I played twice with it.
So for those who insist this part of the review included, up, left, right down arrows Enter and ESC controls and there you have it good.
The dev there got out of the classical soft 2D look toward a more 3D cold aesthetic where he both had more control and ownership of his characters and action. Since what happens globally, I guess it was his best bet to narrate a very complex story that casts an interesting foreshadowing into the future of our freedom, privacy and how much a government can use external events to their advantage to lock down a society and turn politics into plain accepted tyranny. It does into the same charms of the Incitement series, City of Chains and Outrage but in the Pegasus-5 mature universe. You got to check upon the morale of your crew members and have the option to romance most of them very inclusively, but without artificially changing them into your own likings and orientations, which makes them pretty realistic in the versimilitude of the game universe.

Baldr Sky
I’m not really sure what to say about the experience that is Baldr Sky. There is so very much I could get into, but saying anything too specific feels like reviewing Muv-Luv Alternative as if it was a stand alone work.
While being nothing alike in ways, Baldr Sky does check a lot of the same boxes and as it is much lesser known, I’ll just mention those similarities first.
-It is very creative, well thought out and complex.
-It is very sci-fi centric and technical without being dry.
-It is an incredibly engaging, edge-of-your-seat read.

Baldr Sky is one of the best recent VNs and JRPGs to have been localised to the West, delivering an entertaining story, memorable characters, and robust action RPG combat.
It’s set in a cyberpunk vision of urban Japan in the aftermath of a tragedy called Gray Christmas, which left an entire city in ruins. Local and federal governments, a private corporation, a research team and a religious cult are implicated in the event, with each party blaming the others. The survivors who comprise the bulk of the main cast include alumni of an esteemed school, who believe they had been witness to suspicious events prior to the disaster during their school days.

Dawnbreaker - Aeon’s Reach
I am in love with this game. There was sex, nudity and fun. I do admit that the ladies are cute and sexy, the creators tempt you with sexy outfits and promises of fun. Over all 5 out of 5 Stars, but you have to buy the the +18 patch. This game has so many possibilities. Lets see what happens next…

Bionic Heart
I honestly didn’t think that I’ll find this game to my liking. But I did.
Visual novel is a very specific genre. Developer of the game should create the atmosphere of the world, vivid characters with different personalities and provide an interesting story. Developer of “Bionic Heart” succeded, in general. Here is why.
First of all, the atmosphere of the world. In “Bionic Heart” you’ll be walking the streets of futuristic London with it’s modern technologies all over the place. You’ll find out that the change of climate really altered lifestyle of future people. Constant rains actually fit the setting, creating the tone of sadness and tension. All these things really put you in this world, so you don’t feel too distant.

Figuring I would check out Bionic Heart a bit while farming cards, I loaded up the game and started reading through the first chapter. Eight hours and 24 achievements later, I have to say I was pleasantly surprised.
Bionic Heart isn’t the best visual novel I’ve ever played, there are certainly issues that prevent it from being more, but it has a charm that I wasn’t expecting. The game’s greatest strength is in the sheer number of choices you’re given and the many branching narratives that result. Discovering them all and winding your way through different story paths is truly where the fun lies.

Kiss Upload
Kiss Upload is a futuristic-themed romance visual novel. It features four involved story paths with even more outcomes.
You play as Tobias, who begins the story in present time, living a below-average life on his own. After receiving a flyer from the owner of an innovative company, Tobias decides to participate in a life-changing science experiment which would land him 500 years in the future. That is, if all goes according to plan.
In Kiss Upload, you can choose between three female and one male love interest. Each are connected to various sides of a conflict. Will you take the side of the FBI? Or will you side with a robotics engineer who calls herself a mad scientist? Maybe you’ll fall for a cute robot. The choice is yours.
Battle Girls
A short, mecha fighting story with some romance options brought to you by the Dharker Studios.
You were chosen as a mecha pilot to represent your nation in an international competition. Just to be clear, there is no mecha action here, it’s pure VN. You have several battles to go through and multiple choices to reach one of many endings. While the VN is relatively short, to complete all scenarios will likely double the length so it’s not bad. Your choice will also influence if and who will you end up with. Writing quality is acceptable but there is not enough character development here. No real heroines' backgrounds or motivations present. Also, the main character was left as a blank slate, no sprite, no face, little to none personality. There are some slip ups and inconsistencies, e.g. wrong names used or story referring to events that did not occur due to the previous choices. Still, I enjoyed it more than expected from low budget VNs. One of better VNs from this developer.

