Deus Ex: The Fall
Deus Ex: The Fall should be taken for what it is. A mobile entry into the Deus Ex Universe. Admittedly, I’m a fan of the universe and getting another chance to play in this world, is something I am always looking forward to. So there may be some bias.
One thing that must first be noted, is that this game is a direct port from Mobile. If you look at what the game offers from a mobile perspective, it’s pretty amazing. I wouldn’t actually want to play it on mobile, as I can’t imagine pulling off some of the stuff I do with just gestures, but hey, more power to those who want to.

After completing a masterpiece Human Revolution and writing review on it, it seemed that there was only Mankind Divided left on the horizon and that’s all, the series is complete! But no! There was one more game that is rarely talked about (like with Invisible War) – Deus Ex: The Fall. Many told me that this is crap, but it is the direct sequel to the Deus Ex: Icarus Effect book, which I liked. So, like with Invisible War, I decided to check myself, what this game is, and… things turned to be no so simple…

SiN Episodes: Emergence
After rushing 24 hours total with this. I´m done. I´ve played all the maps(story i mean), fanmade, Sin 1 Source maps, EVERYTHING. (those all i could find and download). I examined every place in all maps totally. So the fun would not end.
Positive things about this game:
-AI, so much better than in any other source game, enemies can get wounded, and can´t move, just noticed that in last map i played, they kick things at you, shoots exploding barrels (and maybe kick them towards you after that), they can melee better, using head example, they throw your grenades back to you(i think, i´m not sure about this one) and they can get health from healthstations example. So it´s more challangening to fight them.

A wise woman once said “born to stink, forced to smell”. In an age where the games industry was still finding its footing, smaller studios that once battled the giants for a foothold in the mainstream had to resort to workflows and content delivery methods that were less than conventional in an attempt to secure funding. Ritual Entertainment, one such company, found themselves in this precise predicament after their generally unrewarded work on SiN and Counter-Strike left them seeking a new source of income.

MUSIC
well…it has one great song. i’m not sure if there are more. generally i don’t pay attention to this aspect of games.
STORY
though i enjoy what we got, i would agree with others that it’s barren. not a lot going on here.
more world building would be nice. the elder could have gave some good exposition on the region which haru knows nothing of. instead of just asking a stranger for help and mentioning someone that just happened to be right there. where do these people sleep anyway? too cold to sleep outside.

Republique
all in all its not a BAD game. in some ways it really pretty ok. the writing is pretty solid, the characters interesting and sympathetic, or deplorable but somewhat understandable, and mechanics not bad. its sort of a point and click old school adventure game mixed with a 3d stealth hunter, but with very little “combat.” the sound is pretty good, the music not bad, and the voice acting ranging from quite good to pretty ok. in many ways i actually DO recommend the game.
where the game lags is in pacing and stability/smoothness. its a pretty slow going game (as many stealth games are) but often at least with these you have a better saving mechanic to keep you from having to run the same puzzle-like timing gauntlet over and over until you finally pull it off, and not really because you dont know what to do as much as it can take many tries to actually do it.

Republique * 8/10
I never, EVER buy any game on day one. They’re priced ridiculously too high. And another good reason to never buy on day one is because the game might not be complete, whole, especially if it has an episodic structure. I’ve been keeping an eye on this game for so long and I’ve read lots of complaints for the way Camouflaj handled the product while working on other OS and platform ports but, even if these problems probably have been true, I never noticed any of this as I’ve started playing almost 1 year after the release of episode 5. And that’s pretty soon for me.

Dreamfall Chapters
The thing about stories and settings, in modern-day fiction, is that there’s very little room for innovation or unique ideas to craft worlds without feeling like it’s something we’ve seen before but executed differently.
I’m the kinda of person who loves stories that are self-contained without being treated as a brand that inevitably needs to be pumped for money, or more sequels, faster than an OD’ing alcoholic solely for the sake of the former, and not so much for doing something new with the subject matter.

