Bad Rats: the Rats' Revenge
Let’s make this clear. This game is my life. And no, this isn’t satire so grow up a little bit and understand passion when you see it. I have logged over 730+ hours and I intend to log thousands more. Not only do I play this game daily, but I put over 30+ hours a week into it at the minimum. If you can do math like me that puts it at about 4.28571429 hours a day. (no I didn’t use a calculator, I can do math in my head.) Anyone who is just staring out on steam should get this game. It’s cheap and user friendly. Not to mention is is only O N E dollar! That is incredible! I have gifted this game probably 10 times and I’ll do it again. I’m also a moderator in the Bad Rats discord, which I am highly proud of. I worked tirelessly to get that position and I think I’m close to getting admin. Anyways, no matter the type of gamer you are, Bad Rats is for you. Just don’t think you’ll ever be as good as me. Please give this game a chance to change your life like it did to mine.

I only got this game because I grew up doing puzzles and I like fantasy art. The art is typical female-based fantasy art and the pictures are nice. There are 20 different pictures. They follow the D&D and fantasy art concept that less armor is more when it comes to female characters.
To complete the 100 achievements, you have to do each puzzle 5 times. Each puzzle has 12, 24, 48, 96, and 192 pieces. Obviously, the fewer piece options are very easy. The 96 and 192 piece options take longer. Some of the 192 piece puzzles took me between 20-30 minutes. There is a hint option, but I didn’t use it other than to see what it was. You can also save the puzzle that you are working on and go back to it.

Lurk in the Dark : Prologue
The Guilty shall suffer
Lurk in the Dark Prologue is a Kickstarter demo made by one person, and soon we will be getting the first full episode – The Guilty. The Prologue sets up the start of the first episode with Marcus going to a crime scene to investigate a murder. Once there, things quickly turn array when the ghosts of his past begin to haunt him. Is this all in his head, a figment of his imagination? Is any of this even real?
There isn’t much to go on in the prologue, with bits and pieces scattered throughout the level and the ending cinematic, shedding some light on where we can expect the story to go in the full game. Also, the English is broken in certain places, like the subtitles and notes. It isn’t awful but will be noticeable at times.

This “Lurk in the Dark” has only a prologue edition, but the creator is Mr. Hamasaki Yusuke, a Japanese person, and although there are some spelling mistakes in the English notation, the “voice” of the characters I am in charge of English and Japanese, which is wonderful.
It’s a horror game with a nice atmosphere, and the stage is the “Lagurus House” where there was a report from the general public, and it seems to be quite a family in the local area.
In this prologue, the episode of Marcus Browne, a detective dispatched to the “Lagurus House” where the incident was alleged, is told.

