Misery Street
I’m still not very far into the game, but it’s pretty good.
It runs insanely poorly for how graphically simple it is. I have no idea how a game this simple can run that bad unless it’s doing crypto mining or something.
The PLC-as-currency thing is a little bit “Hey guys, can you tell that I played Lisa?” The EP Snails (is that what they are?) are at least slightly altered while clearly being an Earthbound reference.
The “maybe I should get a job” dialogue with the Hobo Grey kind of irks me. Even if it wasn’t a cliche joke that makes no sense in the setting (he’s in a tiny farming village plagued with both a serial killer and a continuous undead infestation in the fields), it would still be a crass misrepresentation of homelessness fit for the scribblings of an elementary schooler.

RB: Axolotl
STORY
Like most visual novels, RB: Axolotl is narrative-heavy. That being said, it’s difficult to discuss the story without just spoiling things. I will preface with this: the game starts out at a bright, cheery tone that it does not keep up with. The characters are colourful, cute axolotl, and we spend our first few hours getting to know them differently coloured amphibians. Axy, Enc, Nio, Liam, and Lanna are all residents of the tank, and you quickly learn that things there are a tad bit strange. The axolotl doesn’t need to eat and require very little sleep, for starters, and also don’t seem to age.

There is a certain extremely non-specific type of games, which are usually grouped together,—not for the reason they are similar enough to warrant such categorization but rather because they are that dissimilar from anything else and share some characteristics, like fourth wall breaking, meta-narrative shenanigans, plot twists of ultimate proportion and general mindf++kery. So, precisely this way RB: Axolotl can be compared with other visual novels like Hatoful Boyfriend that is mentioned in other reviews quite a few times. However, frankly, I don’t believe that such comparison does RB: Axolotl enough justice. RB:A excels in doing its own thing and I find this thing pretty much unique.

Emo Simulator
Emo Simulator
This game gives you an ability to feel yourself an emo. The character’s story is that he is a 19 years old college student who is heavily bullied and not understood by anybody. The game was inspired by Beyond: Two Souls, Life is Strange, and films of Zvyagintsev and Bykov.
We plan to have dialogues, plot, cutscenes and interactive movie style cameras. The plot will have two endings, good and bad.
This is a plot-based game, by subculture developers, for subculture players. By this project we want to tribute to emo culture which we appreciate, we want o create something, relatively relatively (to other emo games) quality about Emo, a one-stop game for all emos, a serious a dramatical game that would become a part of this culture’s legacy.
We want raise important social issues in this game, like an issue of unmotivated agression towards people who are different from main population and what it leads to.
The game does not encourage suicide, just like shooters do not encourage shooting people.
We state it clear: we are against suicide, do not do it.
Features:

If i could give just one tiny ( or actually HUGE LMAO LOL) recommendation please its would be to PLEASE add a THE GIANT SKELETON MODE! PLease it would be so cool if the skeliton grew and crushed us with his CROOKED foot. But over all good game.

Honestly one of the greatest games of our generation. One can’t even imagine to know how someone would come up with such pure gold. Negative reviews are honestly just too ignorant to even begin to comprehend how great of a MASTERPIECE this game is!

NOISZ
It was about time I write a proper Review of one of my favorite Video Games in Existence.
‘Kay here I go.
NOISZ is a Masterpiece.
I love 99.99% of it.
But with the upcoming 2.5 Update, it shall be over 9000%, hahahah funny meme.
Alright more details.
Story is very well-written and engaging.
Though when you gather absolutely all the Events of both NOISZ and re:||VERSE and analyse, there can be some oddities in the Continuity.
NOT SPOILING !
The Origin of it are Plot Twists, obviously.
At least, we don’t reach Kingdom Hearts level of Absurdity.

The description pretty much explains about this game: this is a mix of bullet hell and rhythm game. Now, a similar, much more popular game of “avoid these things that come out in sync with the music” is Just Shapes & Beats, but there’s a fundamental difference between NOISZ and Just Shapes & Beats. Just Shapes & Beats is just a plain bullet hell game that happens to have good music; you don’t need to have a sense of rhythm to excel in it. On the other hand, NOISZ is also a rhythm game. In NOISZ, you can only take an action every beat, which means despite all the bullets coming at you, you must maintain that rhythm in your head.

The Cursed Forest
I originally played this game when it was released and posted my thoughts in a review at Just Adventure. It is still accessible even though the site is dormant. At the time, I gave The Cursed Forest high marks.
I just finished replaying the game and my intention was to run through and pick up the achievements I had missed. Instead, I became totally absorbed and played a ‘new game’ all the way through.
The game begins with you receiving a phone call in the middle of the night and rushing off in your car. You are in a hurry and end up crashing in a mysterious forest. Your task is to find your way out. The Cursed Forest has been created in great detail with cabins, swamps, cliffs, lakes, campfires, caves, etc. There is a lot to explore and you quickly find that no people remain in the forest (only their possessions and homes are evident). The story of what happened to them is discovered in dozens of notes that you find along your journey.

This game has a lot of problems; it is mainly an exploration game, but areas are big and secrets are sparse. Achievements are fine, I didn’t use a walkthrough and found all of them but two on my first playthrough (and the other two I didn’t find accidentally, I almost did). However, if you like exploring, like me, there isn’t enough in this game to keep you invested with exploration, and you’ll end up getting bored. In addition, there is a bug that makes some notes not appear where they should (I’m not even sure why, seems to be a random thing), and you can lose a lot of time searching for them, not realizing it was a bug (if you miss one note on Section 1 and one on Section 4, try restarting the section; also, the last section says there are 9 Sarah letters, but there are only 7, according to developers).

A Moustache in the House
It’s a simple idea, and it’s fun. The art style of this game is original and it makes for a perfect eerie feel to the game. I enjoyed it.

I very much enjoy this game. It is very simple, but it is done right. My only complaint is that there are a few bugs that need to be ironed out. Sometimes the buttons don’t make sounds and the doors are a little finicky. However, there is a bug that really needs to be fixed. I cannot get to Level 3 because every time I grab the fuel for the minecart in level 2 and put fuel in it, I get teleported back to the minecart before it started moving. I redid the level like 3 times and the same bug continued to happen. Besides this one major bug I found the game to be amazing. It is a great combination of silliness and horror and I cannot wait to play Level 3. Definitely a hidden gem.

Volt Patrol - Stealth Driving
This is a small jewel of a game! It’s challenging yet at time oddly relaxing. I love the visuals, the minimalistic designs are obviously intended as a nod to the graphics of the early arcade games of the 80’s. Also beautiful and atmospheric music. The game is short but worth the price. Support independent game creators!

Moko’s Advice
TLDR;
! It’s a series of textboxes prompting you to select textbox 1 or 2. You either enjoy the content of the textboxes and presentation or you don’t. The lack of any real game mechanics other than get to the end and a lack of depth that means this review is more in-depth than it, means that it largely feels like wasted potential and makes it hard to justify it as a game even. It’s more like interactive comedy. I recommend it for the experience if it looks enjoyable to you or if the comedy strikes a chord with you. It’s most probably less than 20 minutes to playthrough and free, at least worth a try.

Moko’s Advice is a text game with a minimum of graphics and an attempt to make an interesting story, as well as to build some kind of plot. Frankly, I’m not very attracted to text games, but I played some games and remained a fan, it didn’t catch me much, there are spoilers here, so I won’t talk much.
It is free, so try playing, I’m sure there will be people who like it a lot, which is basically good.
