Eyes of the Night

Eyes of the Night

Eyes of the night is a very fun game yet is still very simple to learn and play. After downloading the game I very quickly found myself enthralled in the games ominous and captivating environment and couldn’t help but play “just one more game” trying to evade the wolves and beat my score from the previous round. The game seems to be well made and I can’t wait to see what the future updates will bring to the experience. Overall, the game is very fun and if you have five dollars laying around I highly recommend you give this game a shot.

Atmospheric and Entertaining

I haven’t spent too much time playing it yet, but Eyes of the Night is a very entertaining game. The gameplay is simple, yet good, and the world design and music creates an atmospheric experience. I think that it’s worth noting that the music reminded me a lot of that of the Amnesia series, which I adore. Overall, I recommend checking this out! It’s fun, inexpensive and a good way to support indie developers making unique games.

Relieve

Relieve

_We are human beings. Nothing in this world lasts forever.

We are born and we die. We arise from nothing and eventually become nothing.

The interval between these events is our greatest happiness, our paradise on earth._

About project

Relieve - third-person game in genre of action-thriller.

It takes place in a fictional world situated between life and death. This world is called the World of Agony. A man who got there faces an ordeal that may be the last one in his life. The test is that the dying person must light fires and ferry his soul back to the world of the living.

The World of Agony is based on the memories of dying people and therefore looks like the world of the living. But its main differences are often hidden. This world is full of lost souls who could not return, but who also could not finally die. They are prisoners who may be dangerous, but who may need help.

And you can help them gain their freedom. Just as you can help those stranded at the precipice to return home.

Pros and cons are down below) Don’t forget to drop a like if the comment will be useful to you so it can be useful to other people as well)

Check out the gameplay here:

Advantages:

1. It’s INSANELY SCARY! And the scares are not limited to jumpscares over and over again - the atmosphere gets under your skin. The sound design is soo good - makes you very alerted for the whole duration of the game. I don’t know how the dev does that but they have a way of getting into your head. If you’ve experienced Suite 776 then you know what I’m talking about and this game will NOT disappoint you!

What a terrifying experience this was!

Inside Depth 6 has incredible ambience, superb sound design and a really unique and refreshing approach for the setting which makes for a truly horrifying and scary game.

Everything felt well crafted, there were no cheap jump scares, just dreadful sorrow and fear from the unknown as you trascend deeper and deeper into the mine. You can feel the uneasiness with each elevator ride that takes you further into the mine, and this is something that was not very often tackled by horror games and it felt really refreshing for a change. The setting really got to me.

NETWORK

When you surf the internet, you never know what you might stumble upon…

This game reveals a problem related to the Internet. Now the global network has turned into a dump, in which there is a lot of everything, and you never know what file you can stumble upon. So-called “deadly” files are no exception. Now, with almost complete freedom of action in the network, this has become especially important.

The plot of the game will take us to various locations, such as: the apartment of the main character, a construction site, friends ' apartments, a stairwell.. Where we will face various tasks: find certain items, solve plot twists, or just get out and survive..

We also spend a certain part of the game on the computer of the main character, communicating with our friends on the network, looking for answers to questions. The storyline depends on your decisions, what do you write to this or that person? What tactics do you prefer - to respond calmly or more directly and rudely? Find the information yourself in the game browser or go through a mini-game? The player’s choice affects both the course of events and the further plot.

Plot:

We play for an ordinary guy 17-18 years old. The main character has just moved with his family to a new apartment, which is still under renovation and not even all the furniture has been delivered, plus constant power outages. The hero comes home from school, immediately sits down at the computer, goes online, sees a new message, clicks on it and STARTS….. It all depends on you…..

Tired of the same type of horror?

The game includes a variety of gameplay, in different locations.. The game will not let you get bored, and will allow you to spend a couple of evenings in suspense, with a full immersion in the atmosphere of fear, “deadly” files, correspondence with friends, Internet legends and hopelessness…

Features of the game:

    • Unique concept;
    • Diverse gameplay;
    • Interesting plot;
    • Various locations;
    • An atmosphere of fear and tension.

Siren Head: Awakening

Siren Head: Awakening

So, here’s the thing. I actually really enjoyed the game. It has Slenderman vibes where it’s a small type map and you gotta get the object while you’re being hunted and it seems to get more aggressive. I could just be bad at this game, so take what I say as simply from my experience alone, but after figuring out everything I needed to accomplish, it became nearly impossible to achieve. Where, I would hide in a structure, but Siren Head would get me anyways, or I would see him go one way, and start walking and he would appear right next to me after just seeing him, even with my flashlight off and such; so as of now, I never finished. This was on normal mode. So, my biggest thing is that there should at least be a way to get away from Siren Head once he is alerted because if you are no where near a structure, you’re gonna get got and that’s the end of it. I tried a few techniques like tapping the sprint button, however, nothing worked. Over all it’s a good game, or rather it has all the potentials, but in many ways even when I was doing all the right things I was set up to fail.

