The idea/concept is unique however with the way tasks are designed, where it focuses heavily on menial tasks/lots of micro..and random RNG events that can kick in - which should make your gameplay experience interesting but in actual fact, just turns your game into a total chaos mess crap.

There are certain aspects of the game - that just makes it “feel” bad. I also dont understand why it has to incorporate “bubble head” effect into the product. Does it give better gaming experience? With the current game feel, it gives motion sickness.. Sigh. The potential for this product is huge but in my standards, falls average.

Interesting concept; being able to search and confiscate at your leisure is a fun little power trip, I enjoyed cutting a deal with a prisoner to let him smuggle in his contraband, and I’ll admit being able to name and model the prisoners after people of your choosing is a nice perk. But the gameplay itself is pretty awful.

For starters, I spent most of the time trying to chase around a fellow guard to start a side quest, since the guard wouldn’t stop walking and the talk button would only work for a fraction of a second before he was out of range again. Once the quest was done, it was back to chasing the guard around to collect my money. Initiating the quest and collecting the reward at the end should not require more skill and time than the quest itself, yet this felt more like a game of playground tag with guards and prisoners than anything else. When you’re not playing tag, you’re doing such menial tasks as repeatedly hitting arrow keys to do 12 reps on the bench press (while the prisoners who hate you are seen kindly letting you get your workout in unharmed?) or clicking to open and then close all four flaps of a cardboard box to search it (while half the items glitch and stick out of the box or sit outside it entirely.) If you get bored of this, there’s some poorly-mechanicked darts and basketball to “enjoy” instead.

“disgraceful caricature of us truecels”

Read the whole demo and i gotta say im not surprised at all what I read. Its another piece to put down lonely men in their 20s for not having success with women. The game has the same narrative that most media has on incels or adult virgin men. They are all either mass shooters waiting to happen or just smelly neets in their mother’s basement, while the game attempts to sound smart with its quotes from Otto. Notice how no where in the game a woman seems irrational. Of course that can change when they release the whole game but i highly doubt they will show the ugly side of women in todays society cuz truly lonely men are the worst of our race right? Normies will never understand the lonely male which is why they will just throw all of them in the extreme category of the incel group. Congrats on the cringey ass demo cant wait for the whole game so i can shit on it and laugh more

Is a novel, no a game-novel, rather full novel with no relevant decisions. The following comment is therefore a review of the plot (No Spoilers).

This stuff is not for everyone, hardcore incel issues, 90% of the characters are assholes (except for Jhon, love that bastard), thick text, references to a certain goverment in Germany in the 1930´s, and so on. However, I would argue the plot is pretty well done, the conflict of the main character is real, the characters are all flesh-made weak-but-true people and one can even extract an idea or two from this philosophy-elevated 4chan rant. The backgrounds and the music are perfectly aligned with the plot and so on.

Prison Simulator

Prison Simulator

Prison Simulator, although incredibly silly, has a decent amount of depth to it that makes it very rewarding and dynamic.

In this game, you play as a guard, and can either be law-abiding, or corrupt and self-profiting. You have options in regards to everything. You can be forgiving to prisoners, or unnecessarily cruel (even guards).

Every character has unique behavioral elements that might make them react to different situations in a variety of ways. Fires can break out, as well as fist fights. Prisoners hide contraband in their cells, that if you find, you can either confiscate officially, or keep for yourself, off the record. I loved having the choice. Especially because you have to make sure no one sees you snagging any goods.

I think the gameplay is just great and it’s a lot of fun, even the videos for the prologue on YouTube were very entertaining. This game shows you the other side of all the escape games and that’s cool.

