Bubbaruka!
I want to stress first that I am one of the beta testers for this game. I did get it for free and I’ve been following the game in it’s development for a while now. Do with that information what you will. Having said that, there are a tremendous amount of positives here and a couple negative as well and I’d like to start with those to get them out of the way.
Cons: This game is not overly difficult, but the difficulty level is not horizontal. In fact, it’s more like a wave. There are some parts that seem gift-wrapped for you and others that make it seem like you’re on Santa’s naughty list. I would have preferred a more evenly distributed challenge. Also, make sure you’re attention to detail is on point or else you’ll be backtracking a lot. Prepare for that.

Amazing work from the developer and I highly recommend this game to anyone looking to for a good indie horror. If you are lost in the game then they do have a walkthrough and Discord so I also recommend joining! There’s not much more I can say about this game other than I felt compelled to continue playing, it had me on edge most of the time and constantly second guessing my actions and a wave of accomplishment when I won. The characters look simplistic but have an old-school charm that is reminiscent to Tamagatchi and the atmosphere pulls you in with it’s ambiance and sound.

Clea 2
This one is a solid sequel ill start with that.-
Still keeps all aspects of the original game, as in you are gonna be tense more than once, testing your patience to avoid a game over… (looking at you
! Arcane Realm) REEEEE .-
Sound design: as with the first game, it is top notch, you WILL be using sound as a tool to get around and the game does this aspect beautifully.-
Played with no issues on a xbox one controller, and controls in general are responsive, no issue on that end as well.-

OH MAN WHAT A SEQUEL! Another great game by InvertMouse we have here, Clea 2 takes the foundation of the first game and spice it up to make it interesting. New gameplay mechanics are present as well and they feel natural, If you played Clea 1 you’ll feel right at home. Also Fluorine is GREAT lead, and I enjoyed her journey. The Story also more deep than Clea 1, but some of the characters kind come and go (Nacy looking at you) but either than it it’s fine. Overall GREAT GAME and I recommend it to anyone who is into the genre/who has played the first game as well!

ADDITIONAL NOTE
Clea, an beautiful and cute girl has a younger brother whom she loves so much named Edmord. Their parents are scientists (even though I don’t know what scientists they are). Clea’s family has many maid who is always ready to serve the Family. Clea has strange disease involving Clea’s Chaos (although similar but she is not a Doppelganger) to haunt her mind. But don’t worry, if you bring some red herbs and use it, Clea will be safe. In this game, you have to be able to find a way out to be able to survive from the house. There will be many challenges involved. There are many types of challenges on Main Menu to playing them. The game have Multiple Endings and Secret chapters, maybe it will be very difficult for you if you can finish them in less than 1 hour. The most important thing is this game doesn’t have Jumpscare might not be complicated if played one. I suggest to you to play this game at night. Because this game has a horror genre and it will be very challenging if you play it at night and don’t forget to use a headset with loud sound

Clea is a game that I’ve been following since it was a mere concept art from the developer. At the time, I wasn’t very interested in the project; mainly because the original art wasn’t very beautiful (sorry XD). But then, all of a sudden, the character designer which worked with InvertMouse on his previous projects came back. And then… I saw it. The new version of that original concept art; and it looked fabolous. I was stunned; those eyes, that direct gaze at the player, almost emotionless and soulless, devoid of any life, made me think: “Wow. This… this is fantastic! Maybe it’s for the best if I follow this project, it may turn into something very interesting.”

Dread X Collection 3
I really enjoyed the 2nd collection, but this one blows it away. 12 games plus the castle hub, and I can’t call a single one of them bad. Let’s get into some details:
The Castle
Bringing back the spooky-cute aesthetic of Spooky’s Jump Scare Mansion, Kira’s castle is an adorable little hub-world complete with it’s own inhabitants and puzzles. As you complete games, the castle gets spookier, but never reaching full horror. The music in the castle is great, too! This is also where we get to hear the overarching story, which does tie in to both other collections as well as to individual games from those collections.

If you’ve read my other Dread X reviews, you know the deal: I list each game and my thoughts as well as my favorite. Ratings are Very good, good, meh, bad, and horrible.
| Name | Dev(s) | Rating | Comments |
| Puzzle House | Dread XP | Good | It’s not as good as the one from the previous game. The previous game let you explore everything in one go, meaning you could finish all the puzzles and then play all the games back to back. In this one, you’re forced to play some games to make progress. Namely, the first game opens some doors, and the 10th game clears a pathway that’s inaccessible for most of the game, allowing you to get the candle to play the 12th game. I had to look up a walkthrough to figure this out, and it’s a good thing I did, cause otherwise I would have spent hours looking for the last candle. Take notes, Dread XP. Avoid limiting freedom of exploration, cause different people have different playstyles. Some like a story/gameplay lasagna, and some like to keep their peas and mashed potatoes separate so they can eat em one at a time. Yes, there’s free play mode, but I consider the overworld hub to be its own game and as such would also like to play that separately instead of interspersing its puzzles with the other games. Do the puzzles, play the games in a marathon, finish the story. The castle design itself is very pretty and atmospheric, according to the credits, it was made by Akuma Kira. You know, the guy who made Lost in Vivo? Epic. |

Tattletail
So, this is one of my scariest games yet, but SCP was definetly the more challenging, besides that they are many pros and cons that i found while playing this magnificent game, each one will have a detailed explanation about why I beleive this.
PROS
The atmosphere was simply fantastic, it kept me on my seat, something most horror games just couldnt coprehend, the sounds and spooky sounds always kept the feeling eerie and creepy, which should always be a Pro for Games like these
The mechanics are also fairly decent and amazing, took me 2 hours to figure it out but in the end, it turned to an easy yet challenging experience that i personally find enjoyable and Reasonable for these type of horror survival games

Tattletail follows an unknown but presumably young main protagonist during the week of Christmas engaging various questionable activities with their newly mysterious toy Tattletail. Although they’re aware opening this present prior to Christmas is risky, it becomes unexpectedly encouraged once strange supernatural events occur after the toy is removed from its packaging. Tattletail is seemingly a good toy made for the whole family until it’s later revealed something more threatening is prepared to reign over the protagonist’s household.

