Jake’s Love Story
Very Fun VN, for the price it’s pretty good. Probably one of the only Novels that I’ve really enjoyed in a while. Has typos that might trigger some but I try to look past that. Was pretty hooked and even Completed all the achievements, I felt somewhat complete when I finally figured out the right things to say and do.
Spoiler Ahead
! But I was hoping for a harem ending as well when you ask them both to prom ;) Wink Wink

THIS GAME, I mean, woah, I gotta calm down here. Jake’s Love Story for the PC is quite possibly the hardest game I have ever played. Forget Silver Surfer, Dark Souls, Hotline Miami 2, whatever. This game doesn’t mess around. I struggle to even play this game for more than a few minutes before I have a mental breakdown and want to play something else. I don’t even save my progress, I just close the game.
The difficulty of this game… is LEGENDARY. If you wanna play this game, YOU GOTTA BE HARDCORE.

Cat President ~A More Purrfect Union~
It’s a really cute parody of American elections. But this game will be intersting even for those who are absolutely not into politics. I was so excited to play it being a great cat lover. We can hear those cats purring in the game which is so relaxing and enjoyable! Unfortunately I can’t say the same about barking sounds but even they helped to create a general nice atmosphere of the world ruled by cute animals because people became too corrupted. I find it so adorable that the photos of real cats are used. DJ Nibbles looks especially cute for me! Plus in every route there’re amazing cat pictures on the walls. It was a real pleasure for my eyes to play through this novel!

Tries to be Catoful Boyfriend, but doesn’t quite get there. A big part of why Hatoful Boyfriend works so well is that it starts with a one-note joke, but gradually reveals a complex story structure and lore, ending with a (probably well-spoiled by now) plot twist and genre shift. Cat President starts with a one-note joke and never strays far from it, so if you don’t find the idea of talking cat politicians inherently funny, it’ll get old really fast.
It’s a visual novel with no gameplay, and the choice structure is very simple (pick a cat, make some choices along a linear plot and have a sound effect tell you if you chose correctly, then reach one of three endings based on how many correct choices you made). Your choices basically don’t affect anything but the ending, so replaying involves skipping a lot of text, and the correct choice indicator should have been optional, because although it takes some of the frustration out of finding the good endings, it takes some of the fun out of it, too.

I’m a love interest in my childhood friend’s reverse harem!!!
I really liked the game! It has a unique idea. You can romance the boys or the MC itself! There is also a polyamory route! It has 11 endings and I had to replay a lot to get all of them. Overall, I enjoyed it. It was really cute.

A fun game filled with charm and humour
An Australian experience of slang, pop culture and a core of multiculturalism in its cast of Ao, Geum, Hong Yang and Emily.
The writing style is fun and upbeat and makes the characters feel like people you want to spend more time with and get to know further.
Multiple endings with each character, the options can lead to unexpected endings.
Mini games that influence interaction (and make you question your knowledge).
I’ve now bought this game twice now that it’s available on steam and i cant wait to replay it.

Angel Wings
This VN is brilliant.
Male or Female,, Female is Yuri.
Your selection at the beginning picks your path.
There are 3 or 4 House mates, well 3 or 4 and the Owner,(who you can also end up with),, sometimes a couple can pop up in other parts of stories that they are not part of the main story and live elsewhere. ie; I went in Jimmy’s and Jei was serving, though she was not in main story.
The stories are VERY good and, at times gripping, painful, sad, Happy. Some have ALL emotions through them.
From the cute and sweet Nuri to the Hyper fit and Hot Seola. The Smart but Daft Hyedong to the rough and Fun Jei,, The Prodigy Yeojeong to the Brooding Artists Chaeng. They all have stories and ALL are Love Options (In Yeojeong’s case you can end up with her sister Yuri), the Choice paths determine Who is in the Main story. Y is a very difficult person so I never did get on with her.

Purrfect Date - Visual Novel/Dating Simulator
As of writing this review I am 29 hours in and I intend to increase that number. Wow, where to start… I have played a few dating sims in my time but none of them have captivated me like this one. None.
Purrfect Date is a combination of a dating sim and a visual novel.
POTENTIAL SPOILERS AHEAD! I do try my best to not mention the most important ones however.
Story and gameplay
I won’t say too much to spoil things for you but what I will tell you is that the story can and will change based on the decisions you make. At first the story seems overly cheerful with humor and action sprinkled on top. You are a scientist arriving on Cat Island to act as the professors research assistant. It is your decisions that truly make this story interesting as things get dark, very dark. Each person seems to notice it at different times but they are always there to notice providing you know where to look.

