Blind Drive

Blind Drive

What an interesting game. Blind drive puts you in the shoes of Donny… A guy who is blind folded and cuffed to the steering wheel of a vehicle and sent on his way down a highway against traffic. I will say nothing more on the story as I don’t want to spoil. Anyway, the gameplay is simple enough… You hear a vehicle on one side of the road, steer to the other! That’s not all though. The story takes some wild turns and puts you through many different and sometimes unexpected situations to test you. In all, the sound design is great and story is funny. For it’s price, I’d certainly have to recommend this insane and wacky journey. Sit back, relax, and happy steering!

It’s not everyday one discovers a new genre - and what a pleasant surprise it is!

Playing eyes closed, flat on my back with surround sound headphones and a wireless keyboard, Blind Drive is a wild narrative-driven adventure.

The sound effects and spatial design create an immersive atmosphere, complemented with excellent voice acting and often hilarious one-liners (“Give me a break; I’m driving blind! Can’t you see?"), while the graphics make a complete mockery of my 32:9 monitor.

For gamers who think they’ve seen it all, Blind Drive is like playing VR with your eyes closed.

This game is not finishable under current circumstances. The last level has a bug with some invisible obstacles that are unavoidable and knock you off of your wheelchair instantly. I’ll be happy to revise this review when this bug is fixed, because the game was okay otherwise.

Zephyr

The battle for corporate rights to planets has been organized into a fast-paced, violent battle sport where hovering combat vehicles called Zephyrs race their way to victory in the Interplanetary Battle Circuit. You are a Zephyr pilot, racing under the banner of your corporate sponsor. Now you must race, dodge and fight your way across the finish line in a battle for glory and for your life.

In Zephyr you can:

  • Choose a corporation and pilot their Zephyr, each with unique stats

  • Pilot your Zephyr in a first-person view

  • Bring down your opponents with your turret-mounted cannon

Timothy vs the Aliens

Positives: Overall, it’s a recommendation for those looking for different kind of open world 3D platformer. It’s not often we get actual noire visuals and it looks fantastic and plays well too. Lots to explore, you can get into sewers and rooftops, and even access a few buildings. Great music too. Combat gets the job done. Nothing spectacular, but still fun.

Negatives: Not much options for customization. You can use a controller or m/kb option, and both control well, but there’s no custom button layout. So you’re stuck with what they give. It works, and there’s no issue with the controller layout, but the kb/m layout is a little confusing at first. The biggest thing being that they made the reload button Q instead of R. You get used to it, but it’s an odd choice to say the least. Also, once you’re done with the game, it seems like that’s it. It doesn’t let you go back and mop up missing collectibles/achievements. Oh well.

The game is very short, and has a few frame rate issues, but overall was enjoyable. Something about it’s style and feel during game play is just appealing.

Surely worth picking it up on sale, though based off the few reviews there are, I just wanted to pay full price for the devs. You can find stuff about this game and massive changes it has gone under since at least 2016, when it was isometric. I appreciate the effort that went into this.

As you know, this game has a lot of small bugs at this stage, but the developers obviously have a passion for this game, and the update speed is also very impressive. As long as this situation is maintained, it will continue to improve, I believe that This game will not disappoint players.

Of course, I think the feedback from the players to the developers is also very important. If there are more players to express their opinions, we can see the mature games more quickly. Let’s cheer together.

While the core gameplay is moderately fun, various technical issues, developer oversights, and a translation so bad it makes 4kids look excellent; all end up marring what could be a unique and quirky game.

To start off the game is quite janky It has the love/hate physics bugs and small graphical glitches such as colliding textures, but those aren’t deal breaking if you’re used to games which can be rough around the edges. The real dealbreakers all seem fixable, but considering it’s out of early access, quite unlikely.

Titan Attacks!

Titan Attacks!

Absolutely glorious remaster of the classic Space Invaders game. Innovative, advanced, and scores of fun to be had.

