I, Zombie is a puzzle game with some occasional stealth elements. It plays a lot like a web game, with clear inspiration drawn from games like Infectonator.

The basic mechanics of each puzzle require you to either turn everyone into a zombie, or turn a specific character into a zombie. You accomplish these tasks in two different ways. For the levels where you have to infect everyone, you will generally try to sneak up on easy targets to help build up your zombie army, before taking on the more difficult targets. There are a variety of tactics you can use, although you will quickly figure out the best strategies. You have loose control over your zombie army, but nothing like an RTS game would have. The second type of level, where you need to infect one specific person, has much harder enemies so you can’t just build up an army to win. These are essentially stealth levels, where getting shot once usually means death. They aren’t terrible, but the are definitely less fun than the normal levels. Some of them are frustratingly designed, requiring you to have almost perfect timing, but in general they are okay.

This is pretty decent little action puzzle game, albeit with not much in the way of replayability beyond redoing the levels until you find the way to keep all your zombie minions alive on each level.

The gameplay is pretty simple - you start off a lone zombie who has to infect everyone in the level (with a couple of exceptions where you have to dodge the patrolling guards and just munch on the scientist at the end, and one case where you start off with a single turned zombie on the opposite side of the map with yourself trapped and unable to move), and each level basically you have to work out which groups of civilians or soldiers you should attack in what order, and with what timing on their patrol route in order to avoid getting your brains blasted out before you get to them. Early levels are pretty straightforward, the later levels tend to require a bit more planning of where to go and when, plus along the way there are a few tips and tricks you can pick up of how to manage your fellow zombies.

This one is a solid sequel ill start with that.-

Still keeps all aspects of the original game, as in you are gonna be tense more than once, testing your patience to avoid a game over… (looking at you

! Arcane Realm) REEEEE .-

Sound design: as with the first game, it is top notch, you WILL be using sound as a tool to get around and the game does this aspect beautifully.-

Played with no issues on a xbox one controller, and controls in general are responsive, no issue on that end as well.-

OH MAN WHAT A SEQUEL! Another great game by InvertMouse we have here, Clea 2 takes the foundation of the first game and spice it up to make it interesting. New gameplay mechanics are present as well and they feel natural, If you played Clea 1 you’ll feel right at home. Also Fluorine is GREAT lead, and I enjoyed her journey. The Story also more deep than Clea 1, but some of the characters kind come and go (Nacy looking at you) but either than it it’s fine. Overall GREAT GAME and I recommend it to anyone who is into the genre/who has played the first game as well!

PROS

  • 2D Live Characters.

  • No Jumpscare. your skills alone determine her fate.

  • Full Voice.

  • Challenging stages.

  • Nice Art. I like it. and also I like Rewards.

  • Interesting soundtrack.

CONS

  • No Steam Cloud or Cloud Storage. Your progress will not save to up even you have to play on other device.

  • BUGS when you open the game and didn’t appear anything.

ADDITIONAL NOTE

Clea, an beautiful and cute girl has a younger brother whom she loves so much named Edmord. Their parents are scientists (even though I don’t know what scientists they are). Clea’s family has many maid who is always ready to serve the Family. Clea has strange disease involving Clea’s Chaos (although similar but she is not a Doppelganger) to haunt her mind. But don’t worry, if you bring some red herbs and use it, Clea will be safe. In this game, you have to be able to find a way out to be able to survive from the house. There will be many challenges involved. There are many types of challenges on Main Menu to playing them. The game have Multiple Endings and Secret chapters, maybe it will be very difficult for you if you can finish them in less than 1 hour. The most important thing is this game doesn’t have Jumpscare might not be complicated if played one. I suggest to you to play this game at night. Because this game has a horror genre and it will be very challenging if you play it at night and don’t forget to use a headset with loud sound

Clea is a game that I’ve been following since it was a mere concept art from the developer. At the time, I wasn’t very interested in the project; mainly because the original art wasn’t very beautiful (sorry XD). But then, all of a sudden, the character designer which worked with InvertMouse on his previous projects came back. And then… I saw it. The new version of that original concept art; and it looked fabolous. I was stunned; those eyes, that direct gaze at the player, almost emotionless and soulless, devoid of any life, made me think: “Wow. This… this is fantastic! Maybe it’s for the best if I follow this project, it may turn into something very interesting.”

