Sonzai
Sonzai is a 2d, action-brawler platforming RPG. The town of Kumotoshi holds secrets. A new life, new people, new spirits. What are the threads that bind people together? What is the nature of magic?
Sonzai is an innovative hand-drawn action-RPG about life, magic, and relationships. The town of Kumotoshi holds secrets; a new life and new people. What threads bind these people together? What is the true nature of magic? Thrown into a new town, form relationships with people around you. Sonzai is the debut game by trailblazing video game duo 2 Odd Diodes, hailing from Kolkata, India, and published by New York-based Top Hat Studios, Inc.
Taking place in a dynamic, living town filled with unique characters, each with their own lives and stories. The game embraces social links and relationship building that affect both the course of the story and the scope of the player’s skill. Visceral character-action combat with RPG mechanics means Sonzai brings customizable “rune” abilities and weapon load-outs to the table. Thus accommodating vastly different fighting styles along with the game’s more traditional life sim elements.
The game is wrapped in a beautiful, inky minimalist art style with precisely choreographed animations (every single animation frame hand-drawn), complementing a thought-provoking narrative about existence and magic, within a vast world filled with hidden lore to discover. While getting tangled in the lives of a colorful, diverse cast of characters.

After Meeting
It’s basically a matching game. I enjoyed going through it, but knowing what kind of game it was would have been helpful. You’re just trying to find which objects are similar or themed similarly.

Nightmare Puppeteer
If you haven’t forgot what art, creativity and more importantly having an imagination meant when you were a child then you’ll understand the value and importance of Nightmare Puppeteer. It’s the genius brainchild of the genius M dot Strange, an artist well ahead of his time that hasn’t forgot what it truly means to be an artist.

Super Army of Tentacles: (Not) A Cthulhu Dating Sim
Humanity was destined to fall. Your people, the Great Old Ones, were legends among the humans. Tales were told about their might, and whispers rose of how they would one day claim the entire human planet as their own. Of how mankind would simply go insane at the very sight of their malevolent beauty. Finally, the day came for the armies of the unspeakable horrors to rise.
Like, that was it, though. They got their butts kicked. Humanity won. Somehow. It was really, really embarrassing.
Play as a young monster who has only ever known life under human rule. Between finals for University and figuring out who to take to the winter prom, not to mention memorizing your lines for the big school play, you already have a lot of pressure to deal with. Now add the destiny of freeing the Dreamlands from an occupying army. That’s rough. In addition to the school year, now you have this whole giant RPG adventure to go on, complete with quests and stats and skills and party members and blah blah blah!

Journey of the Broken Circle
A simple but enjoyable story-driven platformer. I’m not really sure the trailer accurately portrays the context of the story but the game is fun; if the trailer or screenshots interest you, you’ll probably enjoy this game.

It really reminds me of Thomas was Alone both story and gameplay-wise with some minor differences. You’re controlling a circle instead of various rectangles through series of linear levels. The story is narrated through speech bubbles but sadly without any voiceover. If you liked Thomas was Alone, this will be right up your alley.