Wild Animal Racing
One day while I was home alone sitting at my computer browsing the steam store for another hentai puzzle game to play I saw this absolute work of art known as “Wild Animal Racing”, upon laying eyes on it I was instantly taken aback by its next-generation graphics and absolutely phenomenal soundtrack that I knew I had to buy it. After downloading the game and playing it for a while, I realized that the driving mechanics rival the likes of Forza, Assetto Corsa, and Mario Kart just to name a few. Along with the extremely diverse lineup of characters ranging from a giraffe that bleats to a hippo that moos, it also brought a tear to my eye with how surprisingly in-depth the story is, it tells the juicy and lore filled tale of Hugo(Formerly Henrietta) the purple hippo struggling with his gender identity [Source] and a racing addiction searching the lands far and wide for the answer to what he truly wishes to be, when one day Hugo(Formerly Henrietta) was out roaming the streets of Zig-Zag-Zog in his new race car when a giraffe by the name of Ginger approaches him and tells him that he can give him anything he wants and more so long as he beats him in a race. After some thought, Hugo(Formerly Henrietta) takes Ginger up on the offer and is quoted as saying “I’m the best racer there is, beating you will be a breeze!” and so Ginger laughs and says “Alright, meet me on the coastal island at 3:00PM and we’ll see how good of a racer you really are.” When the next day rolls around Hugo(Formerly Henrietta) meets Ginger at the coastal island to race, telling him that he will regret the day he dared to challenge him. When the race countdown ends and the cars takeoff Ginger starts by taking the lead with Hugo(Formerly Henrietta) just barely trailing behind. Worried he will lose and be unable to obtain the answers he so desperately seeks he pleads with the Gods themselves to help him win this race, and so like a miracle sent down from the heavens a floating “?” appears on the track right in front of Hugo(Formerly Henrietta), wondering what it is Hugo(Formerly Henrietta) bracing for impact tries running into it to see what becomes of the mysterious object, and to Hugo(Formerly Henrietta)’s surprise a button with a symbol resembling a rocket appears on his center console. Hugo(Formerly Henrietta) curiously presses it to see what the odd button did and to Hugo(Formerly Henrietta)’s surprise a Firework Rocket shot out the front of his car striking Ginger’s car in one of its back wheels causing it to spin out of control allowing Hugo(Formerly Henrietta) to take the lead. After recovering from the mysterious spin-out Ginger attempts to speed up and catch Hugo(Formerly Henrietta) before he can finish the race, but to no avail. Hugo(Formerly Henrietta) had already finished the race beating Ginger and gaining himself “anything he wants and more.” After the race Ginger approaches Hugo(Formerly Henrietta) and says, “While that spin out was rather peculiar, I am a man of honor so I will grant you what you seek.” following up with “But first, I’d like to invite you on a journey across the world so that you can race to your heart’s content.” Hugo(Formerly Henrietta) without hesitation agrees to join Ginger on the so-called “journey across the world” to see where it might take him. Their first stop is Giza, Egypt, racing around the Pyramid of Djoser. After winning the race Hugo(Formerly Henrietta) who came in first, says to Ginger, who once again came in second behind Hugo(Formerly Henrietta), “That was so much fun I’m glad I decided to go on this ‘journey across the world’. Where is our next stop?” Ginger, after some thinking, replies “We’ll race in Paris, then off to Holland!” Hugo(Formerly Henrietta), is excited for this next step in the journey and says “Let’s do it!” After arriving in Paris and going to the race they realize that they will also be racing against a lion, a zebra, and a rhino. Of course, this will be no trouble at all for Hugo(Formerly Henrietta) and Ginger, two of the greatest wild animal racers of all time. When the race ends Hugo(Formerly Henrietta) and Ginger once again win the race with Hugo(Formerly Henrietta) coming in first with Ginger just behind him in second. After they finish the race in pairs they immediately move on to the next and last step in the journey, Holland. Once again when they arrive at the track in Holland they see the lion, zebra, and rhino that they had met just before the previous race and are immediately overcome with joy knowing the race wouldn’t be a problem. So once again they win the race with Hugo(Formerly Henrietta) coming in first and Ginger just behind in second, solidifying their place as the world’s greatest racists.

BlueberryNOVA
Story
In this very short romance-themed visual novel, you play as a ♀️ (1st person) who is entering a new school. There are 2 girls to choose from, but you’re not forced to get into a romantic relationship with any of them. Unfortunately, you don’t get to spend much time with anyone. The main events pass by very quickly, while the in-between moments are usually just a few sentences long as if they’re almost asking to be ignored. Unless you’re just aiming for the sexual scenes (which are also very short), the pace of the story is too high. Which caused me to not feel much of the romance factor.

Unfortunately I can’t recommend BlueberryNOVA.
Although there are some nice aspects, like the art style of the main charakters or the fact that this VN is completely yuri themed and you don’t have to bother with any male protagonists that disturb your reading experience.
The story overall feels rushed and not believable (so are the main characters).
There are too often background changes after only 2 or 3 (or even less) lines of dialogue, which seems somehow inharmonious. To make it even worse, the backgrounds are very inconsistent in their art style (some of them are drawings whilst others are photographs).

YOU and ME and HER: A Love Story
When I was first introduced to Visual Novels, I had no idea which ones would be to my liking until I got my hands on the novel itself. Kimi to Kanojo to Kanojo no Koi (or YOU and ME and HER) was a visual novel I found years ago and, yet, could never try. Despite how few information and videos there were of the novel at the time, I was completely hooked on what I could find and wanted even more. No matter how much I saw, it saddened me how I would not be able to play this game.
Ever since, I had hopes and believed in a small miracle that one day, I would be able to read this game. For each year that passed, that hope would diminish until I accepted it would stay where it is forever.

This game is absolutely AMAZING. At first I was skeptical. I seen it on the front page of Steam, and I seen it had the tag of Psychological horror on it. I instantly remembered playing DDLC and it got me excited. I seen the price, and was hesitant about the purchase, but honestly it’s the BEST VN game I’ve ever played! I’m not very big into VN since most seem to be absolutely trash, but I looked at reviews and seen everyone praising the Steam release. I decided to just try it, and if it didn’t go anywhere I was going to refund it.

