The art, music, and voice acting in this game is very nice. I enjoyed the story, the way it unfolds is enjoyable. The concept could have been fleshed out a bit more.

Honestly I wasn’t sure if I was going to enjoy the sequel for this since I wasn’t fond of Ciel as a character, and only partially liked Koron. Turns out Ciel ended up becoming my favourite character in this series after completing this. and Koron became very likeable for me too. Rira and Richer’s after story routes here didn’t add much, and were much better in the first game. Though with that being said, I enjoyed the sequel more than the original game due to Ciel and Koron’s routes being very enjoyable.

I loved the idea, the environment, the characters and so on and that’s why I will recomend it because it shows great promise and I had lots of fun.
However… it does seem very incomplete and in need of a big continuation. Also, it’s buggy. I tried many times to get a good grade in the second semester and succeed in another plot moment and both seemed impossible. Specially the first because the GPA is bugged by the second semester, which made impossible to keep it above 3.5 (important for the game). For now, I’ll only be happy that I managed to save the life of my in-game boyfriend.

This is Not The End has many different paths and a well built world. I bought this game on a whim and it scratched my itch for a quick CYOA while managing to be funny and endearing. Solid 7/10

So this is a text-based piece of interactive fiction, it looks unimpressive, and as such I most likely would have skipped it if I hadn’t gotten a free copy through my curator. If I somehow had ended up paying this price for it, though, I don’t think I would have regretted it.
In the state I played it in, it had very basic programming, a few cute pictures, some unlocks, and - as the name would suggest - lots of endings to explore. LOTS of endings. Too many endings to finish in one session without getting bored in my case, but I did come back to it several times and probably will finish it. If it gets any attention on here then I’ll be annoyed at the inevitable criticism for being “not really a game”, because this should be clear from its description. The writing is really the central feature, and I appreciated its humour and creativity.

Half Past Fate: Romantic Distancing
Got this game with a small rebate (about 4$ US) ,i loved the subject,with everything going on right now,i decide to give it a shot.I find in easy to relate to Stephen(one of the caracter),also the SNES feel is great,music is nice…remind me of sone NES and SNES music,that bring’s a lot of memories.It’s not a dating sim per say,it’s more like a story driven game.
This game definitly deserve more attention.If you love story driven games,this is a nice 4 bucks who make you forget your miserable empty life like mine…The only downside,it’s pretty short(just over 90 minutes) and there’s not much of a replay value

Played this after the first Half Past Fate game and caught me off guard how short it is compared the first one. That aside, this spin-off features the same gorgeous art style, good writing, and down to earth and relatable characters. I recommend it if you’ve finished HPF and want to explore some other aspects of the world and get to know more characters.
Also, we never learned what our resident himbo’s occupation is :( ..

My Dear Prince
My Dear Prince is a cute yuri romance VN through and through. Sweet and cliched, it will rarely surprise you with anything major and features rather typical anime comedic tropes – exaggerated, quirky characters fumbling their way to a happy ending, with the conclusion being pretty much obvious from the first act. There’s a lot of solid writing in it and wholesome moments, but this kind of story is not necessarily where ebi-hime’s craftsmanship shines the most – the comedy she writes relies very much on caricature and central characters behaving in outlandish ways (if someone remembers the parent characters from Strawberry Vinegar, they’ll know what I mean). It’s not bad, but not necessarily subtle and the opening chapters relentlessly bombard the reader with such content, which for some is likely to feel a bit overbearing.

Although it’s nothing out of the ordinary by any means and certainly no reason to play this despite its flaws and issues.
There are several romance paths, including one route with a male, but it’s seriously not worth it since this Visual Novel provides no redeemable qualities whatsoever. The plot is utterly dull, generic, and predictable, the romance paths don’t differ even slightly from that. It’s far below average even for the low price tag, which makes it hardly interesting for those that appreciate a good read.
