E.Y.E: Divine Cybermancy
Cybernetic Meme Machine
Ok, this game is a one for the history books. A full fledged Meta-meme game at this point. So I’m starting with :
Troubleshooting: I didn’t had any problems when I played the game under Windows, several years back. Nor, any problems with the compatibility tool Proton 6.3-8, these days. Under Manjaro (it is an Arch distro btw), I didn’t need any additional launch options, either.
Artificial Ingredients: The game has achievements. And a bit annoying one, too. Beside the story, the class and the weapon related one, there are a lot of random achievements. And I’m still grinding these random achievements up to this day. Maybe, that’s why I stop buying games with achievements.

One of the most esoteric and dense games out there. But one of the most fun due to just how much you can do, and how you can complete the game in any way you want. The community (or the only people that even play this anymore) is pretty based too tbh

ArcRunner
ArcRunner is a beautiful Cyberpunk-styled action rogue-lite set in the far future on board a huge space station where the controlling AI has gone insane, and its up to you to traverse the Arc to find and destroy it.
You start each run as a newly-cloned human, and using credits earned in each level augment and replace your body using robotic and cybernetic enhancements until you’re more machine than human.
The game features frantic 3-rd person action, a randomised weapon and augment system with almost unlimited possible builds, huge bosses to fight and 2-player online co-op.

Black Ice
Black Ice definately isn’t a perfect game, but it is a fun one that is constantly getting better - a great example of an early access game done well. The developer listens to the feedback of their players and actively work to implement new features and changes to both fix bugs and add more content to the game and improve what is already there.
Now as for the actual game.
The gameplay is not anything super out of the box strange - the idea being that you have various weapons and abilities you can use to defeat enemies to level up and get more loot. Where it differs from other games of similar style is exactly that - the game’s style. It is themed quite heavily around being inside the internet, being able to walk to different servers and hack them to spawn the waves of enemies.

I’m going to be brief with my review, with the intention of adding on to it later.
I have had this on my watch list for years but finally decided to grab it recently (I currently have 29 hours in it). I was drawn to the idea of a retro-cyberpunk themed action RPG that also manages to not be gory or filled with adult content. It’s a welcome change from what’s popular these days. On top of that it also tests your twitch reflexes… a really rare combination. I must say, I got a WAY better game than I was expecting! Not only is the game fantastic, the developer is extremely dedicated, informative and helpful. I mentioned some bugs on the Discord chat, and within a few days he not only released a patch that fixed ALL of them: he even mentioned me in the Discord chat about the patch, remembering that I’d experienced some of these issues. This is a Class-A dev here folks. This is extremely refreshing compared to the dumping ground of abandoned “Early Access” titles on Steam.

Black Future ‘88
Do I recommend Black Future ‘88?
Tough one. “Yes and no” would be my answer.
I’ve spent a little more than a full day as whole playing this game. And, sadly, this is probably as much enjoyment as I am going to get from it. And yet, these 26 hours were (mostly) a blast. It’s fast, it’s brutal, it’s hard, it has some cool cryptic mechanics to discover, it allows you to build your character from many varying pieces you find throughout the game - traits, weapons, powerups, curses. It’s quite a lot.

TL;DR: If you like Rogue Lites, this one is certainly one of the standouts. I easily recommend the game. I didn’t know where I could fit in the soundtrack part of the review, so I’ll just say that while it doesn’t transcend the genre, it’s good all around and even has some great tracks.
Black Future ‘88 is a Platformer Rogue Lite (or Action Rogue Like, if you prefer) in which you race against the clock to climb Skymelt, the living tower, and defeat the architect of the apocalypse, Duncan. People have described this game as style over substance. If you look at gameplay, you might be forgiven to think so too. It’s a visual and auditory overload of neon colors, flashes and sounds. However, if you take the time to adapt yourself to it, and learn it’s quirks, you’ll make sense of it and it becomes surprisingly readable.

Brick Breaker Bunch
Very good game, amazing soundtrack. Very fast paced. Maybe add multiplayer?

