Ambition of the Slimes
The first thing you should know about Ambition of the Slimes if you are considering picking it up is that although it is a strategy RPG, the emphasis is much more on the “strategy” than the “RPG”. Grinding will only help you so much; far more important is choosing the right slimes and making the right moves. If this sounds too stressful, then you may want to seek out another game (however, please note that there is an Easy difficulty which I didn’t touch– I stuck with Normal, plus replayed some levels on Hard and did a few Challenges– so YMMV).

very disappointed, the game is not balanced to give a fair difficulty to the player. Even easy mode will kick your ass. Enemies are too much powerful and, for reasons, some of them will be difficult to “claim”. Also you have very weak slimes, leveling them up is not very helpful, and you get new species randomly. Also in some levels you have a limited number of slimes vs hordes of enemies.
And…. seriously, why, for all the reasons in the world, the tutorial explains you how to use a very important slime with the stickyness ability, but when the tutorial ends you don’t have that slime anymore and you can’t find that anywhere? Why?

Empire of Angels IV
50 hours.. and game complete. Still got a few grinding to do to unlock all achievement but it’s still a pretty good ride!
I have played angel empire 2 and 3 from like 20 years ago and this really brings back memories.
Personaly I like 2 4 3 in that order but all 3 is still really good games maybe i wil go back and find 1 in some old website in the future to play it. Storywise 4 happens from 1000 years after story of 2 or 3.
Cubbie graphics of Tactical turn base combat. Not as many class as previous games but still need to keep switching class interesting. Personally this one feels quite a bit shorter in the plot with some extra annoy grinding that you will have to do.

So Empire of Angels IV is a game about a bunch of grills on a quest to collect the four Lord Souls Whoops did it again. You collect the four Menhir (or attempt to anyway, spoiler) and you have zany adventures along the way. The plotline makes little sense, even when it’s explained to you and I can’t figure out how the characters wind up in the situation that they’re in. I feel like several situations were disastrously contrived. It’s almost like the developers had a checklist of things they wanted to shovel in. Here’s your rival, here’s your betrayal, here’s your feels trip, the list goes on. And as noted before, they don’t connect well. On top of that, it was hard for me to invest myself in the characters and I think that may be because of presentation. There wasn’t really much of an underlying story to connect me to them.

Frontier Quest
Played the full demo and couldn’t put it down. Had to 100% complete the game and had an amazing time playing this game. from the combat to the lovely art style you cant go wrong with picking this game up. the combat gives a variety of difficult encounters to battle against while allowing the player to play how they want, from either gathering the necessary gear to help with fight or to be stubborn and push your way through. either way you cant go wrong with picking this up.

The game will revolve around the above game. The accumulated star coins or snow coins can be used to upgrade characters. Each character can have different effects according to the level. Only by fulfilling the conditions of the level can you advance the plot, so you need to adopt a strategy that can meet the conditions of the level without losing too many star coins and snow coins.
Some levels require the character to reach a certain level to pass the level, so when you are stuck in a level, you can replay the previous level and accumulate star coins to upgrade your character.
Trapper Knight, Sharpshooter Princess
So a dog princess and a country bumpkin stop some uppity nobles from committing grand larceny at the behest of a rabbit merchant and this somehow leads to dealing with a little witch who has mind controlled the king of Canada so she can dress up, lie about her age, and eat lots of sweets by winning the grand prize of knighthood at the county fair. Yeah this is probably the best Fire Emblem game since the 7th one, and it’s not even one.
Jokes aside, this is a solid strategy role-playing game and it’s got a nice story to go along with it. If you like Fire Emblem there’s a good chance you will like Trapper Knight, Sharpshooter Princess. Especially if you’re a veteran of the series, as hard mode is made for you. You even get a reward at the end in the form of an additional level at the end.

A great TRPG based on Fire Emblem and more specifically FE9 and FE10. If you are familiar with this genre I strongly recommend playing on hard mode. I haven’t enjoyed a FE this much since FE10. The whole game is very tightly designed and does not pull ANY punches, you will need to use all of your resources carefully and more often than not beating a map was such a close call that waiting one more turn would have meant losing or a character getting killed.

Acorn Assault: Rodent Revolution
I got this game as a gift, and for a free game I’m satisfied for the time I used to play it.
I played the single player, not sure if online multiplayer works (maybe there’s no players)
Pro: simple mechanics, quite fun after you get the hang of them, again simple story but essential, game feels better with french revolutionary music on background (just listen on yt), funny character names
Cons: a bit repetitive; still frame ‘cinematics’; a bit childish style of graphic; as i mentioned above: the music is not the best, not too intricate dialogues; the Pause is sometimes bugged af (don’t pause, play in one go); also its annoying I cant see all stats of all when I choose boost, i gotta think it in advance, or not place last piece and calculate stuff, i can’t move the boost window, would’ve been better imo if i saw stats of all units at all time, not just when right click or clicking the statistics;

What can you really say about a game that features squirrels recreating the French Revolution? Surprisingly it is actually a really good light strategy match three game.
First off the theme is really charming/funny. It is just so strange playing a game with squirrels fighting one another with old-timey military gear. The French Revolution theme is pretty light since if you know anything about the French Revolution you won’t learn anything new from the game. The game does a good job mixing the squirrel theme with it though.
