A Quiver of Crows
@C.:
_Les mouches bourdonnaient sur ce ventre putride,
D’où sortaient de noirs bataillons
De larves, qui coulaient comme un épais liquide
Le long de ces vivants haillons.
Tout cela descendait, montait comme une vague,
Ou s’élançait en pétillant ;
On eût dit que le corps, enflé d’un souffle vague,
Vivait en se multipliant._
A Quiver of Crows game. You, as a flying being, ‘a crow’, shooting with some lasers into some relentless ever-respawning undeads of various sorts.

This game needs some reviews, so I want to do a 2-hour first impression. The art in this game is astoundingly well developed. It wordlessly creates a lot of ambience as you fly your way through abandoned playgrounds and discarded remnants of civilization as a new dawn approaches a terrible day…
You play a freaking bird with laser weapons. If you’re still reading this, you want this game. It’s hard. Quite hard, but it can be enjoyed in bursts of 10 minutes or a whole rage inducing hour. The controls are extremely tight, and the weapons and enemies are all interesting. My favorite are the basic enemies, which I call the “Dental Association” as they chomp me to bits.

Time management, memory challenges, observation, resources management and gravity mastering are some of the skills needed to proceed with the story.

NOSTALGIA
Composed in a retro-futuristic setting, the discrete but penetrating music plays an enormous role for the cocktails of emotions that each area has to offer.
An old radio that plays a forgotten tune of a distant time, or a VHS tape that reveals a hint if the protagonist’s obscure past.
MADE IN GREECE

Bombing Quest
First of all the game keeps the good old bomberman feeling when you’re in the battle. Great work, guys. Having that with the amazing, mystical atmosphere, the RPG elements and the funny side kick in an epic storyline is something that needs to be played. Everything in the ancient conflict has its reasons, and in the end it’s hard to choose a side to like more. Intensity and tons of bombs during battle. Mystical areas and strange, and interesting characters when walking the world. There are some minor stuff, that need more polish, but nothing, related to the gameplay. I expected the game to be good, but the result impressed me, it really rocks!

Full disclosure: I discovered the game through a streamer, then found the Discord of the devs and was lucky enough to receive a key for it. I am now the community manager for the game. That’s how much I liked it :)
Bombing Quest is really a game that I did not know I needed. I have fond memories of playing older Bomberman games and I can’t say that I once thought it needed to be made into an rpg, but now that I know it exists, I wouldn’t want to live without it!
The game is still in EA, and although the community on the Discord is still small, the devs are there every day and are available to chat. They really take into account community feedback. I hope this review is going to get more people to join the Discord and offer more feedback so that we can help make this the best game it can ever be!

Demonicon
Information / Review English
The Dark Eye: Demonicon is an action role-playing game developed by Noumena Studios.
Gameplay / Story
Two decades before the start of the actual plot, Borbarad, a powerful magician, covered eastern Aventuria with undead and corruption. Borbarad fell during a battle and his demon crown, the symbol of his rule, shattered. The so-called shadow lands emerged from his territory. Various warlords fought for the shadowlands until warriors of the goddess Rondra freed the city of Warunk from necromancers and the like.

I’ve seen a fair amount of negativity surrounding Demonicon since its release - which is what has kept me away from the game until a recent sale. Having just beaten the game this morning, I feel very comfortable recommending this game to RPG fans, or anyone looking for a unique and enjoyable story.
Demonicon’s strengths lie in its commendable use of The Dark Eye universe, it’s RPG & skill systems, the creative and thoroughly engaging story line, the focus on narrative and characters, and a well implemented choice system that affects the story and game world.

Animus: Revenant
Unbalanced, slow and laggy trash.
– Real player with 2.0 hrs in game
Is this a bad game? I dont think so but it feels very rough. I personally would not recommend it based on other big title souls-likes and even smaller titles. It would of course be unfair to compare it to Dark Souls but even compared to the smaller titles I just feel as though it needs more polish.
My concerns are the lack of a proper roll, the lack of keyboard support, some poor telegraphs and bit unfair enemy tracking. Biggest thing is probably ranged enemies can hit you from off screen and you’ll have no idea where they are given the fixed camera.

BERSERK and the Band of the Hawk
DO NOT BUY this game unless you are a huge Berserk fan (buy it on sale).
Cons:
-Its a game focused on extreme repetition, killing and killing thousands of extremely weak masses of enemies. Slash, repeat, slash repeat every single level.
-You need to play it on hard right from the start to find it a little bit more enjoyable and even then it is almost impossible to lose in any scenario.
-Scenarios have nothing special on them, they are closed, completely plain and need no exploration at all. Very repetitive.

This is a game for Berserk fans, if you’re after a more filled out hack and slash game there are better options out there. I enjoyed myself playing this title but I’m an old Berserk fan. Like similar games in the genre it can get boring once you beat the story and try out the other modes just slashing apart humans & monsters repeatedly, the different play styles of characters and the various objectives do make it more interesting, and it is a great title like others in the genre to play while watching or listening to something on the side.
