SokoMatch: Lizard Saga
You have to clear 40 levels by playing away all colored blocks by pushing them together in a line or hook.
Moves can be undone. There is no penalty, no number of moves target.
The levels are not too easy, which is nice. I finished them a first time in 2 hours.
The music is not annoying, volume and effects can be adjusted as well as the resolution and screen mode.
Too bad the movement is a little bit sluggish. I prefer being able to play fast.
Apart from the fact I wished there were more levels, it’s the only minor issue I had.

Putt-Putt® Joins the Parade
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IemD92bIcoY
An Instant Childhood Point-and-Click Classic from the Days of my Childhood which is a joy to play for Windows PCs, MS-DOS PCs & even the Panasonic 3DO Consoles in which you help Putt-Putt join the Cartown Pet Parade by Earning Money for a Carwash/New Paint Job, Finding Pep & Getting a Balloon.
As for the Voices in the game, I prefer the US Version over the Japanese Version when it comes to the Panasonic 3DO Import Version.

If George Orwell’s 1984 was encapsulated within the confines of the videogame medium, I believe it would resemble something very akin to Putt Putt enters the Parade. In terms of sheer oppression, fear mongering and propaganda to enslave it’s citizens, this game excels.
Our Story begins with the sun rising over a seemingly serene landscape, this source of light and life is humanised with a beaming face shining down upon the denizens of this world, clearly being our Big Brother figure of the eye in the sky. This world is devoid of religious imagery, so we as the player must assume the inhabitants of this world subscribe to more primitive methods of Sun Worship, only more worrying as his face smiles unblinking down upon his world. Shortly we are introduced to our protagonist.

Mira’s Brush
Cute, colorful, and full of lighthearted humor. I had a little trouble getting a feel for the color-swapping mechanics, but other than that, I’ve enjoyed what I’ve played so far. Looking forward to seeing how the game develops as it gets close to full release.

Mira’s Brush is a colorful take on the side-scrolling pixel-art platforming genre, a genre that defined early video games and has persisted through the years. The basic idea is that all the color has been stolen from Chromaland which is now greyscale and it is up to Mira and her brush to restore color. You can steal colors and paint and do a host of different shapes and colors to defeat or blend enemies. Sadly it is marred by clunky gameplay and tutorial and clunky menus.
The platforming aspect of the game is pretty icy and takes some frustrating moments getting used to. I found it difficult to jump high enough sometimes and it really takes more technique to get on to stuff but it is manageable, but it should be like 10% higher. The tutorial floating text is terribly placed and floats off screen and is difficult to see. Sometimes matching enemies to the background does not work.

Poi
I’ve been playing this game since the very, very early versions of the Early Access release, before cameras and costumes were a thing, but I’ve taken a long, long time to write a review, mostly because I’m having a hard time to fully express my feelings about this game. There are way too many things to talk about, which means this is going to be a rather lengthy review, and it might also be all over the place due to the amount of stuff that comes to mind, but let’s dive right in.
I’ve spent most of my teenage years and all of my early adulthood wishing for the “perfect” 3D platformer, one that combined most of the things I like in a single, awesome package. I dreamed of a game with a rich, vast world to explore. It had to have a lot of secrets and tricks to discover, but it also had to have well designed platforming and action to boot, and the atmosphere had to evoke feelings of childlike wonderment and adventurous endeavors in boththe soundtrack, the visuals and the story. The characters had to be adorable and stylish, and the gameplay had to be smooth and thrilling.