A fun little brick breaker game with some new mechanics thrown in including tanks, bumpers, multiple paddles and even bosses! Pretty good value for money given the low price and large amount of levels. Dev is friendly and obviously cares about the game, even to the point of adding a new feature because a user requested it on the discussions! Physics of the ball feel good, although maybe it moves a little too fast. The menu’s can be a tad confusing but they do the job once you understand them. Pixel art looks great and is perfectly animated. Overall, if you are looking for a brick breaker game, I can recommend this game without a doubt :)

Satellite Reign
### Summary
Free roam squad based RTS/RPG with a cyberpunk setting running in the classical veins of Syndicate. Start from the ground up with a weak squad and limited supplies, and slowly work your way up the food chain to take on the big corporations. Acquire a mass of guns and upgrades to help you accomplish your goals. Decide whether you want to use stealth, sheer firepower or a mix of both to complete your objectives and rise to the top.
Plays a lot like Dawn of War II with a Blade Runner theme whilst being fresh and unique. Highly recommended!

EDIT -
CO-OP MULTIPLAYER!!!! Game was ok-good before. now it is AWESOME!
===========================
Looking for a sequel to Syndicate Wars?
Unsure whether this is for you?
It’s a very tough call.
A bullet-point comparative breakdown.
Satellite Reign is the best revival yet seen of its predecessor. At about 30hrs in to the final release I am enjoying it, despite it leaving me wanting. Aside from this game’s amazing visuals - which are indeed damn near perfect, the biggest differences between this game and Syndicate are in its comprisal of main gameplay mechanics.

The Ascent
The Ascent is a very well made game, it goes like prune juice through a granny with the runs.
It’s not a very deep game but what it does, it does so exceedingly well.
The storytelling is top notch, it’s no disco elisium but stories are believable, consistent , fun and unforced.
It’s an adult game with plenty of swearing, blood, drugs and gore.
I was able to reach out and touch my opponents with a satisfactory amount of bullets, gunfights quickly turn into adrenaline fueled gore-fests and once I figured out the augments, the flow of the fights was juuuuust right.

Bugs appear to be de rigueur for cyberpunk-themed games these days and The Ascent is sadly no exception. The spectacular combos during co-op battles are fun and the visuals are incredible, but there’s no denying that the bugs (sometimes progression-breaking) can become wearisome and lead to a variable experience amongst co-op players (e.g., some players may experience progression blockers, others will not - some players will be awarded achievements, others will not).

Raw Data
I normally refrain from writing reviews as there are already plenty out there that voice my opinion. That being said, I feel absolutely compelled to write a review for this game. Where to start? Let’s just start with the words: “Awesomely Addictive!” Never before has there been such a smooth and “polished” VR combat experience that allows the player to wield a sword or duel wield pistols while wrecking havoc! This game is worth every penny and I’d recommend it to everyone with a VIVE.
Don’t work out? Too “lazy” or “busy” too? Play as Saija, the cybernetic ninja chick and work up a sweat! I can gladly confess that most of my days of exercising is over due to this game. If you put a lot of effort and time into this game it can pay off. Just keep a hand towel and a bottle of water nearby and out of swinging distance! It has built in voice comms so you can speak to whoever you meet in co-op. assuming they speak a language you understand, lol.

Played with Oculus Rift/Touch.
Raw Data is what I’d call a wave based arena shooter - exactly like the big budget Robo Recall from Epic games. These two games share A LOT, so if you’re familiar with RR, you know what to expect here too.
You can choose from 4 characters, who all have distinct weapons and special powers. Detailed info here: https://survios.com/rawdata/heroes/
-
Bishop is the good allrounder - My choice for a solo playthrough on hard difficulty.
-
Boss has limited range but really high DPS - depending on the map, a really good partner for Bishop in co-op.

HUNTDOWN
Outstanding game. From gameplay to visual style, music and the references to retro movies, they all contribute to a complete package that will make you grateful for finding this gem. I absolutely recommend it without second thought, go for full price or not, it’s your call.
Playing with a controller is advised

This game was an epic find! Amazing gameplay, even better story, awesome replay-ability value, great visual style… I only wish I managed to get the limited edition physical copy. If you are a pop culture freak like myself, you will love tons of references :) Oh, I almost forgot, playing with friends brings the experience to the next level. This game is a must play.

Signal Decay
Single player isn’t great, but co-op is fun. The game has improved significantly since early access launch. The game would benefit from some sort of progress loop. Right now it’s just a single, mostly self similar, procedurally generated campaign of about a dozen levels. You lose, and die, and gain nothing. But the core gamplay is good, with some… interesting design decisions.

very good game and graphics are very good and i am glad this game is exellecnt also this game has elevators to transit between floors so its was very good however i would love a diffuity levels eg early levels should have few guards while later levels get hard
