Buddy and Lucky Solitaire
I’d only recommend this if you really like Solitaire. I don’t know what it is about this game, but it is not as easy as I remember this game being like the old school Microsoft one was. Especially when you do the 3 card draw method. You have to make incredibly experienced decisions when it comes to placement of cards, and you will not win by simply placing cards where there is an available space. You likely will have to play several dozen deals in order to win. I only really appreciate this game because my skill level drastically improved while playing. I learned so many things, through experience and through watching YouTube videos which i’m actually quite proud of.

I really like the jigsaw series and finding Buddy and Lucky in a solitaire game was a pleasant surprise, the game was beautiful and full of details to enhance the experience, I really liked it. :)
Some adjustments are welcome with mouse sensitivity and separate control from ambient sound. ;)

Shephy
SHEEP!!!!!
This somewhat complicated card game is a must play for anyone looking for a challenge! Your decisions will affect the fate of your herd, so be careful! One wrong move will cost you the game in some cases… From its charming art style to its impossible story mode, there is no wonder of why this game is so fun!

Found this game when Watame played it, honestly pretty dang fun. It’s more of a randomly generated puzzle game. You have a deck with a set amount of bad event cards that you have to play around in order to win. Big problem with this kind of game is how sometimes RNG just screws you over and gives you a 0% chance of winning. The chances of that are about once out of 5 or 6 games, and since you can try an infinite amount of times, it’s not that bad in my opinion.
What I’m most annoyed about is that after I play it a few times the next time I start the game the screen is just black. I can still control it it’s just the display that disappeared. I have to reinstall the game to fix it, but since the game size is so tiny, the download is done almost instantly so it’s not much of a bother. I’m not sure if it’s a problem on my side or the game.

TinyPoker
I don’t want to give this a thumbs down because it runs smooth and seems bug free. I won’t give this a thumbs up because the game execution is unimaginative.
If you want to just play hand after hand of poker with yourself this game is great. You might like the story mode. For me, having to start from the beginning after every loss makes it tedious and unamusing. Progressing through the game play was not achievable. I’ll suggest a much needed save feature.
There is nothing in this game as is that draws me to play again. In that, I’ve spent $2 for 4 hours of game play. Cheaper than a movie rental. Had the developer known anything about game theory this could have been a really great game.

Yamafuda! 2nd station
This is probably the most relaxing card game I’ve ever played. Just chill out and hike up some mountains with your friend while listening to some comfy music.
As a card game, the mechanics aren’t too deep or combo/synergy heavy but that’s part of the charm. You’re intended to take it easy and carefully hike your way up the mountain rather than cycle your deck twenty times and clear it in one turn. You don’t fight waves of enemies, instead each mountain is like one long endurance battle with some breaks here and there.

As many small games it’s a bit rough around the edges, but the rest makes up for it. First few mountains look simple, as if the cards/items don’t matter. A bit later you’ll need both luck and strategy to reach the summit.
Most importantly, although I’m not quite sure how punching a buff dog is a metaphor for climbing a mountain, in terms of theme and aesthetic this game is still feels incredibly refreshing and creative compared to the typical card games.
I’m also really grateful that the developer took time and effort to translate the game to English.

ANIME MATCH
As the world record holder of this game’s speedrun I must say it has some interesting mechanics, I know the dev, (not personally ofc) and I was immediately hooked to it, I knew it was my game.
It has waifus, 3d, good soundtrack, easy controls, more waifus, cards and speedrun capabilities.
After some harsh hours of bad rng (about 3 tries) and some problems with the software i was able to get a 25.59s (any%) but as every speedrun is, it can always go lower, so feel free to try and beat it.
I think I’m going to retire from speedrunning now since it’s taken a toll on me,

This game doesn’t lie, you match anime cards. Decent art and music and I believe I counted 3 endings. Gameplay is simple and easy to 100%. It’s overall nothing amazing but also not anything terrible. $2 full price ain’t bad but I’d more say to pick it up on sale and click away.

LetterBound is a cooperative spelling adventure that can be played locally with up to four friends. The game features a full length campaign, a competitive battle mode, a host of unlockable content, and an educational mode for parents and teachers to practice spelling with their children. Due to release in the first half of 2021, LetterBound harnesses the spirit of beloved word games and marries it to the fast paced gameplay of modern day couch co-ops. It’s the perfect mix for those who love playing word games with loved ones on their couch. Whether you’re a word maestro or trying to improve your vocabulary, LetterBound will surely bring a smile to your face!
Mega Solitaire Collection
This game is garbage. There isn’t an option to shuffle the remaining cards, so 90% of the games you play, you have to start over because there aren’t any more moves you can make. On top of that, the “hint"s are utter shit that tell you to make nonsense, useless moves. This game is a waste of time lol.

One of the best solitaire games on steam hands down. at 1.99 this game is a steal, the music is beautiful, the art is eye popping and amazing, the controls are fluid, the game doesnt crash, the Solitaire and piano music is a great day to wind down at the end of the day, or to kill some time. This is not just a game its an experienc.e

Rise of the Slime
Rise of the Slime
You suddenly wake up as a small Slime and are told to go on a journey across the land to reclaim the throne…
Slay the Spire but with a slimy gooey twist
After playing the game for quite a while now I can say that I really enjoy it and every little aspect of it.
Art
The artstyle is a cute comic cutout style with almost everything being moved around on sticks like on a kids play which adds a unique charm to it. Small details like two extra arms holding up shields to signify block are just cute.

I was pleasantly surprised by this game. This is NOT just another carbon-copy deck builder.
Rise of the Slime feels a bit more casual than similar titles. I died less often, and combat encounters felt less swingy in general. You can expect to get much further in your runs, and to have more control over the cards in your deck.
The adorable graphics and setting are a huge bonus. Most deck builders take place in a highly gritty fantasy setting, and the adorable art style is a nice change of pace. It is also nice to walk through the world rather than click on rooms in a menu. There are even a few secrets with the interactable terrain.

Vidya Poker
Do you like video poker? So do I! I think this game captures the enjoyment of an arcade style poker game pretty well. I really enjoy the fact that I can play the game (AKA lose money) as fast as I want to or maybe take some time if I have a really buff hand. I also like how casual it is because losses don’t carry near the same weight as real life. I made some videos if you want to check them out.
The customization options are cool because you can change the fronts and backs of the cards and you can change your toon/avatar/mascot in a couple different ways (skins and the 3D model). I like the animations of the default toon but I haven’t gotten enough diamonds yet to buy a different toon. The background can also be changed from the default stormy sky to a plain green background.

It’s ok. If you like to gamble its fun. If you like to play hold em and 3 card poker, but never played video poker like me you might run out of money often.
