Robot Daycare
A charming little visual novel about friends, philosophy, memes…oh yeah, and there’s also a robot!
Personally, I enjoyed the game, as well as both endings (for different reasons; something something spoilers). It’s a fairly quick playthrough (maybe 1~2 hours), so it doesn’t require a lot of your time.
Also, the couple of easter eggs I stumbled upon when naming the robot were amusing. :D

I truly cannot reconmend this game, and here’s why.
I appreciate a game that tries to deal with mental illness and depression. I believe that these are important issues to bring to light, and to have a conversation about. However, there are 2 things about this game that made it really hard for me to swallow:
1. The way that all of the characters related to one another and to each others' personalities and challenges felt very contrived, inauthentic, and ultimately without empathy. You have a charcter that in the beginning literally tries to program a robot to kill his friends laughing with them by the end, a character who fakes his own death, causes everyone massive trauma,. and is ultimately like “lol whoops guys should I not have done that?”, and folks modeling behavior that is absolutely not the right way to deal with or help someone dealing with mental health issues. Yes. The game makes it clear that there are no easy answers and that dealing with those issues is difficult. But I legitimately felt bad playing the game at some points because I had no way to choose better actions for the characters because you literally get to make like 4 choices in the entire game.

Clea
PROS
-
2D Live Characters.
-
No Jumpscare. your skills alone determine her fate.
-
Full Voice.
-
Challenging stages.
-
Nice Art. I like it. and also I like Rewards.
-
Interesting soundtrack.
CONS
-
No Steam Cloud or Cloud Storage. Your progress will not save to up even you have to play on other device.
-
BUGS when you open the game and didn’t appear anything.
ADDITIONAL NOTE
Clea, an beautiful and cute girl has a younger brother whom she loves so much named Edmord. Their parents are scientists (even though I don’t know what scientists they are). Clea’s family has many maid who is always ready to serve the Family. Clea has strange disease involving Clea’s Chaos (although similar but she is not a Doppelganger) to haunt her mind. But don’t worry, if you bring some red herbs and use it, Clea will be safe. In this game, you have to be able to find a way out to be able to survive from the house. There will be many challenges involved. There are many types of challenges on Main Menu to playing them. The game have Multiple Endings and Secret chapters, maybe it will be very difficult for you if you can finish them in less than 1 hour. The most important thing is this game doesn’t have Jumpscare might not be complicated if played one. I suggest to you to play this game at night. Because this game has a horror genre and it will be very challenging if you play it at night and don’t forget to use a headset with loud sound

Clea is a game that I’ve been following since it was a mere concept art from the developer. At the time, I wasn’t very interested in the project; mainly because the original art wasn’t very beautiful (sorry XD). But then, all of a sudden, the character designer which worked with InvertMouse on his previous projects came back. And then… I saw it. The new version of that original concept art; and it looked fabolous. I was stunned; those eyes, that direct gaze at the player, almost emotionless and soulless, devoid of any life, made me think: “Wow. This… this is fantastic! Maybe it’s for the best if I follow this project, it may turn into something very interesting.”

OBEY
An original and very tactical game of subversion, deceit and general skullduggery.
Obey brings to the table a fresh approach to the pvp multiplayer experience. The aim of the game is to be the first to achieve a certain monetary goal (usually 10,000 cents) and the means to achieve this goal varies considerably.
At the beginning of each match each player finds themselves in control of a cute little bunny rabbit (a hamster or guinea pig perhaps?). The first player to enter the Robot doorway is the player who gets to control it, thus a race is on. Upon entering the robot the electric sentries will all power up rewarding any late comers with electrocution, there is no second place.

This is a fantastic game, suffice it to say. It’s set around the concept of getting your enemies to act against their own self interest, which you may be confused about, after all, why would your opponents try to help you win? Well, because they think that it’ll also help themselves win. The victor is typically the one who best enlists the help of the other players while keeping them thinking that they’re not actually sabotaging themselves. Either that or that one bunny which just plays perfectly obedient the whole game yet still somehow wins because they’re getting steady progress towards that 10,000 cent goal while everyone else is squabbling to be overlord.

