Beautiful game.

Game play and mechanics are straight forward and well done, but the visual and audio atmosphere of the game are where it really shines

I’ve played about 90 minutes so far and I’m really enjoying this. The graphics and sound design are top notch. The game play is virtually identical to Abe’s Odyssey, but I really enjoyed that game too so it’s all good!

Five Nights at Freddy’s: Sister Location

Ok, I’ve finally completed the game, so I’m making a review for this. Before I start WARNING: SPOILERS. Now this isn’t going to be a review saying something like “BEST GAME EVER 10/10” no, I’m actually going to put time into making this. Now Scott Cawthon, you are a great man. This game is definitely different from the other FNAF games, and you actually took time to make this game instead of the normal 3-4 months of developing. The teasers look great with those special effects, and I love how you tried to keep everything balanced and not show much of gameplay in the trailer. Speaking of gameplay, let’s talk about that. Now the only problem I had with the previous FNAF games is that the gameplay was the same thing and repetitive. No matter what in FNAF 1-4 you are doing the same thing each night, but just more animatronics. (In FNAF 4’s case, one animatronic changes things up.) In this game you’re doing something different on EACH night. Now that is what I love to see, a FNAF game that doesn’t have repetitive gameplay each night. FNAF: SL also has different elements, instead of waiting until it’s 6AM you actually have to keep progressing until your shift is complete, I can say that this game is pretty much faster than the previous games because of that and the fact there isn’t any extra nights, but that’s if you can. Not only is Sister Location different, but it’s more difficult than the other FNAF games (Especially night 4.) so if you’re planning on doing a speedrun of this game, you better completely master your skills first, because like I said this isn’t your usual FNAF. Now, I’m not gonna go too deep in the story, but I will say that it’s very good, of course since it’s FNAF, it is dark, but it is also much more interesting than the usual lore. This is by far, the best Five Nights At Freddy’s game, it’s worth the money, it won’t feel rushed, and best of all it has very nice voice acting. The voice acting is absolutely amazing, I love how Baby talks in a calm, monotone voice, and Funtime Freddy sounds like an insane killer clown. Is there things that I don’t like about this game? Yes there is, I’m not calling the game bad, these are just a few things I don’t like about it. (I won’t say Night 4, it’s meant to be hard)

Wow, Scott! I expect great from you, but you REALLY delivered on this! Well done! It was an enjoyable and fun experience, with all the creepy characters and hilarious humor! The Custom Night update was also a good experience.

PROS:

  • The soundtrack for the game is well composed and sounds awesome too.

  • Humor is top-notch.

  • A different experience every night, which is a fantastic change.

  • All the voice actors fit their character well and do a good job portraying them.

  • The game is less focused on jumpscares and more on creepiness, which is great.

Five Nights at Freddy’s 4

I have ‘em all, I’ve played all the others, this was the one I saved for last. Now, I’m sorry to say that I was pleasantly surprised when I first played this… by absolutely nothing. There is no pleasantness, only torture.

From the second night 1 started I was filled with such a deeply permeating sense of dread that if I hadn’t had other people there with me I probably would’ve just closed out of it. I saved this one for last because I thought it looked like such a monstrously horrific night terror-esque experience that I wanted to make sure I was horror weathered, and even after I felt generally horror-comfy I still didn’t touch it until I had friends there prepared to share the bear-despair, and I was right. No surprises here, the thing that looks like a nightmare feels like one too.

Five Nights at Freddy’s 4 is the final chapter in the Five Nights at Freddy’s series, together with being the last game, it’s also the scariest game in the series as well.

The game is COMPLETELY different in the gameplay than all of the previous games, you don’t have a security camera anymore, all you have to defend yourself is a flashlight, to scare the animatronics away.

The gameplay is made in such a way, that you need to focus on the audio cues, making you to concentrate on the game carefully, making you feel like you’re a part of it all.

This game saved my life.

I am 41.

My ex-wife and I have a daughter together, and adopted our son together. They are now both 4 years old.

When we were going through our separation, I found myself lost and miserable. I was self destructive. I got so mad one day from everything spiraling out of my control that I punched some concrete in a moment of overwhelming emotion. That caused me to break my 5th metacarpal in my right hand… my working hand… my games hand.. the hand that I held and carried my children to bed with.. The hand I desperately needed to make sure I could continue to provide.

