcass shields, other enemies) in your path TO the cursed a-hole, you may die due to no fault of your own.
Dark Sheep
This is a well-made, if short and simple, puzzle game, that pays homage to the commodore 64 era of games in its visuals, sound, and mechanics. It’s simple narrative is delivered concisely with plenty of humor, while still maintaining the focus on it’s increasingly complex and challenging puzzles.
The visuals are charming, and not bogged down or complicated with unnecessary effects, it’s simple and cute, and faithful to the era it seeks to emulate. Nothing was ever confusing or hard to understand, and the visuals effectively communicate tone and humor when it’s intended.

After beating every level with the best move count as an extra challenge, I recommend the game for fans of Puzzle games, Dark and ambiguous stories and Old computer aesthetics.
Starting as a simple puzzle game, the gameplay keeps getting some twists every few levels, which will change the way you think and play. The one thing I know after playing for almost 6 hours is that I wished there were more.
The story is nicely done, and surprisingly, you engage in it during the game.
Will you get your moneys worth? Absolutely,

Devil May Cry HD Collection
“I should have been the one to fill your dark soul with LIIIIIIGHT!!!!”
Amazing trilogy, older Action/Hack and Slash games can sometimes feel very clunky and slow in comparison to more recent games however these games hold their own and were definitely revolutionary to the genre for their time.
DMC was very enjoyable, a very solid introduction into the games. The puzzles and boss fights can be quite challenging even if you are playing on standard difficulty or even if this is your first DMC experience (like myself). Exploring the castle was very interesting as every area felt new and different without reprinting the same textures for different areas of the map which is what you tend to see in a lot of the older PS2 Games.

Philophobia: The Fear of Love
I’ve been following this game for quite a while now, from Tims original reddit post and man this game has grown quite significantly if that original GIF is anything to go by. I’ve also helped beta test the steam edition of this game and have poured well over 40+ hours into the various different versions of this game, from its itch.io release to the Kartridge port and now it’s current steam debut!
– Real player with 11.0 hrs in game
I can’t give it a blanket recommendation, but having beaten it I enjoyed it well enough. If this one shook out as Positive/Mostly Positive I’d call that a fair assessment but come prepared for tight jumps and minimal hand holding.
The title alternates between a puzzle platformer and a speedrunner. I’m not going to profess that it’s the lovechild of Super Meat Boy and Celeste or anything like that but I think it’s got some interesting ideas. Smoothing out difficulty curve a bit could go a long way (I died 260 times on one level and less than 10 on the next. This is an extreme example but you get the idea). I expect that level to be an exit point for a lot of people.
