磨难之间 SUFFERING: Reincarnation of Sins
This is my first review ever so bare with me.
I have 20 something hours on this game , i have beaten 4 BOSSES and i own 2 suffering souls so far.
I love the hard orientation of the game and the way you learn to play it.Some of the BOSSES mechanics testing my patience but i love that part to.
The graphics , the atmosphere and the music are absolutely captivating.
Lastly from impressions i like the “find yourself” strategy for each BOSS and how you manage to “Find " suffering souls.

Groove Balls
There are many VR rhythm exercise games out there - This one isn’t as flashy as most. Hit the ball with sticks or swords. Plus you can load in your own songs and it’ll detect rhythm.

Ok so this game is a strange one though it is also growing on me. Once I figure out how to position myself and recenter my headset the game became amazing. Confusing in some parts, but it is a weird mix of games like BeatSaber but add’s in some bullet hell elements almost. Over all it is a pretty amazing game letting you play your own songs and each time you play it is different.
Check out a video of me playing it (not the best i know but hey i am working on it) https://youtu.be/-bIOfrJFFMA

BoomXR
‘BoomXR’ is yet another boxing style rhythm game of the likes we have already seen lots of times before. Only this time you will be fighting invisible ninjas with punches of the corresponding colour to your fists in time with the music. The good news is the 5 tracks on offer are not terrible and the beat mapping seems to be mostly OK. You can even use your own music, but of course, the beat mapping will be terrible.
I get that £3.99 is a small price, but I just don’t think this game offers even enough content at that small price. Using the Oculus Rift I also found the punching hands off-angle and the gameplay far too frantic to be called fun. There are a few different game modes, but they are mostly all the same. It is not something I am willing to recommend just yet, but with a few improvements (especially to the learning difficulty) I could see that opinion changing.

BoomXR is a Free to Play VR Beat Boxing game. It worked on my HTC Vive system, looked ok, played ok, sounded ok. You have five default tracks included and you can add your own mp3s by making a folder in your music folder, then place them there. There is a tutorial video that you can watch of what you should strive for in the boxing training. You have options to make the game harder. Nice lobby, and you can change the color scheme. The ninjas was a nice touch, and you can turn off the ninjas. This game was paid product at one time, now it is free to play.

Terrordrome - Reign of the Legends
Absolute waste of money, would not recommend, I think I might’ve actually found the most bottom of the barrel game on here. I remember playing the demo version of this game way back in 2018 during their Kickstarter. The demo was slow and clunky and heavily filled with glitches, but since it was a demo I thought they might improve as development went on, it’s 2021 now and this game still doesn’t feel like it’s worth wasting $15, not even if it was on sale for $5. I mean what could you expect from a game that only has like 2 people working on it, 1 person working on the animations and the other working on the coding. Playing the game feels like if it’s devoid of any testers, I’m guessing that’s where the player comes in. You can tell this is one of the those half-baked, mobile games where they expect the player/buyer to report things wrong with their game so the devs could fix it while at the same time make vlogs and livestreams about their joke of a project. I’d recommend anything else, anything!

If you’re a fan of the first Terrordrome: Rise of the Boogeymen, and more importantly familiar with how to play the previous entry, you’ll find that it’s sequel Terrordrome: Reign of the Legends is worth your while. Even if you’re new to the series, this is a simple fighting game with a multitude of complex mechanics that are fun to explore.
As of writing this review, the is in an Early Access version, so understand that the game is incomplete. The developers, who consist of a small indie team, are actively working on the game and speak directly to their fans and community. So feedback is frequently received and considered.

Brutality club
Good for a quick laugh, maybe a giggle, and if it were a $1 or so game i’d say its alright but not for the $8 price range. You have very little control over your actual dude so you just flail your character around and hope to hit your opponent. Chances are that you’ll play it for maybe half an hour and be bored of it.

I thought i’d give it a go because its hard to find a decent fighting/mma game on steam, i knew it was physics rag-doll based but i wasn’t expecting it to be just random flailing with little to no control over your character.

Slash or Die
I gotta say, I really like this game. You control one of three characters (warrior, berserker and mage, although you have to complete the first boss to unlock the berserker and the second and third to unlock the mage), each with different mechanics,
stats and upgrades. Using just the mouse you can maneuver your hero and perform an attack, which costs mana, to kill enemies that keep spawning. The enemy diversity is good, each one with different attack types and harder enemies appear as you progress through the story.

This is a very disappointing game, can’t say it’s THAT bad, you decide:
+The one and only plus - battle mechanics - 1st time I’ve seen it in indiegala minigame made by the same person I guess, and what can I say - there it was WAY better - to move around you click left MB, to dash and kill you click right MB - now about the problems of the game
-You can’t dash while moving - you have to release LMB if you want to click RMB - like, what’s the problem? When a lot of enemies around you even the slight stop can kill you.

The Chaos Gene
so ive played a couple lab sessions with this game and on the edge of finding a infinite with july using his rapid jab launcher but i don’t really like the characters jump height(universal) i dislike two of the characters dashes because of the absurdly long recovery and start up times. i don’t really know how much love is in this project yet but i will say save veronica and july’s movement.

I’m loving the graphic quality on the stages and the characters. The gameplay reminded me of old school fighting games, but with a higher quality feel to the look and style. I’m definitely looking forward to seeing how this game evolves!
