ROGUERIA: Roguelikes X Tactics
IN A WORD: MAYBE
IN A NUTSHELL:
WHAT TO EXPECT: Strategy game. Turn-based tactics. Fantasy themed. Dynamically assigned pre-generated levels. Several individually themed chapters. Nodal maps of linked locations. Skill-oriented combat encountered. Small number of tactical factors. Defeat end-of-level bosses. Time-limiting rogue-lite mechanic. Relics provided collective combat modifiers. More complex than it looks. Single-player only. No real deck-building.

Game is amazing a super pleasant surprise I literally bought this to have steam points for the ox and it looked semi interesting. The music/sound effects/art style are super pleasing and keep the game really enjoyable throughout your whole play. The difficulty ramps up greatly in boss fights as you progress through the zones and the game will take quite a bit to beat I got to the third zone on my first play through and the boss graped me in the mouth. There’s different characters and upgrades you don’t get anything when you lose it doesn’t seem sadly, but there seems to be a lot for me to explore still. Some nice changes would be if you have enough movement to make an attack work if you could just use the attack and the character auto moves vs having to move then attack that’d be a nice quality of life change. Getting something unlocked for failed play throughs would be nice as well since this game gets really difficult

Ambition of the Slimes
The first thing you should know about Ambition of the Slimes if you are considering picking it up is that although it is a strategy RPG, the emphasis is much more on the “strategy” than the “RPG”. Grinding will only help you so much; far more important is choosing the right slimes and making the right moves. If this sounds too stressful, then you may want to seek out another game (however, please note that there is an Easy difficulty which I didn’t touch– I stuck with Normal, plus replayed some levels on Hard and did a few Challenges– so YMMV).

very disappointed, the game is not balanced to give a fair difficulty to the player. Even easy mode will kick your ass. Enemies are too much powerful and, for reasons, some of them will be difficult to “claim”. Also you have very weak slimes, leveling them up is not very helpful, and you get new species randomly. Also in some levels you have a limited number of slimes vs hordes of enemies.
And…. seriously, why, for all the reasons in the world, the tutorial explains you how to use a very important slime with the stickyness ability, but when the tutorial ends you don’t have that slime anymore and you can’t find that anywhere? Why?

Legend of Moros
A lot beneath the surface
So first and foremost, I do know the dev personally, and I played this game previously from Itch.io. If you wanna call me biased that’s fine, but just wanna be open with ya on it.
I see a lot of posts here about the graphics, and to be quite frank that is the worst part. Locations look NES era FF to me a lot of the time, characters fair better, and monsters can be hit or miss, but some of the designs are pretty original and remind me of things out of Earthbound. Everyone’s first impressions are going to be from the screenshots here, but personally I found a lot of enjoyment to thisgame and wouldn’t judge a book by its cover alone.

This is a competently written yet fun old fashionedish JRPG style game. It has plenty of oddball humor and craziness as you attempt to find Justice and learn what has happened. The fighting mechanics and abilities are inventive and keep the game from becoming just a slog of a typical RPG grind. Unless you play in hard mode. Hard mode is… a grindfest extraordinaire. I would suggest sticking with Normal or Easy, as it has no bearing on the story.
Instead of typical enemies found in these style of games they are uniquely designed and use non stock art, which is a relief from so many RPGmaker games simply using base assets. Because the enemies aren’t your typical RPG fare, you have to experiment as the usual kill x by using x doesn’t apply, leading to less boring fights as you learn the game. The stamina system is a nice system as well, I’ve not seen it used this way in very many games.

Sovereign Tea
The artwork is adorable and charming. The music is absolutely on point for setting the tone and atmosphere. The story has a good level of intrigue with compelling characters. The game play is challenging which made completing the game feel all the more rewarding.

Coffee? Tea? or perhaps Melee?
In 3HG’s most ambitious project to date, Sovereign Tea offers a unique Tactical Strategy adventure with a focus on unit-to-unit combat and resource management. Whether you’re new to the genre or a seasoned veteran, this game will present a stimulating blend of challenge and catharsis to your experience. The tutorial is intuitive and the first levels offer plenty of room to catch and correct mistakes. There’s even a hint function before each skirmish. However, out of pride, I didn’t really check it. That is, until around the end of the game. Much to my surprise, they weren’t step-for-step guides, but little details to keep in mind that may inspire a new strategy. There were a couple of instances where I knew I had a winning strategy, but I needed to grind through a some extra turns to yield results. Luckily, battles can be revisited (reenacted?) and if I were so inclined, I could try new loadouts or beat my turn record. The characters are written with such detail, they practically read with their own voice. It was fun hearing about a character and speculating how they’d behave or interact with others when they’re finally introduced (based on what I know about their namesake).

Trapper Knight, Sharpshooter Princess
So a dog princess and a country bumpkin stop some uppity nobles from committing grand larceny at the behest of a rabbit merchant and this somehow leads to dealing with a little witch who has mind controlled the king of Canada so she can dress up, lie about her age, and eat lots of sweets by winning the grand prize of knighthood at the county fair. Yeah this is probably the best Fire Emblem game since the 7th one, and it’s not even one.
Jokes aside, this is a solid strategy role-playing game and it’s got a nice story to go along with it. If you like Fire Emblem there’s a good chance you will like Trapper Knight, Sharpshooter Princess. Especially if you’re a veteran of the series, as hard mode is made for you. You even get a reward at the end in the form of an additional level at the end.