Unfortunately it happened sooner than I expected but I’m going to write my first negative review:( Every time I start playing a new game I’m so excited, I never presume anything negative. In this case I really thought everything would be just purrfect: a visual novel + dating sim + cats!!! But…
At first I really enjoyed the game and all those lovely cats! You have 6 characters (3 male & 3 female) to choose from but you have to take them all to date all six cats. You are free to match them the way you like. And that was so awesome! You can experience pure romantic love without any prejudices and borders. The couples can be of any gender, they fall in love being a human and a cat. That was really new and I like it a lot! I’ve played some otome games before where pets turn into humans. Being a huge animal lover I still believe the idea is the best possible for such games) I’m personally a big fan. But here you realize that it doesn’t really matter. Love is too strong to mind any limitations!

Doodle Date
Full review at: https://thegamehoard.com/2019/02/12/a-look-at-the-latest-doodle-date-pc/
Doodle Date is a joke you and the game work together to tell. Using the simple design of a dating simulator, the game asks the player to fill in images meant to make that player laugh, the text reactions and situations the images are used for doing a good job of facilitating some funny moments. The plot is quite clearly constructed around the idea of amusing the player rather than giving too much meaning to the events or dating, but it does do some unexpected exploration of the concepts behind one creator drawing a character to life for the purposes of romance. Not really demanding any artistic skill, Doodle Date is an effective skeletal structure for setting up some silly moments, making it a game about having a laugh rather than having some deeply involved dating story or a well developed art platform.

Don’t take these doodles lightly! This VN is killer!
You’re the Creator! You create doodles that pull you into a world of blank pages and dreams that you imagine. Claire is your first drawing and she’s the one who pulls you into this mysterious and new world.
The game starts off as your standard visual novel. You have choices and various endings (3 to be exact). The only difference here is that you get to draw the key points of the game.
I used a tablet to draw and they STILL looked a hot mess. The dialogue is very tongue in cheek and took me by surprise. I have to say, the overall plot towards the end was a huge surprise to me.

NotTheNameWeWanted
To be honest, through all my playtime of this game I noticed how inferior the actual GTAV was to this masterpiece. Firstly, this game is extremely cheap compared to the still expensive GTAV. I can even buy copies of this game for all my friends and it would only cost a fraction of the actual GTAV. Secondly, this game is extremely accessible to all computers unlike GTAV with its high PC standards to not have your eyes burn. Thirdly and lastly, NotGTAV shares all other aspects of GTAV such as the nudity, gore, police chases, story, etc. In the end, I realized that I wasted money on the actual GTAV when I could have got this game for far much cheaper and with more playablility. Thank you NotGames for bringing all this enjoyment!

Brief & whimsical // Recommended for brief jaunts of a decidedly silly nature
-
Quirky, endearing soundtrack; good for keeping a goofy smile on the player’s face as they play through the abstract experience
-
Audio design, both sounds and voiceovers, is infectiously charming and funny
-
Hand-drawn visuals fit the rest of the game like a glove; adds immesurably to the droll atmosphere
-
Gameplay boils down to obstacle avoidance, timing, and tail management; mechanics are simple, but the difficulty increases gradually, just enough to keep one on one’s toes

Romeo Must Live
TL;DR: I can’t recommend this game due to the price versus the content, especially in the realm of the offered sexual content. If you’re here expecting porn, you’re going to be disappointed. 4 sex scenes with only 1 image per scene and lackluster dialogue during the sex scenes. Given the price tag, you’re way better off searching elsewhere for an erotic experience. If the “Lewd Romeo and Juliet” aspect sounded interesting to you, 3 out of the 4 sex scenes are with unique characters not from the original work, and the last is Juliet.

Short, fun and charming game. You wont find anything too deep or ground breaking story here, but the drawing is nice enough, music is fitting, enough choices for you to put in personality of Romeo. For the price, it is good enough. Though if author want to make more of VN may I suggest put a portrait of the character down next to to text so we can observe the change in facial expression.
