Hex Commander: Fantasy Heroes
First of all some critics claim that this is a pay to win which simply is not true. You’ll get more resources than you need to complete it just by playing it (you really do not need to spend any money on it unless you want to support the devs). This is one of those rare games that really lives up to it’s 5/5 rating.
True value 10-15 £.
Although the size of the battles are mostly small to mini this is a true contender for best game of the decade. I’ve played it back to back, all the campaigns and every scenario, over and over again. It is that good!

Great little game if you like turn based games.
No need to spend any cash either which is a bonus.
You can achieve highest levels on mage and alchemy very quickly just by playing the easy levels.
Major in magic and seige and do the hard levels to raise them to full rank.
Do the levels on extreme and you can have full skills to fight final boss.
And not a penny spent, took me a week to finish the game and very enjoyable it was too.
Now don’t get me wrong, not everyone’s a grinder, so please free to support the effort put into this game by purchasing some gems.

Ruin
I’m only 4 hours in. The game is in the earliest form of alpha it could possibly be in. I personally love to watch games develop into something and even take part in the community that helps direct what the game turns into.
That being said it is rough, it has a long way to go until it becomes a fully playable game but it has a ton of potential with a runescape/rimworld feel. I like the base of what the game is and look forward to the progression of the game.
If your into early access games, you can’t really beat it for the price. Especially if the developer continues the project and puts the work that’s needed.

The Great Fantasy Struggle
I wouldn’t neither recommend or not recommend this game. The game is very specific. You can see game trailer and everything is in the trailer. You need to add your missioners or warriors to take over other provinces. They fight by them selves. All you need is just to add them in the right time. Sometimes you can build structures in your home city. It provides you with global bonus. Statistic window helps you to see global data but it takes time to understand how to use it.
Use space bar for pause. Actually don’t even think to play it before you read manual. Read it first, play the game and read manual again. The game is not intuitive. You need to struggle to understand how to play the game but once you get it you are good ( as you learn how to play the classic chess ).

The description of this game is misguiding, but this does not necessarily mean that the game is bad. It is not a deep or complex strategy, it requires only high attention to thoroughly and constantly check the state of provinces. The main problem is time restriction. I think, it requires a little bit of thought how to distribute the funds to achieve goal of the campaign. It may be interesting to people who like to find approaches to achieve a certain goal, but if you look for a turn-based game, operations on strategic level or micromanagement, this may not be the right choice.

King’s Reign
Welcome to King’s Reign:
The Fantasy Kingdom Builder. Are you ready to lead your people to glory? If so, know this - ruling a fantasy kingdom is no easy feat. You will have to consider many factors, and decide the best course of action, so your loyal subjects can stay happy, safe and satisfied. Build your kingdom:
provide housing for your people, and expand your cities using a wide range of buildings with different functions.
Upgrade your buildings:
Make sure to upgrade your buildings whenever you can, as doing so provides better services for your subjects.
Take care of your people:
Observe their needs and make sure they are satisfied. Happy citizen is a hard-working citizen.

Good Luck my King. You’re going to need it. Thalendaar, while beautiful, is full of many dangers and mysteries.
Monsters Domain
https://store.steampowered.com/app/1505940/Orc_Warchief_Strategy_City_Builder/
https://store.steampowered.com/app/1562030/Ronin_Samurai_Redemption/
Your objective is to stop any visitors to your Monsters’ Domain. Start from simple monsters and skeletons and with time build up your defences. You can play any monster from your army and give them specific orders to follow. Every killed hero makes them stronger and gives you an opportunity to equip them better or develop new skills or monstrosities. You can reanimate fallen intruders or collect pieces of your slain warriors and research new ways to use it.
Develop your preferred Style. You can focus on specific Style or mix them together to create a unique army of loyal Monsters. Choose from Necromancy, Vivisection, Mutation, Runes, Elixirs, Talismans, Forge, Techie, Strategy, Roguery, Drilling or Sorcery and different schools of Dark Magic.
Grow your beasts and monsters, make them unique or identical with others to unlock specific skill trees, upgrades and abilities. Combine unique equipment and skills and create your Bosses or Swarms.
Styles are complex systems focused on specific areas but combined with others allow to create more powerful weapons and upgrades. The vivisected finger of the mage combined with some elixirs can be a very powerful upgrade for your simple skeleton. Reanimated corpse of a fallen hero with some fresh mutations and newly forged weapons can make a really nice new Boss for your realm.
Loot all you can as bodies decay and some treasures can be lost to nasty imps or other thieves. Store you treasures as a lure for visitors or forge them into powerful objects. Every piece matters. Study new materials and runes, develop schematics for your traps and devices, collect limbs, flesh and bones for your experiments and new creations.
Learn and experiment. The way your monsters kill new heroes can be entertaining but also eye opening. Develop your Strategy and new Roguery tricks. Teach your zombies to play dead (sic!) or Drill skeletons to fight in formation. Experiment in your Forge with loot and spells and combine them into unique crafting materials.
Do all you can to defend you Monsters’ Domain!
Make America Great Again: The Trump Presidency
Started the game, made a cup of coffee and got a call to go pick up my kid who was sick at school, forgot I left it on, went to to pick the kiddo up.
When I got back, the debt was totally gone, ISIS was eliminated, the game was already won, and I had every achievement.
No one was home while I was gone.
Trump won the game all by himself. Even changed my PC’s name to TRUMP.

Despite the constant negative press covfefe
Make America Great Again: The Trump Presidency is probably all what you’d expect; and I hope I don’t step on any trump sympathizers during this review.
It has violence, trading and “investing” and fucking up the world while still getting away with it.
Trumps thumbs up
A fun little game based on humour and satire.
Great use of voice quotes.

Shadows of Forbidden Gods
TLDR - Great, unique Lovecraftian turn-based grand strategy game.
The player takes on the mantle of one of multiple eldritch gods with different play styles, bent on bringing their particular brand of apocalypse. The first unlocked god is the most simple - She Who Will Feast, a giant snake that focuses on corrupting heroes and rulers through “enshadowing” them. She starts weak, without a real worldly presence, before awakening, destroying civilised lands and ultimately eating the world. Other gods include Iastur, the Laughing King who focuses on spreading madness to all, Vinerva a god representing nature’s bounties but with a serious catch, Mammon (unreleased at time of writing) who offers great material wealth for the small price of eating people and Ophanim (unreleased at the time of writing) who offers mankind salvation from the aforementioned enshadowment but at the cost of their autonomy.
