Funny game. I like that you can defeat your enemies by trapping them into a toilet. Also it’s fun to play soccer while fighting. Great fun hilarious casual fighting game to play with a friend

Dave-Man

Dave-Man

A simple story about a simple man, that just wants his everyday routine not to be ruined. A story, that many of us could tell.

Once you’ll start to play Dave, you will soon find out that there is a quite some background for this well made tribute to a Pac-man like games. I was simply amazed with the amount of all the dialogues, options, hidden jokes and obvious puns, all accompanied with great chiptune music. The music itself makes a huge work here as well, as many times I have just realized that I am humming the tones along with my head nodding to the rhythm.

Dave-Man is a charming retro-style game that taught me to despise anyone named Cathy! (for real, there is something very satisfying about getting caught out by her for the 15th time and exclaiming ‘GOSHDARNIT CATHY’ while smacking your desk). The gameplay is heckin fun, reminds me of my terrible attempts at Pac-Man when I was a wee lad but with cool extra stuff like online shopping and cats!!!The music is delightful, love the chiptune sound and it is there to comfort you when you inevitably get caught because you tried the hardest difficulty room. The end of a run is a really nice touch too, I won’t spoil it but it made me genuinely laugh.Overall I’d super recommend, and honestly it’s a steal for the price. It’s cheaper than a coffee from Costbucks for Christ’s sake and it comes with janitorial friendship!!

The Call Centre

The Call Centre

This game is half an hour long. There’s no sound effects or music, just some barely animated stock library anime sprites supposed to represent your co-workers. Horribly written dialogue with poor grammar and multiple spelling mistakes every sentence, very few branching paths or dialogue possibilities. Did I mention it’s half an hour long?

I played it because I liked the premise having worked in a call centre before and love visual novels, but with so little “game” here I don’t think it’s worth even a fraction of what the dev is charging. Frankly I’ve played free visual novels which have better production values and effort put in than this.

At face value, The Call Centre does not work at all as a game: It is slow, soul crushing and completely shallow at its core. However, as a meta-joke about customer service work, The Call Centre is painfully real in presenting the world of phone work as accurately as it ever would need to. It is a world where the general public continue to disappoint you, a world where toxic work environments bring out the worst in those who thrive on it and prey on those with the best intentions. I think Junaid, perhaps naively, went into this with those exact intentions and a commendable effort he even tried to really. Not many games thrive on the same concepts of a drab, day-to-day, office environment, with Paper’s Please and Stanley Parable being the only ones that spring to mind. The anime, visual novel, inspired look is something I can appreciate too. That said, there needs to be a bit more to The Call Centre than that, so players stay gripped on the idea. At the very least though, the heart is in the right place

I am convinced this game is better than anything a million monkeys would get done given infinite time.

I certainly hope this thing will soon come out of early access, because i, not gonna lie, can see the potential there. Devs try to make walking-and-talking sim something better and broader: distinct toxic visual, trippy music, lot of interesting scenes (just need to fix all glitches and typos)

CubeHub

This is a collection of mini-games based on innovative game mechanics and parodying famous games and other works of modern culture with its help. This is a physics challenge with puzzle elements.

Gameplay

At the game level are various figures. Your goal: to put the figures so that they intersect certain parts. The game marks these parts with a pink color.

Using the keyboard, you control one of the figures: rotation, movement back and forth. You can push other figures.

Some figures may have AI and move independently of the player. Some figures can “shoot” cubes, they push the figures too.

At different levels, different settings for gravity and destructibility of the environment.

Game features

  • Many figures of different shapes and colors.

  • Tutorial levels.

  • Different game levels. From simple and funny to very complex, from which you will break the keyboard and your nerves.

  • The game develops attentiveness, precision of movements, intelligence and a sense of rhythm.

  • This is a fun game for the whole family. Play it with your friends, parents, children, grandparents. Play it at work so that your boss can see that you are increasing your intellectual level and become more useful for the company.

AR-K: The Great Escape

AR-K: The Great Escape

After playing the first 2 episodes I can safely say that this is the best episode so far!!! The developers certainly improved the game quality in both ways: technically and direction-wise. The following points sums up the following:

Pros:

  • Gameplay quality much improved from first 2 episodes

  • Puzzles more interesting

  • Protagonist given more depth in character

  • Story development much more natural

  • Render quality improved

  • This episode is much more bug free than previous 2 episodes

It’s great when you come to a game and it’s a lot better than you thought it would be. While I enjoyed ar-k 1 and 2 and I do recommend those games to play first, this for me is a lot better - story, graphics, setting. The writing was very good and if you didn’t want to read everything, you didn’t need to click on that character’s bit of conversation but could come back to it if you wanted. I liked the humour, and it was witty in parts. It is the perfect balance of not just a good story which is vital in an adventure game but also good interactive gameplay.

Cons: Not enough corn.

My dream of role-playing as a turd has finally come true! It’s an interesting mix of flappy bird and gradius from a gameplay perspective; with one button for jumping and another for shooting. You can also gain extra life by collecting more turds.

The variety of enemies and levels slowly change the longer you play as well.

BTW

Recommend you change your buttons to something other than mouse 1 and 2 or you’ll get carpal tunnel!