A great TRPG based on Fire Emblem and more specifically FE9 and FE10. If you are familiar with this genre I strongly recommend playing on hard mode. I haven’t enjoyed a FE this much since FE10. The whole game is very tightly designed and does not pull ANY punches, you will need to use all of your resources carefully and more often than not beating a map was such a close call that waiting one more turn would have meant losing or a character getting killed.
+Most maps allow you to draft your whole army, making every unit important, even your measly thief

Recommended : Ratings 5/10
Originally this game have a number of instability bugs, but the developer has been actively trying to fix them. I changed the ratings from “Not Recommended 4/10” to “Recommended 5/10” as a result.
This game is in Simplified Chinese only, which is fine with me.
This game is also really fun and has lots of potentials.
However, my main complain is that this game is rather unstable right now. It freezes randomly during long battles, and forces me to restart always. Although this game is interesting, I have not been able to get very far into the game because of the random freezes. I have already wrote a post in the forum, hoping that the developer will fix it.

It is a game with broken dialog yeah but the game play is fun the story once you make sense of it is good. It can be a little bit of a challenge at times. Well even after I figure out how its played it’s all great I love the broken dialog it makes me laugh. I shouldn’t be mean but when I see stuff said wrong but know what they meant it makes it fun for me. My brother saw me play he was like Put Arrows What….. then we both bust out laughing. Please don’t take it to heart creator of the game we know you where trying to make it easy for us. I loved it so yeah I recommend it to others just hope no one is harsh on you game creators. I mean it makes it more fun when you see games like this I mean it from my heart. The leveling system is great so is the idea of leveling the gathering areas to get better stuff. Dungeon play is cool too I have not gotten far enough to where I’ve seen equipment break on you yet but it is over all great loved it. Loved the ideas makes me happy every time I play and at times like this man it makes me so happy.

LABYRINTH OF TOUHOU - GENSOKYO AND THE HEAVEN-PIERCING TREE
where do i start on this game’s review? heck if i know but i’ll try to leave it readable
the fun i have had in this game exceeds that of over 99% of rpg games i have ever played the combat is excellent its kinda like active time battle but each time you or the enemy gets their turn the atb bars stop increasing until everyone who has their atb bar around 10000 or so had their turn then atb bars resume increasing up to 10000 then those characters or enemies have thier turn rinse and repeat
the difficulty with the bosses is legendarily hard even by dark souls standards you will die a lot of times and when i say a lot I MEAN YOU WILL DIE A HEAP OF TIMES (assuming if you dont over power yourself because lets face it overpowered characters negating the challenge is less fun then stepping on the edges of lego pieces barefoot) joke aside the some of the bosses will take every single bit of knowledge you have from this game and any other similar role playing games to even have a slight chance take it from me i have been party wiped so fast i didn’t even have time to say darn i got shredded and owned lol (i party wiped so many times though not once have a rage quit because of the boss’s difficulty it happens because i made the blooming mistakes that made the party wipe happen oh for those fans of a certain super hard rpg game im not going to say who it is but all you need know is a certain npc appears from that series somewhere in this game when i saw them i was like nooo….. can it you are you really them? no blooming way its them (yes it was them i can tell because i played a good bit of that game series myself

Three Fairies' Hoppin' Flappin' Great Journey!
I’m nearing the (standard, not postgame) end of Three Fairies' Hoppin' Flappin' Great Journey and so far, I’ve had a pretty good time. At first, the game will present itself as a fairly simple RPG with an Active Time Battle system. Very soon you will however find out that manually choosing actions is very inefficient and will likely make you lose battles. Your enemies never take time to think and pick their actions without delay and you’re meant to do the same: With a tactics system.
Basically, you can design behaviour tables for each fairy that they will automatically adhere to. This is done by giving certain actions priority over others and using “if…then do so and so” conditions. Overall, it works splendidly. If you’re worried that the tactics system might be too inflexible, know that you can edit your tactics mid-combat. Later bossfights make this practically mandatory.

If you liked the idea of FF12’s gambits, but felt they weren’t fully realized, this is the game for you. The tactical starts out with simple elements, but you can make it more and more intricate as the game progresses. The english translation is not perfect, but you definitely shouldn’t have any trouble following the story or understanding the mechanics. You get to meet and fight a lot of different characters, all with their own unique tactics. The only real criticism I can offer is that you never visit any of the well known locations, and instead just travel between various generic biomes, including some very non-canon ones.

川建国同志想要连任/Comrade Trump’s Re-election
Funny game, Trump who knows everything turns out to be a secret agent from China who wants to mess up the USA, i was thinking that he had some deal with Putin… but it seems this is true, USA is f**ked up by his term. But the question is should this be a huge secret to keep? Now the cat is out of the bag, everyone who played this game knows that, its bad for his mission haha. And BTW i quite like his twitter avatar in this game so can everyone plz send me a copy?))
But cant i skip the stories in 2nd or more round? Kinda annoying but still fine(Solved, hold the ctrl key, thx, the developer and a buddy who plays galgames X). And the questions appearances on the press conferences is kinda depended on luck, so i cant get all the trophy by now. Theres only 5 trophies left now, all about the questions, its getting soooo hard now haha.

The number of questions and stalks is sufficient, but the game process is only three days a bit short, and it can be increased by a few days. Game elements can be richer.
It is a headache for reporters to randomly ask questions, and it is a waste of time for players who want to collect achievements.
It is recommended to add the skip story button or the option to close the story.
In addition, I hope this game will sell well in the United States.