You know that totally dreamy guy who you really want to get together with, but when you do; it turns out that he just doesn’t meet your expectations of him, and no matter how much you want to love him, he just doesn’t let you? Well, I know his name. He’s called ‘Dreamfall Chapters’.
Overview
Chapters concludes the story which began with the wonderful The Longest Journey, and resolves the cliffhanger left at the end of Dreamfall. We pick up where we left off, taking the part of Zoe Castillo, still in a coma; and will switch control during the game between her, Kian Alvane the “reformed” Apostle, and “Saga” - the girl who walks between worlds and appears to be disconnected from the main story until apparently completely unrelated threads finally intertwine as we approach the climax.

The Uncertain: Last Quiet Day
Review brought to you by:
TentacleBunny’s Cozy Cottage
Developed by the Russian studio New Game Order (formerly known as ComonGames), The Uncertain: Last Quiet Day is a 3D Point & Click adventure, with a strong storyline and quite ambitious direction. It’s the first episode, released in late 2016, and it took 4 years until we finally got the second chapter.
In a world where humanity has long perished, robots have replaced us, maintaining their own evolution. Inspired by our way of living, these machines work, learn, and socialize with each other remarkably resembling humans and their daily life. RT-217NP is a prime model of its kind, a robot whose curiosity allows him to grow at his own pace. He wanders around the city repairing and building tools, which he can sell to keep his curiosity alive.

Robots or The Pandemic? I’d Choose Robots ♥
The world has ended. The robots had taken over. This neat post apolopytic game is from the eyes of a cute robot named RT (insert model name here). He was leading a normal robot lifeu when an incident makes him question what is wrong or right. Humans are gone but are they?
Story
I thought out of most point and click adventures I played, this game has one of the best stories out there.. I adore end of the world games and I love cyber punk or futuristic games in general, so in that related theme this game has an amazing story. I mean artifical intelligence and robotics are being developed for the last few years. What is intriguing about the plot is like the pandemic (HEY 2020!) robots taking over the world CAN happen folks. This game covers only beginning of the story and is relatively short but was incredibly sufficient for a part 1. In the views of RT you hear what he says about humans or human life in general which is very entertaining. Are you uncertain to help, or do you not want to help or do you want to help? That is up to you. and depending on the choices you make you progress the story or reach bad ends. The story is very very linear , so do not expect miracle side plots.

Light Fairytale Episode 1
I originally bought this game out of boredom. Having played everything in my library over again looking for a refreshing narrative; something I could hover my cursor over and think, “this, this is well written.”
I eventually bought a kindle and put a Hiatus on gaming for several months, disappointed at the lack of any new titles containing a decent narrative. I initially broke this hiatus at the release of Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice and I was happy with what the game offered. Yet, still, the narrative end of the game felt passive and only served to augment the gameplay.

Definitely can’t recommend this game as a stand-alone, though that may change if/when he releases the complete story and bundles them together in some way. But as it stands, it is a very incomplete and barebones jrpg. But let’s start with some positives.
Positives
• Music: Definitely was the best part of this game. All the music sounds really good and enjoyable enough to listen to outside of the game.
• Setting: While it really does come off being a pretty generic jrpg world, it is interesting enough to keep your attention.

The Fall
Disclaimer: I have a credit on this game. My opinion is biased, but perhaps the passion that drove me to get involved says something in itself.
Last year I put my support behind a crowdfunding campaign for the first part of an episodic action adventure game blending light metroidvania gameplay with the kinds of puzzles you might find in point and click adventures, created by Over The Moon Games . At the time, I’d not heard of John Warner nor Over The Moon Games, but The Fall’s premise caught my attention and as I got to know John, I knew that my instincts had pointed me in the right direction.

This is an interesting concept of a game, fairly original in some of its gameplay style, and it kept me motivated for most of my playing time…sadly this didn’t last too long. I mean, not the motivation but the game itself didn’t last too long.
And i don’t mean it just talking about the amount of hours playing time, but the game itself is not finished. That’s one of the big bad surprises that awaits you when playing it.
When you buy a game called “The Fall” and that’s it, no “episode 1” or “first part” or “some day in the future of the universe we will finish this game” you really don’t have a clue that you are buying just the first part of an unfinished game.