VACUULUS
FEAR. THE. VACUUM. MAN.
Vacuulus is a survival-horror game, but without blood/gore or macabre elements. You play as a young boy known for being a slob, waken in the middle of the night by a legendary monster known as the Vacuum Man (or Vacuulus). According to legend, you must clean your house to vanquish him, but while remaining unseen. For if it sees you, it will take you away.
The game is in first person perspective with a heavy emphasis on sneaking, with features such as full body awareness, a dynamic music system, and 3D cinematics with fully animated characters as well as 2D animated sequences, with voice acting and its own bone-chilling soundtrack to boot.

Livestream: Escape from Hotel Izanami
Developer: qureate, Orgesta Inc.
Publisher: qureate
Pros:
1. The story’s setting is your typical haunted abandoned building sort of style, but the inclusion of more than one paranormal entity fits in well, especially when you collect lore informative items to understand what happened on why Izanami Hotel is how it is. The use of Japanese paranormal culture goes hand in hand even if it doesn’t seem like at first.

”An Enjoyable Ecchi-Horror Experience of Neverending Nightmare”
Livestream is one of many titles that I’ve been following for a while because of dark theme, anime aesthetic, and fan service as cherry on top. I never play any previous works of “qureate” developer team, but they share similar artstyle and direction with different settings.

The game is fairly fun for a simplistic shooter. The game looks fairly decent, it plays smoothly, and the art style and gameplay go well together. The gameplay is a bit lacking, given that there are only Wave and Endless modes, no missions, no alternative graveyards(levels), and no multiplayer support (these are the biggest issues, it seems it will get old quick, and does, but its good in bursts for some time killing, if you were to add these things, replay value would skyrocket in comparison to what it is now.) The clipping of the ghosts feels kinda cheap, they can go through the ground at any point and fly right up to you, this is mostly seen on a slope where they have to compensate for your positioning, there are quite a lot of trees that are mostly off the ground, which looks stupid, the writing could really use improvement, and there is a lot of issues climbing the terrain at certain parts with too much of a slope. The game doesn’t appear to have controller support either, which isn’t necessarily a bad thing, but controller support is often nice for more laid back play seshes, and I think it would add to the fun with this game being fairly simplistic; it’s more a game that you will want to sit back and play rather than get up close and personal with the WASD and mouse. The combinations/element type idea was good, but seems poorly executed. The ghosts only seem to have a weakness to their opposing element, but don’t really seem to be immune to others, i.e. they all seem to take the same damage from all mushrooms except the type that is their weakness, it would be better to implement a sort of immunity or resistance to other elements to make it more difficult. Other that that, the game itself isn’t meant to be a huge thing, I mean, C’mon, it is $3, don’t go in expecting a whole lot, it is supposed to be a small game, so quit complaining about your $3 game, if you’re complaining about something that cheap, you probably just want to vent, there’s been plenty of times you’ve wasted more than $3 on something you didn’t like. And for what the game is on paper, you should expect it’s more of a time killer type game that you will play in shorter bursts than most games, but it succeeds at what it is trying to be, a decently fun, ‘spooky’ little FPS. Now I’ve mostly had negative things to say about this game, but it’s $3 so I’m not complaining and with some improvement, this game could become a lot better. I will get more in depth with the review once this game has some new features, but for now, if you’re looking for a cheap, simple, decently fun FPS to shred some time with, this game is for you!

Overslept
It’s a great indie horror game.
There are hints over the game which is not noticeable at start but u discover later how to use the hints. I got stuck at some places but managed to solve a lot.
Expecting to see more in the future :)

First let me say, this is the best $2 I have ever spent.
The 2D artwork is amazing.
The puzzles are interesting and the pressure is hilariously awesome.
I really hope to see more games like this in the future from Justus Yew. I can’t recommend this game enough. Stop what you are doing, buy this game and thank me later.
Thanks for making an awesome game. I’ve yet to beat it, but I’m having a blast playing it so far!

Penguin’s Dogma|獄門ペンギン
A quick and fun game to play. The chase music is hilarious. Be aware that “Real” difficulty is the true game. This game was recommended to me by Usada Pekora.

Hard difficulty playthrough: https://youtu.be/NDdtB3jp4KY
Not gonna lie, had an absolute blast with this game this morning. Took me a bit to figure out what had to be done to escape, but the creepy atmosphere is subtle, the penguins act as a nice tonal clash for the sake of humor, and the core concept is executed very well. I ran into some bugs during my many playthroughs, but aside a small handful of “real” difficulty killing the experience a bit I was able to forgive them.
The biggest complaint, though? It’s short. Yes, there are four difficulties, but I still beat this multiple times on all but “easy” difficulties (didn’t play that one) in less than two hours. Hopefully the devs do what Shawn did with Pacify and continue supporting it with one or more new maps in the future, or even a mutiplayer mode at some point. $7 is a bit much to part with for such a short experience, but I really do suggest this title if you just want to sit back and play a fun little stealth horror game.
