春と修羅|Haru to Shura
I felt that I should review this game because I can find very little online about it, and thought it deserved a little more recognition. I will fully admit that I heard about and was interested in this game because of Studio Pixel’s involvement. However, I was pleasantly surprised to see that it had the same graphical charm and polish we saw in Cave Story and Kero Blaster, but has an identity of its own. Gameplay takes a backseat here to story, and it works very well with the medium. It felt similar to a visual novel with the heavy amounts of dialogue, but it knows when to give the player a break and move around. The game is about three hours long and I enjoyed it the whole way through. I do not wish to get into spoiler territory but I suggest playing this game blind as it gives one a lot to ponder.

As a fan of Studio Pixel’s other works, this was a game that I was excited for in the months leading up to its sequel. Getting to play it, a lot of things stayed true to the quality of Studio Pixel’s other games. The pixel art and OST are both phenomenal, and the game is able to convey complex thoughts with minimalistic output. That said, this game also has some flaws that definitely were noticeable and that can impact your enjoyment of the game.
Note that as of the time of writing this review I have only gotten one ending, which appears to have been the true / good ending to the game.

永恆之火-REVERSE
The rotate & flip inherent visual image breaks the limitations of the perspective and formal logic of traditional 2D games.
Experience the classic 2D horizontal perspective and 3D magnificent background.
The intricate visual impact and illusion are amazing.

Oddworld: Abe’s Exoddus®
This is honestly one of my favourite games of all time, I don’t usually do recommendations/reviews but I feel the Oddworld games have never gotten enough attention and I really encourage everyone to give this series a try.
The game is absolutely amazing, it deals with issues like consumerism, class, culture, race all in one and yet despite the serious tones the game never strays from humour or trying to take itself too seriously while still being completely relevant in today’s world. The game is a cinematic platformer, and you definitely feel the weight of everything you do in this game, whether you walk, jump, fall, hoist yourself up a ledge, roll, pull a lever etc, everything has weight to it and really feels like you are actually experiencing a world and not a game, yes it does take a bit of time to get used too especially if you are used to more traditional platformers but thanks to very responsive controls you will get the hang of it in no time, the game also mixes up a lot of action based sequences and puzzle sequences that require something known as gamespeak, inspired by point and click games these are essentially commands that you will use through the game to rescue your fellow Mudokons (Abe’s Species) or when possessing Abes enemies or the wildlife of oddworld you can use gamespeak to your advantage to make things easier.

Nominated for the “test of time” award. This was my absolute favourite game when I was a kid and I still love it to this day.
It may be partly because I only owned about 3 games at the time but I must’ve sunk more hours into this game than any other.
The atmosphere and world are great, a dark story with just the right amount of humour. Abe is the last hope to free his enslaved people, who are forced to work in dangerous conditions by greedy slave traders who care only about profit, but if you get bored of all that you can press a button to make Abe fart, which causes all Mudokons next to him to take step back, and those further away to giggle.

Stick Nightmare
This is a quite good game if you love challenge (timing plataforming) and good level design. Expect to die a lot, but at the same time you’ll be learning and mastering the layout, to the point where things won’t be so hard anymore, which is a lot rewarding in the end!

I reviewed this game for Two Credits. You can see the full review, the score I gave it, and some neat screenshots from my time playing the game here: http://twocredits.co/review/stick-nightmare/
Summary:
I could have forgiven the lousy aesthetic, the repetitive music, the lack of resolution options, even the clunky control scheme. I could have forgiven all of those things to an extent if only the gameplay were good - but it’s just not. The game is definitely challenging, but not in the way that classics like Super Meat Boy or some of the older Mario games are - it’s a challenging platformer because it handles awkwardly and will repeatedly test your patience with its bugginess and condescending tone.

The Last Chimera
First things first, heed the content warning.
Not sure why the captives had to be chained up, the plot implies everyone is a willing participant.
Beatable in four hours. Interesting monster designs. A fair bit of thought has been put into this game.
Combat suffers from being JRPG random encounters + level grind. Would have been fun if you had to think a bit more about which splits you bring with you and what they’re geared with for each fight (in fairness, you probably do on Hard but it’s a bit hard to tell what’s going on).

ADD
I bought this game on apr 6 and just got around to playing it. The controls are fine its just that you get stuck on almost all the objects and when I made it to lvl 2 or the woods area.. I couldn’t interact with any of the intractable objects. So I tried to reboot the game and my PC to no a vale. Overall if my game actually worked I would rate this a 6-10 just because it looks so cool with all the robots and the Wall-E type of feel I got from it, but it just sucks that my game got stuck like that. So if you plan to buy it just take this into account. Peace and love to the developers.

Interesting art style and concept however the finished package that’s delivered for us to play is not fully developed and comes off as a bit bland. Not worth playing. Also, really should have picked a more unique name so it can even show up in the Steam search. Only reason why I found it was because of a direct link in a random discussion somewhere.

Demon heart
