This game looks quite simplistic, but offers more than I first thought.

It is quite a challenge finding strategies in order to win a round.

There are so many things to consider (the morphexes, the attacks, neutralizer), which seems overwheling in the beginning,

but actually offers a lot of depth and different approaches to try out.

I only played a couple of hours, yet, but had some fun until now and will definitely continue.

The story is a little cryptic at the beginning, which made me curious on how it will evolve.

There will be someone out there in Steam VR world that will love beVaiR and play it to death (maybe the other reviewer here), But most of us are going to realise that not only is the price of this game little more than a joke, but the gameplay is way too complex for its own good. The main idea is to turn all the “nodes” your colour by collecting other things and sucking up the floor and turning them into something else. And if you think that sounds complicated and weird, you should try playing the game! Sadly, even if you did somehow manage to work out how to play the game you will soon be begging for your money back. There is NOTHING here to justify the £23.79 price and certainly nothing that would ever make me recommend this to anyone. - item Refunded.

So I think i’ve played this game enough to write what I think about it so far. So, being the first person to reach 1000 trophies, I already see a problem. There comes a point in the difficulty curve where nobody will be able to beat anyone else. I see this becoming an issue in a week or so as I feel people will obtain such high levels on their reliks that they won’t be able to be beaten. The struggle begins at around level 16. This is when the challenges become so long that it is almost impossible to beat them without using some third party program to track what is happening and copying from there. At the same time, you also are able to pay for the gems to purchase pack openings, and with enough microtransactions, I feel someone could become the #1 player and never be able to be beaten. For example, someone who pays for enough packs to reach level 20 in each puzzle could easily hold the top unless someone uses a recording software to track everything and play it back for themselves.

Pros:

Its really a great Puzzle game to compare your skill whit other People.

The learning Curve is also gud its easy at the beginning and get’s harder whit the time.

Cons:

As one of the top player I Also see the same Problem how DJ b0nK!. Someone could just make his puzzle on level 20 whit the pay factor. So you could not beat it anymore whitout using third party programms and even whit them i believ it is not so easy to beat. The problem beginns when you reach level 16 the Puzzle getting so long that you can make only 1 mistake and rewatch the hole think befor your time run’s out. But the Puzzle are So long that is whit level 16 Pretty hard to remember evrything in the right order

Scrapping Simulator

This game is in early access so, you unlock all the available features quickly. As you may have guessed, this game is about disassembling eWaste for scrap materials. You can then sell the scrap directly or spend the time to melt them down to ingots for a bigger profit. Eventually, the world will be much more open and new features are coming.

I’ve logged a lot of extra hours figuring out many of the ins and outs of different processes. I enjoy the “grindy” aspects of this game and look forward to how they’ll adapt to user input.

2020: THE RIDE

I hated 2020, but this I loved. It’s beautiful in a surreal sort of way, though I feel bad saying that, given the grim subject matter. Still, it’s free, and I agree with the statement at the end. Nobody asked to get on the super fun ride 2020 was. But each of us gets to choose if we stay on.

Works fine on the Oculus Rift, I noticed tiny bits of lag, but I also hook my headset to a potato.

Terra Alia: The Language Learning RPG

A totally cool idea. Quite well executed for what it is but not for everyone.

The game is excellent for people with basic knowledge of a language. It probably won’t work well without having at least worked through some chapters of a text book, where you may get the idea how sentences are structured and perhaps special features of a language. For example, Japanese has a different word order from English, and has the concept of particles and topic. These are concepts that you will not learn in this game. In fact, when you hover over a particle during a conversation challenge it simply says: no English translation exists.

[gameplay]

It’s a point and click adventure game.

There are simple RPG magic battles, which are fun enough, but can be tedious. grinding XP is a slow and somewhat boring process.

you spend most of the game looking for everyday items to collect words in a foreign language. this increases your magic points and abilities. You also want to familiarize yourself with the words because your ultimate battle move depends on your picking the definition for foreign words quickly in order to cast more spells.