Poi is a good Mario clone. End of story now get out of the review section and buy the game if you want to kill a good 32 hours collecting things.
okay that’s not entirely true so read this instead
PLOT
You and your sister run away from the city in order to find Adventure. On your adventure to find adventure you meet up with Mario in his mid 80’s who asks you to get his sonic ring with ribbons attached to it down from a tall stump due to him being a crotchety old man who can’t do it himself. So you jump to the top of the stump, grab his ring and when you bring it back to him he tells you that the ring is called an “Explorers Medallion” and they are foudn all over the world. So he asks you and your sister if you want to get on his magic flying whale blimp to find him and since choice matters as much as it did in TellTale’s Walking Dead Season 1 in this game, you say yes and off the three of you go to go get the Medallions and save the world or something

DORAEMON STORY OF SEASONS
EDIT:
After playing a little bit more, and unlocking additional stamina for Noby (yes, dear viewer, you’re not stuck at a teensy 100 units of stamina), the game becomes a lot less frustrating to play. Once you realize that you’re basically growing crops for yourself to make food with (for quick stamina recovery and to make the friendship slog less of a thing), that the animals are the main moneymakers of your farm, that your stamina is better spent gathering things, and OH MY GOSH MATERIAL SHED YES I NEEDED SPACE FOR MY ITEMS, this game becomes playable.

game’s good but I really need harvester and tractor
After playing for more hours, I’m going to elaborate what I said above
In regards of crops
Plus points
-
Lots of plant varieties and crop leveling system
-
Massive space, really massive that even dedicating to half of the land for grass and wheats, you have another extra space to plant more
Minus points
- Crop leveling system does get tedious. Single harvest crops can make it bearable but multi level crop is another story. Found out that multi harvest crops does not level up after its first harvest no matter how much Fancy fertilizer you dump. So just turn those higher level produce to seeds and plant more, right? Right?

Emily is Away <3
Teen Heartbreak Simulator 3
_well, kind of
not entirely_
It was January 2018. I just finished the first semester of my freshman year at the university and was done with the New Year festivities. Still somewhat anxious and depressed because of new environment and the death of one of my favourite singers of all time half a year prior, I was scrolling through YouTube to find myself something comforting. And I found a bit dated walkthrough (by Jacksepticeye) of this minimalistic, yet very cute game called Emily is Away (2015). It proposed a trip to the internet of the past, to good old times, when social media wasn’t that big of a thing and people used pretty simple AOL messengers for communication. Truth be told, back in 2008-2009 I used different kinds of chats, but despite that this game still somehow managed to make me feel nostalgic and appreciative [of something that I never really experienced before]. Although, behind that cute retro-aesthetic, a very sad story was hidden - a story about friendship and youth love, friendzone and broken heart; a story about growing up and understanding that life isn’t fairytale - people come and they go. And that’s a pretty bitter truth of life.

The emily series feels like an actual throwback to those early internet era, even when you werent there, it feels nostalgic to see everything so primitive, plus delivers an history that fits the era, with teens who like to update his status everytime they can, post photos of his activities, and most importantly, sending messages between ‘em.

My Sweet Ants!
a literal masterpiece, everytime i remember the agonizing years of hating myself ive gone through i also remember my sweet ants and everything feels okay. nothing in this world is better than my sweet ants
– Real player with 4.2 hrs in game
Looks like I get to write the first review for My Sweet Ants! I’m afraid it’s not going to be a good one.
My Sweet Ants! is a free mobile app that’s been dumped from the iOS app store onto Steam. I got my key from DIG in their latest bundle. Why do I do this to myself? This mobile app is a game where you solve jigsaw puzzles of ants which have had anime girl eyes and mouths photo shopped onto them. Every day we stray further from god’s light, I guess.
Like all mobile apps, the quality is pretty low here. Resolution is fixed so the game falls below acceptable standards for PC.

ShapeShifter
It feels nostalgic to jump, swim, fight, dodge and collect coins and power ups - a true old-school platforming sensation. With that in mind, the visuals, sounds and physics-based platform movement are modern and slick.
Female protagonist in a world where the living beings are shapes, in a rescue mission for her kidnapped boyfriend.
Ling comes to the rescue of her kidnapped boyfriend all the way from their home in the pleasure island, through the jungles, volcano, haunted island, winter island and eventually - the daungan - where her boyfriend is kept locked.
Physics based platform movement that feels GREAT!
Featuring chayote-time jumps, split second jump memory, acceleration & deceleration, physics and momentum.
Each one of the 5 islands has an amazing artwork to unlock, 6 in total along with a game ending artwork.
that makes sense and closes the storyline beautifully.
