Simona’s Requiem
I like it allot!
This game has an atmosphere that is hard to come by. It reminds me of the atmosphere in games like Knytt. It’s a relaxing experience I can highly recommend. Stunning visual elements a true pixel-art adventure.
Also, a big plus for the dark humor!

I have a love-hate relationship with platformers: I really love playing them, but I get very frustrated if they are too difficult, even more so if I am completely immersed in the game. Simona’s Requiem proved to be not only a fun, entertaining and overall a wonderful metroidvania, but in terms of difficulty it also managed to find a balance between being overly challenging and ‘I can do this in my sleep’ - you know, it just constantly hits the spot which forces you to push your limits without making you want to pull your hair out.

Jeebo & Jerbo vs. Life
Well made platformer with a goofy side and a darker side. Fits the named genres well and has a well scored soundtrack. Replayability also makes this game worth the time youll be able to get out of it.

Fantastic game with an amazing world. The lore and story are phenomenal and the gameplay is very fun too. Highly recommend to anyone who enjoys funny and interesting worlds akin to that of Undertale/Deltarune (You can definitely see a lot of Toby Fox influence in the game lol)

Zapling Bygone

Tight and fair precision platforming.
-

-
Uncover the history of an alien planet by discovering and collecting digital comic strip panels that represent the memories of your skulls.
-
Responsive and fluid combat.
Explore a dangerous planet as an alien hive mind. Defeat bosses and absorb their consciousness by equipping their skulls. Uncover their memories by collecting in-game comic panels.
Upgrade your Zapling and uncover the mysteries of an alien planet. Discover what you need to save your species in this open-world 2d action-platformer.
Fast and responsive controls focused on minimising the gap between your brain and your controller. Everything responds instantly with absolutely zero horizontal inertia, and I NEVER take control away from the player. You should feel fully in control from the moment you launch the game to the moment you see the end credits. (You can even control the dancing!)
All bosses have predictable movesets that evolve throughout the battle, making them hard but fair. This creates a real sense of achievement once you slay them. Once you kill a boss Zapling collects the skull and can equip it to unlock new powers as well as the ability to tweak your current abilities by pimping it out with unique charms.
Explore a vast interconnected world littered with secrets in every room. Find game-changing charms, unique collectable statues, lore, and of course- new dance moves.
The planet is as unknown to Zapling as it is to you. Explore the somewhat-habitable planet and fight through its various threats. Uncover the dark history that left the land to be a shadow of what it once was.
Zapling may be one of last of his kind, an alien asylum seeker fleeing from his home planet that has been ravaged by war. His task is to find a new home for his species to grow again, and perhaps thrive. Could this planet be the one?
Höll Space 5D6
This game is very obviously a work in progress and there’s a lot of rough edges. However, when you look past them and forgive the unpolished technical state, you’ll find a promising project with a lot of potential that’s pretty fun to play even now.
The first episode takes place in a broken space station (or a space ship?) full of interconnected paths that are a joy to explore and to get lost in. Don’t expect any hand-holding, though. The game gives you no directions and you’re left to figure things out on your own.

The game is in early access; According to the forum, it is just one developer, but the visuals and map look surprisingly good. However, the visuals are much further along than the rest of the game. I have played all of the first episode, and it has been entertaining. There are many hidden ways to discover and find within the levels to move around and get to the different rooms and locations.
If you like to explore without handholding or, in some cases, even getting directions in a game, then this game is fun to play at this point in its development. If that is not your thing, then the game is in its current version, probably not for you.

My Night Job
Cartoon-styled side-scrolling beat’em up game with surprisingly complex and challenging mechanic.
Basically, you’re dropped just outside of some big mansion, filled with respawning monsters and “civilians”, as well as some items you can use as weapons - from umbrellas and chairs to gas baloons and everyone’s favourite - the Chainsaw!
In short, you beat monsters, gather people and led them to rescue (helipads on the edges of the mansion). For each rescue you collect some goodness, like healthkits, guns with ammo etc. After you rescue 100 people, your main goal changing to blow up the mansion, by settling some C4 in the basement. Meanwhile, as you running back and forth through the area, the monsters are growing their numbers, and if they reach some trigger point, they starting to tear the mansion apart - yeah, before you’ll be able to save everyone and leave the place.

My Night Job
My Night Job is a tribute to the classics of horror and is a nice paying occupation if you somehow live through the job. I will add a TL;DR at the end.
Gameplay
My Night Job is fairly simple as your goal is to save 100 survivors from an abandoned mansion as you are also trying to make sure you do not die and hope that the mansion is not destroyed by its monstrous guests. Do this by using various environmental objects to kill the monsters. This is not an easy game by far and there are tributes to classics all around the mansion. The tributes include the different areas of the mansion and six special survivors you can recuse which give you certain bonuses. An example of one of these is the girl from the ring which you can rescue through one of the televisions within the residence.

Necrowave
Necrowave is a game about the emotional life of a zombie stuck in a microwave. It’s a 2D platformer with critical based combat where each different enemy feels like a puzzle to solve instead of relying on brute hack & slash tactics. Almost everything in the game dies in one hit, including you. So caution and critical thinking is highly incentivized.
-Discover a dark & beautiful hand crafted world filled with secrets and mysteries.
-Enjoy a world filled with fully traditionally animated characters and enemies.
