Samozbor ID:HEAVEN

Samozbor ID:HEAVEN

Game provided by the Dev through my Curator Page

Samozbor ID:HEAVEN can be described as a mixture of lite resource management and race to the exit. The main goal is reaching the exit of the level to move onto the next, but you have a time limit. When you start a map, it’s daylight and enemies will randomly spawn in the map. They are your only health source, as each time you kill one, you gain 1 health. Certain enemies will also drop more powerful weapons with limited ammo. You start off with only a sword and a pistol with regenerating ammo, that only regenerates ammo when you don’t have your flashlight on. This is why I say it’s slightly resource management, at least at the beginning of the game when you don’t have more weapons.

UPDATE: June 7th 2021, I did a review on youtube on this BAD game and they gave me a copyright strike because they didn’t like the review. that was low and dirty. don’t go anywhere near this. they are horrible people.

Here’s my written review:

there’s nothing to do in this game, no objectives, no clues, only a flashlight that runs out fast, and no other batteries. it says almost all objects interactive, that’s a HUGE lie. maybe doors and a couple drawers that are ALL EMPTY and a couple phones that says “lighter fluid”. plus “you’ll get stuck behind doors, there is no save or checkpoint because there are no objective. read the game description it says. explore a spooky mansion and that’s all you get, you just walk around. this is a TOTAL RIP-OFF.

Okay so I disregarded the previous reviews and decided I’d give this a fair chance. I mean for $3 why not. I actually do not know if changes were made or if the other two just didn’t look but I found it easier to find items without the light because the little white dot is hard to see in light so you will miss an item. I only used the flashlight when it really was black and then turned it off, not sure how you were losing so much battery unless you keep it on all the time. there are other batteries in the house, and a lighter to light candles. I actually was enjoying it but then I tried saving which apparently is something you can’t do in this game, that feature is BROKEN. The phone is mistaken for lighter fluid…so not sure if you would ever need to refill or not but I was at near 100% and I lit 4 candles. Obviously I am not about to replay 45 minutes when your save button doesn’t work. You had an okay idea but fail to make a finnished product, I’ve also seen this before from another developer which makes me think you are them or just reusing someone elses stuff…refunded

ASKE

ASKE

Inspired by Quake, Hexen, Doom, Unreal and many other classics of the genre, ASKE brings back the fast-paced action and the feelings that you had back in the ’90s while shooting and slashing pixelated enemies in a wide collection of scenarios.

Far away, near death

Explore the unique locations of Aske, a hostile planet inhabited by a variety of bloody creatures such as the cleaver-armed Skeanners, the parasite-infected Headnails, the erratic Meatballs, among other living beings and environmental threats.

They shall pay with blood

A whole weapon loadout is at your disposal to make sure every corner is covered with the remains of your foes, turn the corpses of your enemies into gib pieces and delight yourself with a bloodbath while wielding melee weapons, firearms and even exotic tech weapons like the plasma gun.

The last echo from humanity

Get wrapped up in the industrial atmosphere of Romain Rope’s abstract compositions and feel the oppressing ambience of a long forgotten planet.

Trve retro experience

Enhance the nostalgia with retro mode, a carefully crafted optional setting that emulates the graphic limitations of game engines from the past era.

CULTIC

CULTIC

The first thing you’ll do… is die.

For you, however, death is only the beginning.

Tuck your guts back in and gear up to fight your way through the ranks of a mysterious and violent cult. Their wretched minds further twisted by the will of an unseen entity, you’ll find just as much lead flying back as you send, so you’ll have to run, slide, dodge, and make use of your environment to survive in this old-school-inspired shooter.

CULTIC gives you the freedom to approach combat your way. You can run in guns blazing, running, jumping, sliding, and dodging to keep out of harms way. If you prefer a slower approach, you can lay traps, let your enemies come to you, and pick them off from the safety of cover. Maybe you prefer to weave in between your foes, leading their attacks towards each other, and turning them against one another. With a full arsenal of mid-century firearms and explosives, you’ll be well equipped to slaughter everything in your path - provided you don’t get slaughtered first.

CULTIC was styled to feel like a throwback to the shooters of yore, but with the advantages of a modern engine, such as physics, lighting, and a fully 3D game world. The gameplay, audio design, and art are all stylized to create a unique experience.

Very nice game with some difficult puzzle solutions, interesting story and has a couple of timed puzzles (which I normally dislike), but those were manageable.

Real player with 4.2 hrs in game

Great game with a bewildering story. Strong ‘One Flew over the Cuckoo’s Nest’ vibes. Although rather short (about 3 h of gameplay) Insights is not quite easy, some puzzles are quite tough to find out. The only thing that bothered me was the inventory, I prefer the classic hover inventory on top or bottom of the screen. Else: very well done, exactly such dark, obscure adventure games I am looking for!

The Short of it: A fun throwback to NES era 8-bit run and gun action, but with a modern control feel that makes gameplay fast and responsive. Feels like a side-scrolling Doom in a good way; fast and dynamic play style.

Reminds me of: If you like games like Metal Slug and/or enjoy retro inspired indie titles, there’s a good chance you’ll like Cynoroid Gaiden. Also obviously reminds me of the original Cynoroid, which this is a general improvement of (still check it out if you enjoy Gaiden).