When aliens living on Titan, Saturn’s moon, decide to attack, they lay waste to Earth’s military forces. Well most of it. You are the last remaining Tank Commander on Earth, and you are one bad mofo. Battle your way across Earth to stop the invasion, and then you take it to the skies as you hit the Titans' outpost on the Moon, and obliterate it. Next stop, the Titans' Martian colony. They wiped out all the little green men also and need to pay. After Mars, you find yourself on Saturn, and the enemy forces are strong. But not as strong as when you reach Titan itself, taking on the nest of the alien scourge to nearly end our way of life… and the poor Martians.

Real player with 33.9 hrs in game

Titan Attacks! is a retro, arcade, 2-D shooter where the nameless Commander fends off the Titan invasion with his trusty pixelated tank.

The game commences on Earth then progresses to new zones. Zone progression occurs when its boss is defeated. There are a total of five zones, each containing twenty levels, with their own unique design. Once all five have been defeated, it loops back to Earth, albeit with a slightly higher difficulty.

The game mechanics are fairly straightforward; aim & kill. Fortunately, that doesn’t do Titan Attacks! the justice it deserves. The mechanics conspire in such a way to exude a simple & fun experience. There are a number of boosts & improvements that can be purchased between levels to mitigate your success. For example, there are powerful area-of-effect bombs, weapon add-ons, additional shielding & more. Currency is derived from killing enemies & also capturing them. Capturing enemies adds a unique dimension to some situations, as doing so can be lethally dangerous, but extremely profitable. The Titans have a wide arsenal of ships & weapons that change in function & attitude from zone to zone, which can easily lead to your undoing if not cautious. There are bonus rounds that gauge your accuracy & reward you accordingly so keep nimble. These rounds occur between levels, after every seventh level.

Bloody Rally Show is my game of the year for 2020. It has everything I want in a racing game, from violence to an endless array of tracks to meaningful progression. It has become my favorite racing game of all time, so I implore you to try out this free version, and I hope you fall in love with it as I have.

One of the most satisfying drift mechanics I have ever experienced. Great variety of cars, each with an unique feel. Super fun daily randomly generated tracks. Super squashy pedestrians. Most stressful gaming experience ever if I lose a car and have to play as a pedestrian instead.

And all of this… For free. Man!

Dumbass Drivers!

Dumbass Drivers!

A bad option to spend your money on!

This game is trash.

Not the good kind of trash, but just a waste of time!

Here are some of the reasons why:

  • Maps are badly done, yet playable with much patience!

  • Design sucks. I mean the graphics are worse than many free games from the beginning of the 21st century, it is just bad, cheap landscaping and very low budget production overall.

  • THE GUY to the right of the screen makes me freak out. I mean WHY? Why do you add something like him? xD

You can get the achievements relatively easy, if you feel the need to get them … ( 25h)

Saints Row®: The Third™ Remastered

Saints Row®: The Third™ Remastered

If you own the Original 2011 version, play that instead. Install mods to keep the experience fresh. If you don’t own the Original, go buy it instead of this Remastered.

Much of the bugs from the Original is still there and they even introduce new ones.

The game looks beautiful sometimes, but they messed up the colors when you customizing cars or buying new clothes. Some characters don’t look as good, especially Johnny Gat and your own character The Boss. Since they only change the textures on your character, your own character is the only one looking out of place while other characters now looking realistic and you still look a bit cartoony sometimes.

Real player with 51.8 hrs in game

Average experience at best. Whole game felt less consistent and more buggy than the original. The “remastered” aspect of the game does not really shine through anywhere, except for improved lighting that makes for shinier screenshots. Needs a couple to tweaks to properly run on modern hardware because it’ll fall apart otherwise.

If you played the original, leave it at that or get that to run, the remaster is not worth buying for you.

If you have not yet played the original and really want this game, you may as well get the remaster, but expect some hassle in order to actually play the game.