Real player with 5.8 hrs in game

I certainly appreciate the fact that the developer responded to so many negative reviews about this game saying “Sirenhead teleports in front of the player” or “Sirenhead camps the car”, or something else similar and went out of their way to patch the game accordingly. That isn’t a trait many people possess. Therefore, I have decided to give this game another chance. A few things I have noticed are that, while Sirenhead still teleports in front of me, he doesn’t do it as often as before the patch. Sirenhead also doesn’t camp the player anymore and according to one of my Steam friends, he turns invisible every now and again, so I can’t predict when he’ll appear as easily. Finally, there are also more possible spawn locations for each of the items you must find in the game. This is quite an improvement since the patch, but personally, I think this is a bit better than okay for a free game. It doesn’t bring many new gimmicks to the table and feels like a carbon copy of Slenderman at times, but it isn’t a buggy, painful mess to play through either. My opinion mostly stems from the fact that horror games aren’t really my favorite genre, however I understand that that’s not the developer’s fault, therefore my positive review still stands. Overall, if you’re a horror fanatic looking to add a game to your collection, but also are on a budget or completely broke, this is one game I can recommend.

Stories of Liane

Stories of Liane

Interesting game and looking forward to the next chapters. One thing that surprised me is that though the date is 300 years in our future, when I stepped into the office I saw stacks of reams of paper, a photocopier that would fit in any of our offices today, desk telephones and fans, etc. I honestly would expect the office equipment to be maybe vaguely recognisable and I would not expect to find a copier and reams of paper. Surely in 300 years there will truly be paperless offices. When I look into the future I expect to see the future. Hell, the original Star Trek did much better than this.

Please read (I don’t want this to come off sassy):

So I have a medium to beefy PC, with a higher end GPU. I also do 3d Modelling, animation, game development, and play a lot of games with the highest graphics settings (currently breezing through The Medium and Tomb Raider SOTTR on the highest settings).

After having installed this game without even beginning to play it, I for the first time, saw artifacting from my GPU with it blowing over the 8GB, meaning that the way this game was made is demanding more than what’s necessary.

The Signifier Director’s Cut

The Signifier Director’s Cut

I was in love with this game at the start, but it went downhill for me as I played. I’m just BARELY not recommending it, but if you find yourself intrigued by the premise and gameplay, it might still be worth playing.

In The Signifier, you play as Frederick Russell, a scientist who is using AI technology to recreate memories (objective and subjective) from people’s minds, as well as dreams they’ve had. You’re tasked with helping to solve a murder (or was it a suicide?) by researching the victim’s last memories.

Summarized review below!

The rundown:

Pros:

  • First half of the story

  • Really cool visual direction

Cons:

  • Latter half of the story

  • Game-breaking bugs.

  • Numerous technical issues

We get quite a few of these psychological thriller walking sims each year. A lot of them bank on their visuals while slacking on the story. Rarely though, do we get a game like The Signifier, which seems to have both of those aspects on lock. At least, that was my initial impression.

i had recently seen a youtuber play this i had to check it out ! i thought all his jumping and shrieking was all for show but after playing this wow shit made me jump outa my skin when i got caught the only thing so far i have to say is maybe put some kind of map in there to reference not one that stays on the screen as i know thats part of the thrill of the game . but also i could be wrong but the colors to fix the electricity was a little odd for me but over all cant wait for more !!!! would be cool to interact with more objects maybe start a fire in the power house as a diversion or something but great game so far cant wait to see whats next

Loving the game so far! It really has me wondering what´s real and what isn´t and i´m really looking forward to seeing how to story progresses. The gameplay is mostly very smooth, but i do have a couple problems with it.

Mainly the fact that there´s no map or no way to know where you are and have to rely on pure memory, which kinda sucks for me since i tend to forget new things such as the geography of a place rather quickly, so it was a bit hard to navigate through the park since i didn´t know where i had to go, so i think it would be a good idea to implement a map of sorts as an item, but without telling you exactly where you are, just the general geography of the place. The second problem was a bug that threw me off a bit a while after i began spoilers ahead for those who haven´t played it. After i grabbed Sam´s phone on the ground, after walking around for a minute or two, the phone appeared again on the ground and i picked it up again, which made the dialogues mix up and be interrupted by one another, basically giving me a hard time to understand what was going on. I´d appreaciate it if you could fix it so future players don´t have the same problem i did when trying to understand what´s going on.