So some background. I’m a FPS and RPG kinda person, but have played various other genres. My first visual novel was Doki Doki Literature Club, and it changed my life (good game, check it out it’s free). So when I was making a badge and got a coupon for this game, it peaked my interests.
However, instead of being just some cheap game with no depth, I was surprised to see how much depth this game’s story went into. I will admit, I don’t get the whole thing about it being a school or something, and yet they are battling other countries so they get an untrained dude to fight for them. But whatever….

Destiny’s Plan
Destiny’s Plan is a cyberpunk visual with romantic and dramatic undertones. Upon starting the game, I was greeted with a menu entirely in Russian. I understand this is a game created for a Russian audience, but I had to trial and error my way through dialog until I happened upon the elusive language setting. A language dialog on initial startup would be very helpful as this almost kept me from playing the game.
The story begins, and man the english is broken. This seems like it was machine translated, but I do my best to translate sentences into meaningful phrases in my head. Destiny’s Plan deals with some meaningful topics such as mental health, grief and loss. It takes a few twists that I didn’t see coming, and overall I can tell that a lot of thought was put into telling this tale.

Very very rough translation for the english reader. Also very depressing. Cant say more without spoilering, but if your looking for a happy ending here, you will not find it.

Grey Instinct
I am emotionally invested in this game. It’s been 20 days. I have not seen my family, friends, or civilisation in general since the dawn of this simulation. My love for Kana grows while my sense of reality dims. I am CumMaster69 and I got every single achievement in this game. Life has no purpose. I have no purpose. Until Grey Instinct 2 comes out, I shall halt my existence till my love returns. This game should be renamed Sheenz Instinct because my love for Kana is unlevelled.
I do not know who I am anymore. So I leave you with this warning. If you play, you may not live to see another day.

This game, even from just playing the first chapter, I can tell is going to be a 10/10!
Really fun, interesting, the mechanics are smooth, there are mini games within it (like in the arcade after you unlock the dating app) the graphics are great (keep in mind this is a style I like, and not just be thinking this is the best graphics engine out there. I like the 2.5-D vibe it has), it is really fun! I was wrapped into it almost immediately. The thing I liked the most was the STYLE. And this game definitely has it. I’ve also never run across the idea of using a dating app to “whoo” your potential dates with puzzles and stuff they like so that is definitely a cool mechanic that I was not ready for, but was impressed by.

Vengeful Heart
Great cyberpunk VN with a heavy, HEAVY emphasis on the ‘punk’, Vengeful Heart was a brisk, thrilling read! The aesthetic was great, the music is great, the whole novel is criminally underrated. The plot is exactly what I was hoping for and even more pulse-pounding than I expected. It’s not perfect - a couple of the plot beats fell a little flat, like Little Jimmy and the two romantic options' jealousy - but overall it was a worthwhile read.
Don’t pass this one up!

What Am I in For?
Vengeful Heart (VH) is a visual novel set in a futuristic dystopian world. The game is purely a reading experience, with only one choice players make close to the very end of the game. Outside of megacities, life is very difficult due in large part to the lack of water and heavily polluted desert sands. Players follow the story of a hydraulics engineer turned activist leader by the name of Josephine Lace, formerly employed by Nepthys, the largest water company in an unnamed city. She ends up losing both her home and job, then soon after begins her crusade against the many injustices her former boss slowly enacted over the course of the story.

Love Shore
Welcome to Love Shore, a city that transforms at night. The futuristic metropolis just happens to also be populated with cyborgs, old gods hidden in the depths of a criminal underground, and humans eager to crawl their way to the top, no matter what the cost.
After a fertility crisis changed the landscape of the city for good, a single company stepped in to help the residents: Life S. Incorporated, a biotech firm that claimed to be able to build life out of raw DNA, creating a fully formed human with thoughts, feelings, and morality of their own.
Their minds, physical appearance, and personality would be drawn from their parents’ DNA, but the children would be ‘born’ using artificial bodies. This new generation would be called the S.Humans: a non-aging, tough form of new life.
Love Shore features two playable protagonists with four storylines and romanceable options, each with their own storylines. Sam and Farah are two completely different characters suffering from the same circumstances: they’re S.Humans, one of the 100 cyborgs created by Life.S. before the company vanished.
FEATURES
LOVE SHORE features 25+ possible endings, 8 different storylines, multiple complex weaving routes and an awesome soundtrack! The game’s UI fluctuates between day and night, depending on the time in Love Shore.
MECHANICS
LOVE SHORE has hidden rpg mechanics, including a stat system for three different abilities that you can develop based on the decisions you make. All companions have a hidden approval system as well, allowing you to develop your relationships to be challenging, platonic or romantic.
Love Shore has dating sim mechanics, including unlocking romantic scenes but can also be played entirely without any romantic interactions.
COMPANIONS
Sam and Farah’s lives are a web of messy relationships, contacts and enemies. Who will you help? Who will you lose?
