The extra content is worth the price tag. The music player is a nice touch and the unlockable images are great.
! There are also secrets in the VM. The side stories gives insight to the 4 characters and shows how they mature and learn from each other through friendship and literature. At the same time it shows the formation of the safe and happy place known as the Literature Club, a place where you can express yourself, a place where you can write the way into your heart.

The game is tagged as psychological horror but contains none of it. It seems unfinished as the level select screen is very large but once the first 7 puzzles are done, there is nothing left to select with only a large empty white screen. Perhaps I gave up too early or something but as there are no hints of anything being amiss at any point, there is no reason to continue playing.

This game is fun, witty and addictive. The characters are deadly but at the same time adorable - who wouldn’t want to date them?
I like the way the game is structured and how chaotic the mini-games can get at times! Every time I lose i just kept wanting to go back and try something different and was surprised to find twists in the story and areas of the facility that I hadn’t before.
The voice fx of the characters gives me chills that should be warning enough to not fall in love, but… oh well. Here I am, several deaths later!

Chair Fcking Simulator, henceforth known as CFS offers a unique outlook into the lifestyle of sxually uninhibited, potato shaped being. Browsing through profiles on postcards, Potato-Like Man picks one perfect and sexy piece of furniture with which to do the deed.
Friends, let me tell you that I’d been quivering with anticipation up to this point but when the actual act began, ohhh, what art. Potato-man slams his vegetable groin into a variety of sultry seats. Thus far, my most beloved memory was Potato grinding his shapely buttocks (You can do that too in case you don’t feel especially thrusty) into a spitting image of Ol' Sparky complete with blue electric light.

Graphics:
The graphics are pretty stellar for a game about chair… buffing. Your character really gives off the vibes that they are the last thing alive in the immersive world, but we’ll get to setting in a moment. Overall, 7/10 in graphics. Great, but I don’t necessarily feel like I’m buffing a chair.
Story:
The story is barebones, if there at all, but you can grasp the rough points:

Good art- bad story. Meaningful choices are actually just guesses that zap you dead if you guess wrong. It reminds me of a comic book someone could write about an immature 13 year old trash talking super villain. I had to force myself to finish it as it would not be fair to review it if I had not finished it. It was a struggle. The writer created an interesting world but the story leaves alot to be desired. Example: Main character is in a tough situation so we give him a new power or say he wasn’t really trying hard until now–ect. Save your money!!!

Doki Doki Literature Club is one of the most twisted, shocking, and horrifying Visual Novel I’ve ever played. This game is amazing and the creator is such a passionate person. Doki Doki Literature Club will take you on an unforgettable ride, with lots of wild emotions. You will be feeling chills and goosebumps when playing through this and by the end you will almost be left feeling empty. Like you wish this game to never end, but still felt it ended nicely (If you get the true ending).
This game pushes boundaries of psychological element into the Visual Novel Genre and did it perfectly. It will keep shocking and horrifying you through your read. This game is a perfect example of not to judge a book by its cover. If you’ve been reading a lot of Visual Novel and feel a bit tired of the usual stuff, instead want to experience something new and unique! This game has it!

This Dating Sim can take a lot of different paths. It can be an advertisement, a psychological horror experience, a normal date and much more. Because of this it is so special. It surprises you every time and sometimes even makes you laugh out loud too!
As for the gameplay, there are a lot of choices to make, which will change the path you are going. For this reason, the replayability is very high. There are 14 achievements in total. Those encourage you to get all the different endings. At least they encouraged me to get 100%.

This game is really interesting and at the same time creepy. I would not recommend it to psychologically weak or wounded people since it might hurt them further more.
Getting all endings with trial and error method took me around two hours so even if the price, by itself, is not that expensive, I think it could’ve been lowered even more because 3€/hour isn’t cheap ! However, I must say that it doesn’t really bother me, in my eyes, the experience was worth the cost but I know that some people wouldn’t think that way…

As of writing this review I am 29 hours in and I intend to increase that number. Wow, where to start… I have played a few dating sims in my time but none of them have captivated me like this one. None.
Purrfect Date is a combination of a dating sim and a visual novel.

Story and gameplay
I won’t say too much to spoil things for you but what I will tell you is that the story can and will change based on the decisions you make. At first the story seems overly cheerful with humor and action sprinkled on top. You are a scientist arriving on Cat Island to act as the professors research assistant. It is your decisions that truly make this story interesting as things get dark, very dark. Each person seems to notice it at different times but they are always there to notice providing you know where to look.

Unfortunately it happened sooner than I expected but I’m going to write my first negative review:( Every time I start playing a new game I’m so excited, I never presume anything negative. In this case I really thought everything would be just purrfect: a visual novel + dating sim + cats!!! But…
At first I really enjoyed the game and all those lovely cats! You have 6 characters (3 male & 3 female) to choose from but you have to take them all to date all six cats. You are free to match them the way you like. And that was so awesome! You can experience pure romantic love without any prejudices and borders. The couples can be of any gender, they fall in love being a human and a cat. That was really new and I like it a lot! I’ve played some otome games before where pets turn into humans. Being a huge animal lover I still believe the idea is the best possible for such games) I’m personally a big fan. But here you realize that it doesn’t really matter. Love is too strong to mind any limitations!
