I’m very impressed with the quality of image. Beside that, the story is good.

10/10 with the uncensored path (within not include in steam).

So the trailers are very honest about the kinds of things this game does that might need content warnings. Guns and blood and mental anguish and stuff. But I also kinda wanna warn people about one other thing this game does because it’s pretty unpleasant. It’s also like my favorite thing this game does so, idk, up to you if you wanna keep reading.

This game fucks with you. The pretentious way to say it would be to call Psycholonials a “challenging piece of art” which I think definitely applies but, you know, jerk off hand motion. I’m not a writer but I’ll try to find better ways to phrase this because… it’s complicated. It keeps doing this thing where it puts you on the defensive by saying something super iffy, but I think after playing the whole thing that I’ve settled on giving Hussie the benefit of the doubt that that’s intentional and making a point. It drops a lot of really big, really red flags but all of them have a more charitable reading that is good actually but requires a lot of unearned good faith reading on your part to see it.

Hi, sit down and bear with me. Keep in mind i have never felt the need to write a negative review to a game in my entire life. I am just sad.

This game is simply awful, just incredibly bad. There is nothing to like about anything except the music and SOME of the art. Jokes are bad, it’s just “2020 haha” moments and it’s boring. Seriously, i would never finish this if i played it alone, it’s not interesting. Bear with me, what is there to like about an edgy mental “celebrity” who destroys an entire country just BECAUSE? What’s to like about dumb conversations and just “oh, society is bad and i have the right to act like this because… i don’t know, i guess i can”. A lot of deaths occur simply because, too.

This game is absolutely stunning. From the portrait art, to the soundtrack (definitely would recommend adding that on if you choose to purchase it), to the amazingly well-written characters and story, this game is absolutely a gem in my collection which I have played and replayed time and time again.

Even though it’s listed as a horror, the gore is limited to the pixel sprites (which can be toggled), and descriptions - none of the CGs are graphic in nature. However, half of the fun is in finding the different ENDs to the paths Freya can choose to take, and seeing if you can discover them all (including the bonus ones). Thus, trying to think of ways to bring death unto yourself and others does end up as part of the goal.

I have played through a couple of times now and I love the story! In terms of bugs, there is only one that is of any significance to me; at the time of writing this review some of the achievements appear to be bugged, and although I have reached several “ENDs”, none of the achievements seem to have been unlocked

No matter however, I shall just wait for a hotfix and then have an excuse come come back and attempt to unlock the rest!!!

Twisted: A Dark Fairytale

Twisted: A Dark Fairytale

A fascinating, unusual visual novel (VN). Dark - even gruesome, in parts - but compelling. The shape of the story emerges relatively quickly, but leaves questions that make the reader want to unlock more information and more endings. There is always fear and running at the forefront of everything, but the protagonist (Sage) is more resilient and determined than it might seem at first. Eventually, one can feel her** compassion overriding her well-founded anxiety.

**The game allows the player to select pronouns for the protagonist: “he/him” “she/her” and “they/them”. I chose “she/her”.

This game has an excellent story line and beautiful art. I would recommend this game to my friends, as the characters were so unique and there plot is different then most others I read.

Only thing I wish was that all the achievements worked for the game and some of the bugs were fixed with the cg library

Winds of Change

Winds of Change

This is Klace’s second game I’ve played, and after completing it 100% in ~66 hours, and making a 30 episode series on Youtube to translate for my country’s language, I can give a very good recommendation of this game.

( https://www.youtube.com/c/YanWindFW para os brasileiros!)

BUY IT! I don’t care if you are a furry or not, or even don’t like furries. If you like a good story, a good visual novel, good characters' relationships, or anything. Buy it.

This game is beautiful in everything it offers:

Real player with 65.8 hrs in game

A major step up from Klace’s previous game, Major\Minor. Let’s just get that out of the way for those of you who’re wondering.

Practically EVERY aspect has been improved - the character art is way better (there’s ACTUAL different emotions for all the characters for starters), backgrounds aren’t stock images, the music isn’t stock RPG maker music either, the writing is far superior, and you do more than whack the enter key endlessly until a dual choice pops up. Oh and there’s voice acting too - pretty much everything except the narration is voice acted. It’s done by a great cast too - of note is Sean Chiplock, who seems to be really getting some steam as of late. But the other voice actors do a great job as well.

A Mortician’s Tale

A Mortician’s Tale

There are things we occasionally tend to think about, but in the same time not give them much thought. One of such things is death. An image of a final frontier every single one of us will have to face eventually, which sometimes pops up in our mind, accompanied by questions like when, in what way or what’s beyond? These few are impossible to answer in a correct way, but A Mortician’s Tale does a good job at explaining one thing. What will happen to our body?

To answer this question, the game puts us in the shoes of Charlie, a young goth-looking woman, who starts her new job at a funeral home. Without a moment to waste she receives a welcoming e-mail from her coworkers and initial instructions regarding her first assignment, which is of course preparing a corpse for its rest, while following proper medical procedures and honoring the wishes of the family / deceased. After successfully completing that part of the job, our protagonist is obligated to go out to comfort the mourners and pay her respects.

I would like to start the review off by saying that despite my negative review, I still believe this game is a great experience, and a game that should be played by people who generally enjoy these types of games, you know who you are.

The game is short, there’s not much gameplay, it’s simple point’n’click stuff. Most of your time will be spent reading what the characters have to say or are thinking, and reading through your emails each day that you play, and this is no secret.

The 4th tag for this game is “Short”, if you buy this and give it a negative review for being short then you need to stop buying games on impulse, and take at least the 3 minutes it takes to read through the store page and look through the screenshots.