Ghost of a Tale

Ghost of a Tale

I can’t name a single other game that can match the unbelievable charm of Ghost of a Tale. The stunning art design and graphics, the adorable animations, the fantastic music, the masterful level design, the deep and engrossing lore and worldbuilding, and the unforgettable characters result in one of the most stunningly realized adventures I’ve had the pleasure to participate in.

This game is simply magical.

Whether you are a fan of the classic animal adventure stories like Redwall, Wind in the Willows, and Disney’s Robin Hood, want to spend some time exploring a beautiful seaside fortress, or just want to dress a mouse in adorable little costumes, this game is more than worth it.

What a mixed bag this game is.

On the positive side, the world itself is breathtaking, and surprisingly interconnected. I expected a more linear style of progression, where you move past Zones and NPCs once you’ve gotten what you need from them, but throughout the entire game you’re constantly cycling back to places you’ve been and people you’ve talked to. You end up finding all these secrety hidey-holes and passageways that connect all the far-reaching areas of the map in cool, quirky ways. I can’t tell you the number of times I’ve absentmindedly been running through a tunnel and come to the end like, “Oh THIS is where I am!”. Perfect example of a smal world done right.

The Death Into Trouble

Very cute and funny game!

I think hell is the hardest, I couldn’t get to level 3,

The soundtrack is really good too, recommended.

Once again you can expect what Hanoi Studios does the best with this game: An amazing work with the audio, soundtrack and sound design.

Besides this, The Death Into Trouble (TDIT) has an unique appeal to what an indie game can offer in terms of original voice acting as well, great job done by “Vozindie” with the voice director Caroli.

TDIT is a game to enjoy the journey in three different envrionments: Purgatory, Heaven and Hell. Each one of them having a great variety of monsters and enemies, and I’d love to have a “collector’s book” inside of the game containing information about each enemy, its name and maybe a short description of it.

Mini Ninjas

Mini Ninjas

Mini ninjas,

one of my personal favorite games from my childhood

Opening the box to the wii and my grandmother having purchased all my siblings a game was an amazing christmas morning and i wanted to play immediatly being the only actual “gamer” out of all my siblings…

this wasnt the case though as wii sports was already being booted up whilst we all looked like a bunch of maniacs all wanting to play ours games, but first i had to wait as i was the youngest and everyone was getting 1 hour to try out their game in order of age so that everybody could play (and prefferably co-op games only my parents said) 5 hours later as im the youngest it was finally my turn and with multiple breaks like dinner and family stopping by it was already pretty late, not only late but my bedtime and not a co op game, so there i go not having played the game i was looking forward to all day… well i did play the game that day actually which follows up a way to long cycle of me secretly playing games at night troughout my entire childhood…

Steam is home to a lot of crap, and I do mean a lot.. But it also is home to a number of hidden gems that no one really talks about much.

Mini Ninjas is one of those gems. A bit of an imperfect one, sure, but a gem nontheless. And like many hidden gems, it doesn’t get a whole lot of attention.

The game is kinda an action adventure game, with small elements of RPG and stealth. You play the role of a ninja named Hiro, who is tasked with finding all his lost friends and saving the world while he is at it. A lot of pressure, I know, but then you are a ninja with the power to control the elements, so it shouldn’t be too hard (Which kinda is a problem for the game, I’ll explain later)

The Thief Girl ~ 盗賊少女 ~

Surprisingly a very fun and enjoyable puzzle/horror game! You have to steal treasure while not being seen or caught by different monsters. I enjoyed the different tiers in the level with how much treasure you collect, how often you are seen and how often you are caught to create more suspense and strategy while playing the game. Sometimes it was a little buggy but overall a great game!!
