ChronoClock
ChronoClock is very enjoyable visual novel. In fact, its such treat, i am totaly in love with it.
Its moege in its best form! If you are not looking for anything complicated and just want to have fun, i would be hard pressed to think of another VN with such high entertaiment value!
Character design is higlight of this VN. All the characters are incredibly well written, they are also out of usual stereotypes which makes interacting with them really refreshing. For example Makoto is girl with yakuza background, who has quite oldtimer beliefs and holds honor and chivalry in high regard (also she is totaly crazy into rabbits), then you have Misaki who at first glance is tsundere, but when teased a little she comes out spilles out her real feelings (come on, honest tsundere? you have no idea how fun she is), or Cro who is goddess but due to certain circumstances she becomes human girl and is expiriencing everything “human” for first time.

It’s a very enjoyable and straightforward game where you always know on which girl’s route you are. It took me 36 hours to complete.
Story.
I won’t write any details here but I’ll say it’s mostly slice of life type of story. The game promises you it’s nothing serious but that doesn’t mean you won’t cry. I did. It just means there are no bad ends.
Characters.
You have your typical anime archetypes: tsundere, overly attached sister, shy girl, blonde from overseas, etc. Despite beign clichéd they are not boring by any means, in fact I feel each one of them brings something fresh into this pungent bog of stereotypes. There are 6 girls to court, 4 initially available and 2 unlocked after.

Eternia: Pet Whisperer
I’m not a particularly big fan of visual novels but the premise of this game most definitely is my thing.
! You get to rescue talking, time-travelling animals that live forever. What’s not to love? Who wouldn’t want to take them all home?
The game is charming and sweet, utterly bonkers and very funny - there’s been so many laugh out loud moments for me throughout the game (especially the reference to the size of ratty nads!).
The artwork is just lovely. A gorgeous watercolour, painterly style. Perfect for the tone of the game. The UI is simple and intuitive. The music is adorable and suits the game so well.

This is a fun, light visual novel about bonding with talking pets, with a small amount of framing narrative and hints about the world in which it’s set (which did subvert my expectations). Each of the pets has a distinct and different (and often quirky) personality, and most of the game is learning about them by spending time with them and thereby earning their trust.
The artwork and music are upbeat and bright, fitting the general tone, and each of the plotlines moves along quickly. It’s very much a visual novel rather than a puzzle game, with your choices mostly being which pet’s storyline to follow each day, but with its brisk play time of 1-2 hours this works fine.

Date Warp
**It’s astounding
Time is fleeting
Madness takes its toll…***
Date Warp is the oldest of Hanako games here on Steam, as a cute VN with science fiction and dating elements. Even though it may be the weakest of all Hanako titles so far, it definitely is interesting and entertaining enough to present you 6-7 hours of playtime.
Janet Bhaskar is a freshman in Brooke College, Memphis. She is an introverted young woman who never dated before, and agrees to go on a date with young jock Bradley Dalton to appease her roommate, Vanessa. They go on a pretty much text book date without much attraction and got hit by a furious storm in the middle of the night while they were trying to go back. Bradley’s car gets busted in the middle of nowhere and phones do not pick any signal, yet luckily Janet manages to spot the lights of a mansion nearby. They decide to ask for help, and spend the night there if necessary. Unbeknownst to them, they may never leave…

“Date Warp” is an otome game that’s perfect for those just starting to check out the genre. That being said, it’s just as obvious this is an early visual novel work. This isn’t to say it’s bad – everyone starts out somewhere! The story is extremely intriguing as it seems you are to figure out how Janet disappears. But for me, the way it was done disappointed me. Because of the synopsis of the game, I figured there would be a way to work somehow “backward” and figure out the ‘true’ story from Bradley’s point of view (for example) but this is fine.

Kraken Academy!!
I’m still playing through the game so I will try to return to this review and update it upon completion!
So far, the game has been really fun! I love the soundtrack and the art style. The characters are all very quirky and unique, and I think the lil profiles you get in game are a nice addition. The mechanics of the game are interesting; I love the time travel and mystery solving aspect. I played on stream, so it was nice having other people help me because there are definitely lots of different details that you may miss on first pass.

More interesting reviews on Fenol Baron Approves Curator Page
The first day at the new academy turns for a shy guy not into a noisy party, but a quick collision with reality. And the academy is strange, and some bum is yelling at you, a huge talking Kraken is floating in the lake. Most importantly, now it is not your parents, but only you who manage your time. Literally. Making the time loop the main gameplay element is a very risky undertaking, but it worked out just fine. Returning to the past does not get boring, does not become some kind of foreign element for the grind of currency, but allows you to deeply feel the game concept, build complex secondary tasks, competently divide the game into chapters, while not formalizing it with banal inscriptions “Chapter 1, Chapter 2, etc. “. Because of this, the presentation of the plot feels so smooth, so crisp that there is simply no time to get bored, you are constantly in the center of events.

Time Tenshi
After I finished playing the New Time Tenshi, I have to say that this game really catches me off guard. This game is interesting and unique. Not to say I don’t have some ups and downs in this game, but this game really sends me on a wild ride through my time playing it. I’m already coming up with theories or what if ideas that might happen. To start off, I would like to talk about some of the ups and downs I have for this game, warning: there are spoilers ahead:
UPS:
- Kenji and Tensai:
This game did a really good job at portraying the main character, Kenji Johnson. Especially with his emotional states. When Kenji feels sad, I admit I would shed a tear or two as well. When he angry, I could feel his anger and understood the stress he is going through perfectly. What also made me like Kenji in this game is how analytical he is compared to the other characters. Literally, he was able to piece together who the “Commander” was, in either the main story or the alternate route. And when he is placed in an argument, he can not only keep his ground, but also contradict his opposition.

Before I get into the review, let me get some things said now. This is a reboot/remake of the first game with no breast expansion and very little fanservice. My opinion on it? I prefer it. Sure, this franchise is infamous for BE, but I felt this series was trying to focus on the story more. This VN isn’t a fanservice VN with time travel, but a story involving time travel WITH fanservice. However, I can see why people put more focus on the fanservice. Another thing is the failed Kickstarter and the things that weren’t able to make it in the game. Things like Voice acting, more illustrations, and even romance routes for the villains weren’t added in. However, I’m going to judge this game as to what we were given, not what it was supposed to be. Anyways…

Area-X
I had played X-Note a long time ago. I remember thinking it was mediocre. I also tried to play the Demo for Area-X but I was intimidated by the puzzles and gave up on it. Many years passed since then and I decided to give Area-X another chance and bought it on Steam.
I have to say that I didn’t regret the decision at all. I found the story better than I remembered it from the Demo. I often get bored with the story when I play otome games, but Area-X managed to keep my interest all the way through. The art looks gorgeous and the characters are all quite interesting. I liked the game so much that I even considered buying X-Note again. (I had lost it when my old PC broke)

Main game done in a bit more than 30h. Really recommended!
X- Note is developed. You learn better on characters, like after Yuon’s mom death and before Rexus finds Essi. You’ll discover Dr Loil Corporation’s plan and the consequence..
I bought it to know how lost natural resources would be recovered but there’s another large matter.
The revelations increasing in size are a good motive to play, Rexus route is wonderful as it changes the knowledge and it adds another about X-Note. I did Livan then, thought it would be a simple route but what we learn is awesome.