Scott Cawthon’s second and best attempt, in my personal opinion, in his animatronic pizza establishment horror series. The story is portrayed simply, and yet it is so complex. Five Nights at Freddy’s 2, or FNAF 2, truly builds off the mysterious nature that the first game established. This is the first game in the series to contain the mysterious mini games for which the series is known, that tell this dark tale, in a style that fits the games setting almost too well. The plot twist at the end is truly genius on Mr. Cawthon’s part, truly a modern masterpiece with a retro setting. - Bobert Fairfield

Dark Grim Mariupolis

Dark Grim Mariupolis

Dark Grim Mariupolis creates a point and click adventure branch of it’s own with it’s interesting theme and dialogue. Aside from the mythology, mysticismm, and pseudo-dystopian society world you can easily found yourself wrapped up in interest as you control the footsteps of Thor in this crime noir adventure. Aside from the two color simple yet elegant art style and intriguing story line this game really excels with excellent sound design. The pattering of the rain combined with the calm yet unsettling smooth background music sets the tone as you are playing a pseudo-detective role.

Its a pretty simple point & click adventure at the first glance

but then its so much more

best described as a piece of art.

And even to the gameplay doesn’t feel smooth at times I just fell in love with the dystopian feel, the references to mythology and the noir athmosphere.

Hello, hello? Uh, I wanted to record a message for you to help you get settled in on your first night. Um, I actually worked in that office before you. I’m finishing up my last week now, as a matter of fact. So, I know it can be a bit overwhelming, but I’m here to tell you there’s nothing to worry about. Uh, you’ll do fine. So, let’s just focus on getting you through your first week. Okay?

Uh, let’s see, first there’s an introductory greeting from the company that I’m supposed to read. Uh, it’s kind of a legal thing, you know. Um, “Welcome to Freddy Fazbear’s Pizza. A magical place for kids and grown-ups alike, where fantasy and fun come to life. Fazbear Entertainment is not responsible for damage to property or person. Upon discovering that damage or death has occurred, a missing person report will be filed within 90 days, or as soon property and premises have been thoroughly cleaned and bleached, and the carpets have been replaced.”

The Light Keeps Us Safe

The Light Keeps Us Safe

As amazing as the atmosphere and idea is, I can’t recommend buying this yet.

It did just launch into early access, but functionality and gameplay really is very very bare bones. The core mechanics are too simple (it’s way too easy to figure out where you need to go because every objective has near identical light setups), and the enemies are very simple and very dumb. Once you get over the “I have no idea what that is so I am scared of it” and figure out what each thing is, you realize most things aren’t much of a threat at all. There doesn’t seem to be any reason to even sneak around other than just avoiding line of sight. I’m not sure why I even need to crouch other than to break line of sight or avoid collision.

First off, I’m going to predicate this review by saying that, if you haven’t already gathered (which there’s no way you couldn’t have!) this game is in early access. Therefore, there are bound to be bugs, glitches and other things which Big Robot (the devs) will probably tweak in due course.

But with that aside, I’ve been doing a Let’s Play of this over on my Youtube channel and barring a few points of contention, so far I’m liking what I’m seeing. The game looks promising. First puzzle platformer I’ve played in years and I like it a lot. I recommend it to everyone who’s a fan of this genre. The puzzles become challenging without being overdone and the game really does a good job introducing its mechanics before using them into more intricate puzzles.

ive been a huge fan of fnaf since the first one came out. I always wanted to play fnaf vr but never did because i wanted to wait until i had vr. I just 100% the game and i can say that it was great. It is the scariest game i have ever played, but only in vr. When im not in vr it is still scary, but being inside of the game is just a completely different game. Also the dlc is a must get

I haven’t finished the game yet, however, it seems pretty cool, the graphics is promising, voice acting it perfect, story seems to fit the atmosphere… I’d never say I’m going to enjoy in any stealth game, but here I am.

EDIT: It feels like I’m almost at the end of the game, still no complaints, there was one bugged door which I went through and fell, not a big deal though… Still enjoying it!

EDIT 2: I’ve completed the game today, and I can say that I’m quite disappointed at how the game ended… Looking forward for the updates (if there will be any).

Its a great game! Decently put together, has a lot of potential. The sneaking is a really cool aspect and how you use devises is super sweet. Overall great game! Beware if you go through the door at the end boss (fountain entrance) instead of jumping off it will glitch the game making the robot spin in circles and not see you at all. Got stuck on the end for a solid 1hour and a half lol..