Hacker Evolution

Hacker Evolution

Simply surprising, great music… I may not become an hacker but I can play as one without special stuff.

You’re a renowned IT specialist that retired as an ermit on an isolated island following your family’s death. However, you’re asked to investigate on 4 different problems, that seemed tied. What will you discover?

Hacker Evolution is perhaps a writing simulator, as you need to type the command but you need your brains to avoid to be traced and to have a game over. Sometimes, you’ll need to begin a new campaign because you can’t do anything but try a different manner to avoid spending too much money you’ve “stolen” or to add to your trace level. That’s perhaps the most frustrating thing in HE.

Intro

Hacker Evolution is a hacking simulation game which is played in terminal. You’ll use several commands to do the “hacking” and some of them are real terminal commands. This game might look similar to Uplink in the shell, although the execution is quite different.

Music

There are some soothing musics played in the background. You can also change the music selection by pressing F4.

Security Hole

Security Hole

This fucking game. This MOTHERFUCKING GAME. Now this was a remarkable puzzle game. It was easily the most frustrating puzzle game I’ve ever had the pleasure of playing, and I absolutely loved it.

WHAT IT DO :

You have a collection of base shapes, such as cubes or dodecahedrons, which form various larger 3D structures. The object is to rotate this 3D structure such that it can fit into a hole which it is steadily, almost imperceptibly moving towards. Think of it like shining a light at the ground so that your shape makes a certain shadow, and rotating it so that the shadow matches the pattern given. Except there’s a time limit. Or you only have a certain amount of rotation you can perform before it locks up. Or sometimes both of these things. And also each level has multiple phases and they keep adding more and more of the base shape to your object, changing the shadow it can make. Also everything is randomized so you’ll never get the same setup twice. Oh and the boss-mode fights have a second timer you have to beat across all phases, and everything is wireframe and terrible. And also there is a

! secret world, and a secret level to the secret world, and secret mandatory bonus rounds on several of the final puzzles, because fuck you apparently.

Real player with 19.6 hrs in game

Think of this as a kid’s set of fitting blocks, on steroids. Don’t get me wrong, this game is HARD and will test your geometrical/tridimensional perception to the limit.

Don’t be fooled by the game’s first trailer, as it is very misleading. The second trailer is more accurate to what you get.

I won’t lie to you, the game concept is all about testing your geometrical/spatial ability by passing 3D objects through a hole (no, there’s nothing dirty in that sentence). There is some variation to that theme, though. Sometimes you have to do it within a time limit. Sometimes you have to move the object as little as possible but can take as much time as you want. There’s also a mode that shows a blank object with no shadows or other indications of perspective and you’ll have to find the matching object from a set of 4 options. On top of that, each object is composed of smaller units, and these units vary through the game–you start with cubes, then you see dodecahedrons and other units, for a total of 6 different units which will fry your brain while you get used to each of them.

Yolo Space Hacker

Yolo Space Hacker

This is an excellent way for people to get familiar with information security concepts through a Linux platform. Many concepts are expanded upon, the tools are open to be used in far more extensive way than completing the game’s challenges require, and real-world links are given to sources with more information about topics than the game requires the user to understand.

An important note: This game approaches the art of hacking from a red teamer’s perspective. That means pay attention to boundaries (or at least understanding where they are), and knowing the difference between testing to complete the customer’s objective and wandering off the mark. That doesn’t mean the game requires you to do this, but it tries to make you understand it.

Real player with 70.8 hrs in game

I played the beta (and also helped the team with language review and debugging), and I really recommend the game. It’s a great introduction into computer security. It’s based on actual hacking tools, using an encapsulated VM so you can do everything in a safe environment. Challenges start easy and get tough really really fast, so expect some hardship making it to the end if you don’t have much IT skills, but it feels so rewarding when you finally manage to pass a test.

Just don’t expect it to be easy :-)