Dark Fantasy 2: Jigsaw Puzzle
tl;dr: puzzle game to calm down after a stressful day. Can be played one-handed, but this audience is better served elsewhere. This is art, not some cheap manga stuff. @Devs: waiting for Dark Fantasy 3, 4, 5 and counting, will definitely buy them too!
Long version: Relaxing puzzle game, second installment, which is better in any aspect than its predecessor. You can play 24 aesthetic fantasy images which are of high and consistent quality and you can split it into more pieces to increase the difficulty.
– Real player with 13.2 hrs in game
If you like puzzles and you liked the first game, you should like this one. If you are a puzzle traditionalist, go buy a real, physical, tabletop puzzle since you might not like the fact that you can’t rotate pieces or put pieces together outside the main puzzle itself. However, being able to rotate pieces would also make the puzzle much more difficult for a number of reasons.
My only complaints are the same as the first game. The boards and some areas of the puzzles can be very dark, making it hard to even see if a piece is missing. And you can still just move pieces all over the board until they finally find a home.

Major\Minor
Take it from someone who’s played this all the way through: do not buy this game, even as a joke.
This game is bad. Amazingly bad. It’s so bad it’s almost a religious experience, and the only thing that is stopping me from recommending you play it anyway so you can see the garbage fire for yourself is that the developer is a terrible person and doesn’t deserve your money.
So buckle in boys and girls, because do I have a review for you. This review will be spoiler-heavy, as a heads up. Now, where to start?
– Real player with 51.9 hrs in game
I’m going to preface this by saying I don’t outright hate this game. The reason I get so angry below is because it had so many good things going for it, so many clever little moments that I loved, and then just ended up being, in my opinion, a lot of wasted potential.
Okay … so the description of the game straight up tells you that this game was heavily inspired by persona, of which I am a huge fan, and I’ve always had a soft spot in my heart for games with talking animals. This game should have been a match made in heaven for me, and for a little while, it was. This game starts off just fine. Conceptually, I loved it. The switching between two worlds, entire universe hanging in the balance, characters are likable enough and I wanted to know more about their backstory (something that I truly regretted thinking for reasons I’ll explain later). All of these elements were VERY Persona esque and it’s enough to sucker a fan of the series in.

Bad Rats Show
I got this game while I was in still living with my roommate, Joey. He was a bit of a spazz, due to his autism but, my cousin was like that and I could deal. We lived together for about 2 years, and nothing really went wrong. He did fine, socially, and so did I. On like the last day I was gonna be living there, in a drunken haze with a few of my friends that we decided to do a really shitty prank of sorts on him. Basically, my friend Rashawn had a rat infestation go on and he decided to save the rat corpses to just throw them on someone and we decided it would be funny to do it then on Joey. Joey was out doing some project or just chilling with friends, idk. He’d usually just chill with the people in art school. We just hid in the house, he got home a bit earlier than usual so we had to improvise and just hide in a closet or two and wait for him to get to his room and spring our trap. After waitin a bit, we came out of the closet to see him playing some game on the computer, it was perfect. We crept forward and just dumped the rats on him, then proceded to jump around screaming “WAKA FLOCKA, WAKA FLOCKA, WAKA FLOCKA, WAKA FLOCKA, WAKA FLOCKA FLAME BRIIIIIIIIIIIIICCKKKKSQQQQQQQUAAAAAAAAADDDDDD.”

I’m sure if you’ve looking at this particular store page you have already know that Bad Rats Show is in fact a very bad game. You’ve looked at all the people who have played it for 20 minutes and had a nice chuckle at all the funny anecdotes on how broken and ugly this game is.
This review however will be in fact an actual review of this game judging it’s merits and faults.
For those unaware of the history of this franchise Bad Rats is a notorious game on Steam that became the joke of many users. Often during Steam Sales or even at full price people will buy this game in bulk and send to all there friends as a “gift”. Of course anyone who would actually play Bad Rats will almost immediately realize the extremely low quality, terrible performance and awful graphics. Now because of the huge amounts of sales this game have gain due to this little inside joke the developers of Bad Rats decided to bless us with it’s sequel: Bad Rats Show.