Madden NFL 21

Madden NFL 21

If you’re looking for a realistic football simulating video game that gives you a half-way authentic NFL experience….keep looking. This year’s installment of the annual abortion that is Madden is BRIMMING with impactful bugs, scarily consistent crashes, and (assuming you’ve successfully navigated thru all of that) an entirely bland and unsatisfying simulation of the typical NFL game. Not only has this game been horribly adapted to PC, but it is entirely consistent with it’s long line of predecessors. The gameplay can only be described as “The Game of Football” according to what a native resident of Bangladesh heard of American Football was like from his Pen Pal in Saudi Arabia. Yes, you are technically running and passing the football against some character models that vaguely resemble (that’s an understatement…there’s really 0 resemblance among all of the players) NFL athletes, but the comparison to how a normal game of football plays out stops there abruptly. Without wildly changing the “Gameplay Sliders” (yes you can literally alter everything about the gameplay which to me is the Devs admitting “hey we really don’t know how impactful any aspect of this sport is so we’ll let you figure out that little detail) the game is wholly inauthentic. Adjusting the sliders makes the game a tad more realistic but overall this title is the epitome of why Madden is one of the shining examples of bare minimum effort put into a game for the sake of raking in annual sales. If you’re not one of the chumps like me who bought this game I implore you not to. The only way these games can become even halfway realistic is if EA takes a hit to their sales and recognizes that minimal investment will yield minimal return.

For years, football fans have yearned for a game with NFL licensing made by any company other than EA. The most cited competitor is generally 2K, who last made an NFL licensed game in 2004 - ESPN NFL 2K5 - one of the most well-received sports games of all time. ESPN NFL 2K5 was almost the nail in the coffin for Madden. The game received more critical acclaim than Madden 2005, while being priced $30 cheaper at a mere $20. I received the game as a Christmas gift that year, and played it for hundreds, if not thousands of hours. I can attest that its ambitions even 16 years ago were way beyond the scope of anything Madden has done since then. It is truly a tragedy for someone like me, who saw so much potential in football games back then, to see what football games have become today.

Garbage

Garbage

In depth at first– TL;DR at the end.

Ok, so, I have beaten this game right before the thirty hour mark and what do I have to say. It’s good. But, it’s bad. And, what I mean by this is simple as any other problem found with games similar in case. The basic lay out is very nice, no lie– if you played Monster Rancher or the Digimon games, you’ll like this. If you like Darkest Dungeon or Dark Souls, you’ll like this. If you like AoE, Civ, Banished, Endzone and so many other games like these, you very well may end up liking this. This is a resource management, unit grinding, hardcore rpg adventure.

THIS GAME IS INCOMPLETE DO NOT BUY!

To start, it is an auto save function with no choice of you being able to save except what the game claims.

A few mechanics that makes this game just terrible, it is an auto attack, pick your moves and let it play out type of game. It gives a false advertisement that you get to “pick your fighter” and develop like an RPG. NOPE! You assign moves, everything plays out, characters can get stuck walking in circles as you get beat up. Any settings you adjust in the options menu, resets every game.

The Night Way Home | 帰り道

The Night Way Home | 帰り道

The Night Way Home | 帰り道 was a fun experience. It’s definitely a good game, with a lovely story, but also needs quite some polishing…

The first big thing to talk about, is the panic meter, which is a pretty cool mechanic. Stay calm unless you want the spirit to know exactly where you are. What I would’ve preferred though, is that it was a little more punishing. For me, there was no real “fear” when I was panicking, you just start dodging the spirit while going to your objective, and that’s pretty much it. I would’ve preferred if it were a bit more “stealthy”, which would’ve made the whole experience a lot more rewarding.

Wth Chillas Art? I’ve enjoyed the majority of their titles, especially the atmospere and slow build.

Here there is no atmosphere, no build up, instead of which we get infuriating gameplay. Being harrassed by ghosts and constantly running away from objectives in maze like enviroments. After an hour I am much more annoyed than scared.

You want to get somewhere or do something, getting a ghost in your way, having to run around like crazy (because they are fairly fast), round round ‘til it chills down, and then hopefully get something done or find something new.

Too Many Humans

Too Many Humans

Too Many Humans is a Real Time Strategy game, but instead of controlling the army, or a private security force as is often the case in such games, this time you are controlling zombies! Sounds good right!

Let’s take a quick look at the official story.

“You are Phthisis, the God of pestilence, decay and death. Humanity has degraded too far into greed and is causing irreversible damage to Gaia; your dear sister, and their planet. Something has to be done. But like every god, you have rules (omnipotence gets boring otherwise): you are not allowed to directly kill humans. But you can raise them back from the dead. And if the living ones die because of this… Eh shrug.

Too Many Humans is an RTS where you are Pthisis, the God of Decay who is on Earth to eradicate mankind with your zombie army but only because Humanity has exploited the Earth, one another and everything else they could get their greedy hands on. And you’re here to end this awful reign with questionable methods that are for the benefit of the planet, and everything else except maybe for mankind.
