CAT SUDOKUšŸ±

CAT SUDOKUšŸ±

This is the very first public review on the video game known as “Cat Sudoku” It is my duty to make sure that all the humans reading this spends the correct amount of currency to play this wonderful form of entertainment. Please, this video game is very educational and good for the human mind. It also has the species known as “cats” which I can assume is one of the mammals that you humans enjoy owning when domesticated. This game is a wonderful experience and it should be shared among the humans of earth. Thank you.

“Columnsā€¦a reference to a very old match 3 puzzle game that this game emulates in no way, shape, or form…”

This is much less a game, than it is, a way to unwind and chill, maybe needle out some emotions.

Well, I say that, but, it is only mostly so, because A-Eye, the main interactive persona, the one ‘controlling everything’, does make it harder at some point, and the chill factor drops until one can pass it, and get the apology waffle.

This is mostly a medium of popular references. Olympics, sports, video games, hobbies, academics&trivia, and even a nod or two towards the likes of authors that wrote about humanity’s downward spiral, though no names are directly mentioned, I definitely got some vibes of George Orwell, to name one.

This is a very simple, 2d game, that in terms of gameplay isn’t extremely exciting but it’s 100% worth just for the story itself. I randomly found this game yesterday and decided to install it, not really expecting much from it. But, the more you “press any button”, the more you get immersed in this story and relate to this cute little character called A-Eye, who, if you are anything like me, you will just want to hug and tell everything is going to be ok, by the time the game is over.

Don’t want to spoil the game too much, but if you have an hour to spare (probably less than that), you should give this game a go. It’s a rollercoaster of emotions.

  • Write your dating sim over five acts

  • Use various skills such as actually talking to your crush to figure out what they like, and then put that in the game!

  • Navigate the new world as an independent developer!

Good luck! You’ll need it! Unless you’ve already played this game and have memorized what to do!

HANDMADE CARPROGRAM

HANDMADE CARPROGRAM

Develop software with fun, game-like programming.

With this application, thereā€™s no need for you to know any technical terms.

Youā€™ll set up things like houses and tools, without using hardly any words, just like a simulation game.

This becomes an act of programming, and as a result, youā€™ll be able to develop software.

ā€œPrograms are toys.ā€

You may wonder what it means to think like a program.

Some people might even see the word in English and scream ā€œAhhhh! English!!! Run awaaay!!ā€

In that case, why not think of it as ā€œplaying with building blocks (programing)ā€ instead?

The block structure you make runs as software. The only resource you need is this application.

Iā€™ll say it once more.

ā€œPrograms are toys.ā€

Nowā€™s your chance to assemble some toys.

This isnā€™t simply a program (toy).

This isnā€™t simply a game.

Through this toy (game), you can develop software.

Once youā€™ve developed something, you can use the attached CARPEXECUTABLE.exe (HANDMADE CARPEXECUTABLE)

(It is in the [C:\Program Files (x86)\steam\steamapps\common\HANDMADE CARPROGRAM\CARPROGRAM] folder) to execute your creation, and even distribute it to others.

(“Sample” is in it.)

(Icon is able to be changed too)

Create games and software of your own imagining by thinking outside the box, and then release them out into the world.

Note: CARPEXECUTABLE.exe (HANDMADE CARPEXECUTABLE) that comes as part of these files is able to be redistributed on its own. Icon changes are also possible.

You can also make image files of your creations and show them to others to receive praise.

Youā€™re welcome to use this product for videos and livestreams!!

(Though Iā€™m sorry to ask it, please do so responsibly.)

10mg: You are such a Soft and Round Kitten.

Really fun game to play especially during quarantine as its overall mood is really upbeat in these hard times. Only negative is it can get confusing during your first playthrough but not confusing to the point it feels impossible to complete without a guide (looking at you half life). Overall fun game with mechanics that surprised me, highly suggest playing it but make sure you have the time.

*Even though I had received a copy early, my opinions here are completely unbiased.

Great game for anyone, an excellent introduction to the genres of sylvie-game and 10-minute-game, and a short sweet and cute experience for existing fans. If you must close the game you will start over from the beginning, so try to set aside a little more than 10 minutes for your playthrough in case you want to take your time and admire this gentle world. It’s hard to say too much without giving away any of the delightful moments you will encounter in these 10 minutes of game, so give it a try!

the art is great and its really fun to just mess around in but the screen is way too zoomed in. 90% of the time you just gotta make a leap of faith which in some situations can get you stuck and since there is no restart button that means you gotta close the game and re open it. level 2 is particularly aggravating because there is no floor so if you fall at certain points you die and have to start over or you get stuck and start from level 1. lots of glitches which at best great for speed-runners and at worst stop the game from working. i had a lot of fun messing around in this game and finding glitches but i cant recommend it if you want to actually play the game. i feel like it has a lot of potential.

ā€“ Real player with 5.4 hrs in game

Although it isn’t finished and not fully polished, it’s a great example of what we can create in a short amount of time together. It’s a blast playing and messing around, especially with trying to break the game. That world record will be mine.

Shooty

Right now, the game lacks content to make up for its price. I can imagine that this game can be fun with real people, but the bots are kinda stupid.

This game plays kind of like Teeworlds, which, to this day, still is a fun game for me. You can pick up several weapons, like shotguns, sniper rifles, assault rifles etc. There’s also a melee attack. Currently, there’s two maps. Frostland, which has a platform to the right that, as far as I know, cannot be accessed, and I tried everything, including rocket jumping (which, as expected, doesn’t work, sad TF2 noises). Grassland seems nicer. Both maps have a hole in the middle which you can fall down.

ā€“ Real player with 0.8 hrs in game

Shooty is a Unity Asset flip, what Valve calls a “fake game”. The “developer”, IronyDev/Shooty, took the Super Multiplayer Shooter Template Unity Store tutorial/demo/game asset pack from the real developers, Visyde Interactives, changed the name, added a sprite pack from another actual developer, and dumped the result onto Steam. They’re attempting to scam people into buying this, so they can get your money for someone else’s work.