Case 00: The Cannibal Boy
ok for starters I love love LOVE the characters designs plot and graphics, I think that everything ties together really well I also really like how they added the theme of murder and urban legends and an queer relationship I think it gives it a little more individuality all in all I really love this game and would recommend this to others people but I’m also really sad that there isn’t another game out and there probably wont be but its amazing non the less :)

Just watch a let’s play it’s a better use of your time and free! The game is bad the storytelling is atrocious. However, the sound design, and art are good. Don’t waste your few dollars on this unless you’re really into startlingly sweet main menu jump scares because that’s the only thing here that will thrill you.

Echoed Memories
It’s a great game with lovable characters and a fun, yet very emotional story. There are many accessability options to keep the game available to a wide audience. There is a also a difficulty setting for hard, normal, and casual - with casual making the game VERY easy if you are only interested in story and don’t really want to fight a lot of difficult battles.
Overall, Echo607 has knocked another great game out of the park, and I highly recommend this game for any RPG Lovers. Don’t expect another Final Fantasy clone. It’s so much deeper than that. Also flirting, lots and lots of flirting.

It was a joy to play through this adventure. It was such a satisfying conclusion to an adventure that was years in the making. Especially for someone who has been following the development of both games for years. Congratulations Echo for completing the story you wanted to tell!

Higurashi When They Cry Hou - Ch.1 Onikakushi
First, a brief note to the uninitiated:
This is not a pleasant story, whatever the screenshots may have led you to believe. Beneath the veneer of a cheesy, run-of-the-mill school-comedy lies a cruel world of madness, terror, and violence. Major characters die routinely; sometimes on-screen, sometimes off, but never in a peaceful manner. Nonetheless, it is a highly compelling experience, and very rewarding if you can endure to the end of the series. If this intrigues you, feel free to read on, but those looking for nothing more than a stereotypical anime-harem-style rom-com would do well to look elsewhere. Higurashi may resemble that on a superficial level, but this is a series that delights in letting the reader think they know what is going on, even as it brings the façade crumbling down around them.

Important Information to Know

My Inner Darkness Is A Hot Anime Girl!
Good game overall. References are amazing (especially if you’re in the SIGYAAD Discord, you should join it, it’s fun). Menus are nice to look at and navigate and the combat feels very rewarding. However there are a few negative things I’d like to point out. The text is riddled with typos (either something simple like “wierdo” or punctuation where there shouldn’t be any), first person mode resets when I enter a new room, and I couldn’t seem to find a way to fullscreen the game.
So I like it, other than the oddities mentioned I really recommend it. Especially when you’re seeing references left and right to people you know.

The game technically: As the anthropologist and spiritualist Carlos Castaneda said in one of his brilliant passages, “(…) the aim is to balance the terror of being alive with the wonder of being alive”. Mixing the exploration of the sensorial and the experimental, Schastye, aims at the balance between the terror of spiritual/existencial awareness with the wonder of spiritual/existencial awareness, using a pixelated and dithering aesthetic, something like a revival or “lost game” from the PSX era or early 2000s PC games. In Schastye you wake up in a small bedroom, with few elements beyond of a radio, a burning incense and an old computer with Word 97 opened. The only substantial progress action you can take is to sit in front of the computer and randomly press keys on keyboard to see the story being written automatically… Yes, all you can do is read an interactive story on a computer screen, a metalinguistic gameplay where the sounds around you alternate between children playing in the street, raindrops and noise from neighbors. During the reading we come across with quotes from Chapayev and Void by Victor Pelevin, Necronomicon by H. P. Lovecraft and the ambience of a journey through the studies of Marcel Griaule. Writing and narrative are close to the Lovecraftian epistle style with Carlos Castaneda’s oneirism, and his pioneering spiritualism full of hallucinogenic teas/drugs.
